So cute.. Blind people should learn from them. They dont care if they are blind. They are happy to be alive thanks to you! You save their life. Thats what we need. The people are horrible and cruel. THANKS!

disabledanimal has adoptions, help and the ability to list disabled animals - it's for those who have a soft spot in their hearts for these precious ones that are blind, deaf, paralyzed, etc. :)

Really quite interesting to see Baron "flinch" when Widget barked in his face, and then be completely oblivious to it all when his back's turned. I see from your blog that Baron's found a new home (with Stoney, another blind dog), so good to hear and they both look very happy in the pictures (posted October 07, 2008, if you're curious out there).

We have a blind and deaf catahoula, a blind catahoula, a deaf dal mix and even a blind horse. Many people said I should put them all to sleep but they are smarter and enjoy themselves at least as much if not more so then my seeing and hearing animals and are MUCH smarter. :) I actually taught my blind horse years ago to jump she is too old to ride now but we showed her took her on trails etc she always did great.

When the dog is white (nearly fully) which has blue eyes one it means deaf in one ear, if both blue eyes it fully deaf both ears.

Very cute, you must be so dedicated to care for them both under these conditions. Most owners wouldn't know what to do.
Also... I have that same tile in my kitchen, lol!
