agree with the video except the last part, everyone sins voluntarily. EVERYONE. Christian or not. no one is sticking a gun to your head to force you to sin. you would be self righteous if you believe once saved you will never sin again. it's impossible. we still have a sin nature, even after salvation. repent, and strive to not sin. don't become like the pharisees who lived for rules and not Christ.

Turning away from sin doesn't have to be mental. You could force yourself to turn away, but your mind/spirit might not think the same way. You might want to secretly commit that sin inside your heart. That's why you must change your mind and intentions.
