I hated the scripted battles on the campaign but online co-op game play was good when I wasn't paired up with MW rejects. The vs. game play is nice, but if you don't use solid tactics then it'll be a short match. I have ArmA 2 as well and my rig has no problems running it on high, but I just wasn't able to get into ArmA 2 like I did in ArmA. I thought OFP2 was pretty decent and didn't get the credit it deserved. Codemasters should have just stuck with hardcore mode though.

I don't like the guy's voice. He doesn't seem like he could really "bash" a game if he had to. He sounds too friendly.

I love it how you say buy a real game like mwf2, but mwf2 bad examples. camping, care package glitch calling in 2000 packages in one game hmm failure. Javelin glitch. People who do elevators going ontop of the map and underneath it, and outside it . MWF2 is the worst game going not 2 mention the messed up ranking with the xp lobbies and stuff and all the hacks on it

No. I did just beat the game but its really frustrating due to the horrible AI. You dont do anything exciting like bomb a village with a heli and your only tactical because your team is really shit. If your interested in playing a similar yet better game, GET THOSE RECON! Advanced warfighter 1 or 2. Both very good. Number 2 is better lol

this is the baddest game , before i bought this game i was like wow cool omg so realistic , but when i played it i was like? WTF this game installed for 20 minutes and then it freezed, than i installed again and it freezed , the 3th time it installed without freezing and then i started to play it lag as hell so dont waste ur time to buy this game !!!

this game game is horrible. i dont care if you call yourself a hardcore gamer, this game is truly annoying. your teammates suck at the basics of any combat related duties you order them to do. graphics were like going back to ps2. the controls were just embarrassing. save 60 bucks or jus go buy a real game like Drakes 2, Demons Souls, Dirt 2, Fallout 3 GOTY, or Borderlands, n oh yea Modern Warfare 2 coming soon.

Hardcore mode on this game changed my entire view of it. So for everyone bitching about this game: it was made to be played on hardcore mode... NOT PUSSY --- I mean normal mode! Normal mode you can just run around like Rambo and do whatever, but hardcore mode requires planning and teamwork!

Agree.. I played single player on normal. and then switched to Hardcore.. and I was like holy shit I wish I did that first..It makes the game so much better... and also now when I host online match I always make them Hardcore

My question is, Why, would the U.S. Marines use a game(If they actually do) to train troops, when VBS2 is much more realistic in terms of the abilities of the engine. Sure, they may play the game just as they do HALO, but the fact is, that if you want to train under certain circumstances that can be unlimited, spending $1,500 for software is a small price to pay. Considering the Military's spending nowadays. It's just a marketing ploy.
