dammit i wish i paid more attention in college and graduated by now, my parents said after i get my degree they would buy me any car i want! i want this car! WHY DIDNT I STUDY HARDER! its cool, couple of more years, its all good
surely beats a 4 cylinder A4 but for sure looses to the v6 A4 which is now the S4, and no, the S4 is not a v8 and does not compare to the ISF, the RS5 does...
Its finally nice to see Lexus spice things up a bit. I mean the 2011 Lexus IS250/350 didnt recieve an overall dramatic change but the LED "audi" like headlights are diffently a plus to a bland lexus model such as this one. Personally In terms of Japense luxury I would take the Infiniti G37 sedan before considering the IS250 but they are both very plush and luxurious cars. I like the minor facelift it actually gave the IS that sporty edge it was lacking, its not amazing but it a good improvement
@akajambas Why should I have to compare the G37 to the IS350? Its not Infiniti's fault that Lexus gives you a smaller sedan with less power, should Infiniti be held accountable for having better standards for a better price in this segment? Facts are that the IS and G37 are both entry class base sedans, If Lexus wanted their cars to produce 204 HP then thats their perogative, they are at fault, unfortuantley not even an IS350 comes on par with a G37 in terms of power, not to mention it more $
They aren't that far off in price. Lexus is more of a luxury car, and its typically more reliable. Yes, the G37 has more HP, but 28 isn't that much compared to the weight difference, and the 1 gallon increase in estimated fuel economy. Get the manual 6MT and its even less. The 0-60 times of Lexus IS350 are faster.
Also, you can't compare the IS250 because its an all wheel drive car that is suited for fuel economy and luxury reasons. Infinity is luxury, but not quite lexus lux
Well thankfully Infiniti found a solution for those deprived of great engineering, In this case the G25 will be a direct competitor to the IS250 and BMW 328i sedan. Its expected to enter production by the end of this year. Its priced competivley against the IS250 at $31,250, the Infiniti MSRP tag might be confusing for the next year until the new generation (2012) G37 sedan debuts with a higher MSRP tag of that similar to its 335i sedan rival. For now $31K gets you 218 HP & $34K gets you 328 HP
@Johncarson9113 Idk why you think horsepower determines quality of a car haha. For most people that part isn't really an important factor. Both cars are amazing nonetheless, preference indeed. and lexus does set the threshold higher i'll agree...its cuz they're considered to be pure more in luxury, & awd in this case for the 250. They will also offer awd 350 in 2011! which im stoked for. This IS350 2011 looks way sexy haha I want...it'd look so sick if it was lowered with sport suspension...
Well both cars are born to serve a similar purpose, they are both entry class sedans, design and appeal is all determined by the eye of the beholder. Obviously you as an owner or potential onwer of a Lexus are biased toward the IS as I am a Biased toward the Infiniti, as a current and past owner behind the wheel of a 07 328i sedan and a 09 G37 sedan I dont expect much from the Lexus IS250/350, well at least nothing more superior to its competitors.& I dont think a car is determined by HP either

@frickingAYE 'LED' on headlight is from LEXUS, not from Audi... make a small research.
