  • daniel vettori ??? bret lee??? Malinga ???

  • 3 paki .. 0 indian hoooohh yeah :D Fking indains ... Our afridi can bowl fast then their fast bowlers khassi sary :D

  • I don't go by popular euphemism and what the cricket critics who have their agendas say. For me Waqar Younis and Malcolm Marshall are better than Wasim Akram. Akram though was more pleasing to the eye and charismatic and definitely a better all round player. Waqar was the most destructive bowler ever. Check his performances in South Africa. Pak scores 220. South Africa is 100 for none and then 200 for 4. Waqar comes back for second spell and finishes off the entire team.

  • Wtf where is Anil kumble.More than 500 wickets in test cricket.10 wkts in a single innings and not in the top 10.Are you kidding me?

  • malcolm Marshall at number 8?!!!!!! ;p

  • @muaythairaja: fair enough, I respect your right to an opinion, although I doubt many English fans would agree that a bowler like Fred Trueman was either an amateur, or not nearly as good as the modern crop of pace bowlers. Arguably however that is merely an indication that England have not had any decent bowlers since 1964 ...

  • murali is the no 1..records says it all

  • I agree with most of this video, but one player who is massivly underrated is Saqlain Mushtaq. He had the most variations, and invented the doosra. He changed the face of spin bowling, and for his innovation alone deserves to be in the top 10. I also don't think Donald deserves to be as high as he is.

  • Interesting choice, although I think the "of all time" description is not quite appropriate on account of the fact that this basically only comprises bowlers of the last forty years. It is difficult to compare these bowlers with, eg, Fred Trueman, Ray Lindwall, SF Barnes, Fazal Mahmood, or Palwankar Baloo, the famous slow left-armer from Poona before India began playing test cricket. I'd also put Marshall higher than Lillee as Marshall did well in tests all round the world, including in Asia

  • @AlanThomasson Maybe but the last 40 years have seen a huge improvement in skill, fitness and competitiveness due to the influx of big money. Players before that were largely amateurs and not nearly as good as modern players. So essentially an all time list only needs to consider modern players.

  • @yasirjam1 don't try to be a prick, those 3 bowlers of India won't deserve any of this greatness...! shit on Indian bowlers!

  • 2:29 look at the face

  • where is shoaib akhtar the all time fastest bowler and saqlain mushtaq the inventer of doosra.

  • Sir Richard Hadlee says hi.

  • my top 3

    3. ajit agarkar

    2. srinath

    1. zaheer khan

the uploader is probably a pakistani.

  • in indian cricket we didnt had a great bowlers... actually it depend on the genes... as most of the indian are vegeterians so we dont have that much energy to bowl in that pace... pakistan in 20 times smaller than our country but still produces quality bowlers 3 are ther in the top ten ever. In india only zaheer is the fastest bowler till date and irfan is the bowler who can swing... this shows that pathans and sikhs are more fit and energetic compare to any other sect... its fact...

    Kumar

  • @seerglobal The fastest Indian bowler ever is Javagal Srinath, a south Indian vegetarian, just a simple fact.

  • Accurate title: 10 of the better bowlers of the last 20 years...in no particular order.

  • @EnglishStreet ud like some uncoordinated pommies with odd actions and baggy pants from 60 years back Im sure?

  • where is richard hadlee?

  • where is Shoaib Akhter ??

  • Shane Warne is the greatest bowler to have ever lived, end of story.

  • how come Imran Khan and Malcolm Marshall are both No 8. My friend you got 11 bowlers up there. 10.Shaun Pollock 9. Glen Mcgrath 8 Imran Khan, Malcolm Marshall 7 Curtly Ambrose 6 Allan Donald 5 Muralitharan 4 Waqar 3 Shane Warne 2 Dennise Lillee 1 Wasim Akram
  • The list is More or less correct, Wasim was awsome

  • muralithran should be first (he got 800 wickets or more)

  • Your joking if you think Wasim is better than McGrath

  • @BeaversBrah! yes joking because Wasim Akram is an Asian then he is Muslim and then he is Pakistani.. enough to make him lesser then McGrath??? wakeup

  • waseem is best

  • Where the hell are Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh??? And also Pollock did not deserve the place.

  • Where the fuck is Sir-Lordship-Look-At-My-Fucking-Great-Mustache-Richard?

  • Glen mcgrath destroyed more top order batsmen then anyone

  • awesome yaar

  • Come on, if youtube has taught us anything, it is that the current Indian test XI are the best eleven bowlers of all time, and that Tendulkar is the best bowler ever. Indeed anyone disagreeing with that is disrespecting every person on India, and is indeed a racist.

  • order is messed up... lol

  • ambrose was the best bowler ive seen he could take wickets on flat tracks like adelaide oval his spell of 7 for 1 in perth against australia was awesome my top 10 ambrose akram lillie warne marshall hadlee mgrath waqar garner kapil dev

  • warne ahead of murali n waqar too?? haha joking , where's richard hadlee ?

  • Waqar ahead of Murli... u must be joking

  • I m indian...you cant not compare Ambrose and McGrath bowling with anyone else.....

  • Shane Warne for number 1 champ

  • No offense to any one .... There are flaws in this but ..... Wasim akram is with out a doubt the number 1 fast bowler of all time .....

  • @kaker11 Without a doubt? Richard Hadlee has a better average, strike rate, economy rate more 5 fors and 10 fors even though he played less test. Hadlee, Lillie and Marshall are the top 3.

  • Top 10 should be as follows: 1.Courtley Ambrose, 2.Glen McGrath, 3.Muttiah Muralitharan, 4.Wasim Akram, 5.Malcom marshall, 6.Shane Warne, 7.Dennise Lillie, 8.Richard Hadley, 9.Waqar Younis, 10.Alan Donald........ Notable mentions to Garner, Steyn, Pollock, Imran Khan, Holding, Walsh, Kapil Dev, Sydney Barnes, kumble, Roberts, Vass, Laker, Lee, Saqlain, Trueman, Ntini, Harbajan, Davidson, Vettori, Botham, Bedi, Lindwall

  • @mcdelive

    really u high bro....

rating mcgrath above waqar nd akram is funny enough...:D

mcgrath truly was an outclass bowler..but he was more known for his leathal nd cruel line length with cutters..akram and waqar were the monsters of swing ....

  • @u2atherrr Personally I am a Murali and Wasim fan more than McGrath, but thats my personal likeness.. Same probably goes for u when it comes to Wasim... But i rate McGrath as one of the best ever.. McGrath has contributed to wins of his team more than any other bowler has ever done. He was the main reason why Australians were so-dominant once, both home and away. Just look into his record, he has done brilliantly in all conditions.. for you to call him outcast, are you in-sane...?

  • @mcdelive

    outcast? read my comment again.

Akram has given more wins to pak than mcgrath with his outstanding bowling. In Ausies every win there will be equal contribution by Bowlers n Batsmens, where as Pakis depend more on Bowlers nd that too on Wasim.

Wasim is known for movement while mcgrath is known for deadly length.akram even leads mcgrath in terms of records

nd honestly i like mcgrath more especially after an aus/pak series in 2005 when mcgrath almost owned paki batsmens in whole series.

  • @u2atherrr Oh yea guess i read it wrong..My Apologies!!!... I am sure most of you would agree wid my top 10, maybe our personal preferences might change the order though and also with the remaining 20 odd players I have mentioned... its a shame we dont see any Ambroses, Wasims, Muralis, McGraths etc... Guess only Dale Steyn can have a crack at it from current cop of players..!

  • @u2atherrr By the way since you mentioned records: here are the numbers in Test cricket; Mcgrath has 563 wickets at Average of 21.64 and Wasim has 414 wickets at 23.62 (McGrath's away average is 20.81 while Wasim's away average is 24.44)... In ODIs Wasim has taken more wickets than McGrath (with 502 against 381), but McGrath has a better average... So when it comes to bowling record, McGrath is slightly ahead of Wasim... Both top bolwers though..!

  • @mcdelive

Yes mcgrath has more wickets in tests coz of more tests played

same goes with oneday.akram taking a 502 nd mcgrath 308

mcgrath has payed with a much better and a worldclass team when compared to wasim.n that does count.mcgrath was more of a test bowler n has helped more in tests.

I rate Akram above mcgrath coz he has not 10,100 times stunned the batsmen n the whole world with such dileviries that truely til date r considered MAGICAL.he knew how to bowl 6 difrnt dileviries in an over

  • England and Indians fans must be p*ss*d *ff.

    @ author

You can't make list of top 10 batsman without English/Indian players.

  • You must be kidding/ where is Michael holding? If Wasim is there where is Walsh and i would not put Walsh there and Walsh is better than Wasim

  • Fair Enough..But McGrath shouldn't be at 9. He was better than Malcolm Marshall. Should be above him

  • McGrath should be in the top 3

  • hahaha its fake.

    wr is rechard headly?

  • Wrong bowling, sorry

  • Surely youre taking the piss mate?? Waqar, Pollock and Donald in the top 10? Akram at 1??? McGrath at 9???? You sir have no fucking clue.

  • @KungFooSing So what do you reckon where should be Wasim? Dude, I am afraid the world of cricket is ever gonna see someone like Wasim.

  • I would like to see McGrath higher than #9 a remarkable career and a great bloke to meet off the pitch too!.

  • Courtney Walsh you forgot that he was the 1st fast bowler to get 500 test wickets??? also Sir Richard Hadlee was not mentioned? he got a statue and was knighted by the Queen!

You can add another spin bowler in Jim Laker who I sure a lot of the young ones do not know he destroyed us Aussies in the Ashes also has the record for best test Innings bowling at 10 for 53 runs (10/53).

  • Pollock was a great all-rounder. Never a great bowler. Should give credit to Rhodes, Gibbs and all the South African fielders, they made life tough for the batsmen to hit through the gaps. Kapil slogged on dead Indian pitches and was the only soul bowling his heart out during his days. The fielding side wasn't as great as the South Africans. I think unfair to leave him out at the cost of Pollock.....

  • Prepare two lists. One of the World's Top 10 Fast bowlers and another of World's Top 5 Spin bowlers. Replace Pollock with Kapil paaji and get in names like Fearsome Five of the West Indies. I think you've forgotten Walsh, do consider the names of Javagal Srinath, Aaqib Javed, C McDermott, Shane Bond, D Fleming

  • No place for Churli Dharan??

  • Clearly, this list is utter rubbish!!!

Its very hard to select a top ten though, where's Holding, Garner, Roberts, Walsh???

Pollock was great, but he could never make it to the top ten... sorry!!!

  • i name is missing who deserve to be there walsh

  • where the fuck is hadlee you small dick

  • why is waqar younis there?

  • akram? you are kidding.....no Holding, Garner, Botham, Hadlee, Dev or Sobers???

  • @dixiethistle1 I think 2W f**ked u twice hahahahhahaha !!!! AKRAM is the father of all

  • cant agree on it dude don't go on statistics where lee and akhter!!!

  • The person who did this has NO clue about cricket. Shaun Pollock in the top ten bowlers of all time? Curtley Ambrose out of the top 5? Waqur Younis in top 5. I would not even have Waqur n the top 25! Was Alan Donald a greater fast bowler than Malcolm Marshall? Look at the averages and strike rates bro. And all of you idiots who put up these opinionated polls need to do some research before you do so! Get the facts before posting BS like this!

  • Wasim Akram!!!!

  • according to Imran Khan Micheal holding is the best bowler in the world. I saw his interview on youtube.

  • Murali is a chucker and should have been baned. When you have the rules changed for you to compete, you are cheating! Get him out'a there. Bowl with a straight arm! That's what all youngsters are told, same for him.

  • Richard Hadlee should at least be in the top 3

  • Firstly, you should call this video the greatest bowlers of the modern era. Secondly, you forgot Richard Hadlee and Joel Garner. Shaun Pollock? Lol 1 Garner 2 Marshall 3 McGrath 4 Ambrose 5 Donald 6 Hadlee 7 Khan 8 Lillee 9 Murali/Warne (can't decide) 10 Holding Trueman misses out because I don't class him as modern era.
  • @in3x where is wasim..................

  • @nopangasaysik He's not a better fast bowler than any of those on my list.

  • @in3x good list, but Wasim can fit in Top 10. He was not that successful, but the most versatile fast bowler of modern era

  • @muaythairaja well if we do not bring his comments about sachin in view, then shoaib akhtar is THE no. 1

  • Good try: Here is my list: not in the order of ranking though: 1. Shane Warne 2. Curtly Ambrose 3. Muralidharan 4. Glen Mc grath 5. Malcom Marshal 6. Lille 7. Waqar Younis 8. Richard Hadlee 9. Wasim Akram 10. Imran Khan
  • wat a fuckin retard u are your top 2 should be 8 and 9 mgrath 3 warne 2 murali is the best and not just because stsats say so

  • @ethan771000 fagrag.

  • Sydney Barnes was playing Cricket not in ther modern Era but I mus say the Englishman was special. Kapil Dev was also an inspiration. Ian Thompson,Lillee,Mc Grath,Warne, Flemiing -Australia, Malcom Marsh ,Ambrose-West indies , Imran Kham- Pakistan One of the Greatest!

  • I came here only to see whether this uploader has made Wasim as the first ranked bowler or not ! : )

  • Waqar younis was best because he generated and specialized REVERSE as well as LATE swing deliveries which were unplayable deliveries for all best batsman's of that time.

  • Glenn Mcgrath only at no.9, what were you smoking when you made this vid?

  • @uploader...you dont know anything about cricket.....you missed out the greatest bowler in the history of the game- SYDNEY BARNES.....if there is a bradman in bowling then it is he....check out and do some research....and the order of the list is so damn bad!

  • GHANTAAA..!!! FAAALTU HAI YEH

  • Washin Akrin in the Mid order, Murulithuran Still a thrower in My Books, Shane Warne Ahead of most of them. What about Richard Haddly from NZ. Ian Botham from England- Do some reasech and See the kings of the reverse and outswingers??

  • Shane Warne still a cheater of the game, not suites for the gentleman game. Other blokes are fine on the list.

  • @arun9426 How did Warne cheat? Why aren't you angry at all the ball tampering Pakistani bowlers?

  • Waqar younis was best because he generated and specialized REVERSE as well as LATE swing deliveries which were unplayable deliveries for all best batsman's of that time.

  • @4jigar I never saw hism win a World Cup of Any Sought??? Look at Match Winners- Australia and the Calypso Kings had most of them??

  • @youbeauty25

The of Greatest bowlers contest is so high and includes only those bowlers who really contribute something special in the cricket that's why I consider Waqar Younis as best. Richard Hadley just one choice bowler for NZ, Kapil Dev was one choice bowler for India and Shane Warne was just one choice spinner for Australia. These three bowlers fall under the category of great bowlers but not greatest.

  • Where is Richard Hadlee and the hurricane Kapil dev from India

  • i agree only with No-1 position

  • No Hadlee? Pollock vs Hadlee? No contest.

  • Allan donald was good, but wouldn't rate him in the top 10

  • Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh... No mention of them ????

  • Where's Harold Larwood, Frank Tyson, Spothforth, Michael Holding, Joel Garner ect???

Do your homework, there were great bowlers before the1980's too you know!

  • @dawkeye1 Times change mate, bowling in tests, one dayers, county and T20 is a lot more challenging than only the occassional test like in the old days.

  • @navkaran81 idiot

  • Shoaib Akhtar. No 1

  • Saw Shaun Pollock. Realised this uploader hadn't a clue.

  • @Cerebz2011

    And McGrath at 9...

    Even less of a clue...

  • wasim waqar and imran ,, no matter where u from u cant keep them out of top 10 ,, no offence

  • no walsh ? no saqlain who invented doosra lol .,,. no qadir who invented googlie ..yeah and hedlee too ,, and joel garner was not that quick ,, and even holding was better then garner

  • not even close, Marshall was the best fast bowler I've seen. Hadlee certainly deserves a spot, even if he is a nob.

  • How do batsmen practice to face a bowler like Ambrose? Will they have anyone bowling from the top floor of a building?

  • whats the song???

  • Comment removed

  • I would have had Kapil dev at 10 instead of pollock becoz He toiled hard on dust bowls of india while pollock got most of his wicket in SA in helpful conditions also he had Fannie de vilers and later Ntini to build pressure from the other end while Kapil for most part of his career has Sunil Gaveskar or madan lal or a spinner sharing the new ball.... Also Curtly Ambrose should come in at least top 5 I would certainly have Richard Hadlee at 4 instead of Younis

  • @gov544 hadlee i forgot but kapil was one great allrounder not top 10 and yes Pollock should be replaced by Hadlee (in top 5)

  • @Arjun420A first picture of Alan Donal is Flintof s pic.

  • I think Murali should get no 1, coz nobody will pass 800 test wickets and Odi for another 50 years. and kapil dev should get somewhere. Nearest one is Harbajan only 410, another 400 more to take, Murali has taken 10 wickets, 22 times and 5 wickets 67 times. Can u believe? greatest bowler ever seen.

  • Hadlee. Ever heard of him?? Try Google

  • Comment removed

  • akram and no 1 :O wtf? vicky(waqar) will come above him in any list. Top 3 Paki Bowlers will always be Imran, Fazal Mahmood and Waqar hence Wasim cant make any top 10

murali and pollock dont deserve any top 10.

what about the great Sir Richard Hadlee?. is the uploader nuts? How can he miss Hadlee. Imran with Hadlee can never come below 4 in any list. What about great Micheal Holding and Fred Trueman?? .

A much savant and better list would be:.. Contd.....

  • Comment removed

  • Wasim bhai is always no.1 but Courtney Walsh should have been the second. Surprised not to see Kumble in the list. 1> Wasim Akram Malcom Marshal Dennis Lillee Muthaiaah Murlidharan Courtney Walsh Shane Warne Imran Khan Glenn Mcgrath Anil Kumble Richard Hadlee These are my 10 favorites. + Mike Holding, Garner, Saqlain, Donald, Kapil, Chaminda, Mcdermot........................ Many......
  • My bad. Ambrose is there.

  • Nice effort. Sir Richard Hadlee and Curtly Ambrose should make every person's top 10 though.

  • wasim akram no 1

  • what the fuck... expected atleast a couple nice deliveries.... after all its a bloody video... not a picture set -_-

  • @iBeastKiControl go fuck urself...ppl like u are always upto to criticising....finger urself asshole

  • Take out Ambrose and put in Courtny Walsh. He was a better bowler by far.

  • I don't think Ambrose should be in this list.

  • who compiled this? Pakistani? No indian in this list. Indians are best in spin bowling. Not even single person in the list. There are few persons who turned away white ppl are - BS Bedi, Vengatraghavan, E Prasanna, and modern Kumble. Definitely above ppl (excluding kumble) are much better than Warne.

  • @tamilselvanpr why all this racist mentality? if u make a list of great batsmen,surely there will be few Indians!!!! but the truth is India never had any bowler,who can earn a place in top ten! n yeah,if u make a list of spinners,there will b lot of them,but the top would be ;

    1. SHANE WARNE

    2. M. MURALIDHARAN

    3. SAQLAINE MUSHTAQ

    4. SIR G. SOBERS

    get a life!!!!!!!

  • this is f-ry..where is Walsh???

  • where is courtney walsh?

  • where is courtney walsh?

  • murli should not be in the list just because he has taken so many wickets does not make him a legend. he has no class.

  • the great bowler ever seen

  • Obviously the uploader is pakistani! n Richard Hadlee gets a pass in this list before Lillee, Lilee doesnt even make the cut farless #2!

  • Comment removed

  • This list is absolute bullshit. You obviously don't know jack about cricket.

  • what about Michael Holding how Allan Donald get there??

  • What a shocking list. Shaun Pollock....was he your boyfriend. Allan Donald !! no way. Don't get me wrong both great bowlers but amongst the top 10...I don't think so.

  • songs name>>?

  • i like this as it makes the worlds best bowler as akram

  • well u cant rate imran and macco at number 8!!!!!

  • I have had the priviledge of fast ballers of 1975 to 2000 .In my book the credit for fast balling go to pair of Jeff Thompson and Dennis Lillee. These to brought to the world of west indies cricket the likes of first Mickel Holding and Andy Roberts, then Malcom Marshall and Joel Garner.West indies dominated the cricket world as undisputed king of cricket in the 80's.

In my book the greatest baller was Malcom Marshall. I met few captains of world cricketing nations in the past .

  • Donald did not have a full career due to apartheid and sadly ended too soon in my opinion. Monster bowler.

  • 10.Richard Hadlee. 9.Joel Garner. 8. Imran Khan 7. Glenn Mcgrath. 6 Malcom Marshall. 5 Mickeal Holding. 4 Wasim Akram. 3 Dennis Lillee. 2 Mutia Murralitharan. 1 Shane Warne.

Fairly handy group, most would say.

Not really an all time list but comparisons are hard enough from 1970 onwards.

Not a single englishman amounst them, however the next best 10 would have at least 3.

  • Also there is too much of an emphasis on bowlers from the 70s onwards... there were arguably better bowlers in the preceding 50 years.

  • Shaun Pollock is not on the same level as Sir Richard Hadlee. Hadlee was better than Younis and Akram too.

  • Forget the Great Richard Hadlee.. Who crosed first 400wickets ... In quick period...

  • aww cmon lets not forget Joel Garner possibly the best bowler to this date..In 98 odi matches he took 146 wickets. He is one of only two players with more than 100 ODI wickets to average under 20, while his economy rate of just over 3 runs per over, and average of less than 20 runs per wicket are also the best ever for any bowler who took more than 100 wickets. this guy was a god

  • Comment removed

  • im aussie but, wheres shoaib aktar?

  • no Holding?

  • look at all the indian fans crying lol

  • @luqman255 ........idiot ....d highest wicket taker in test cricket 4 a long period of time was kapil dev....now dat's lol....and now third highest wkt taker is kumble.....no pakistani no wendies no s.africanshave crossed 600.......taking abut gr8 bowling..only aus,sa,india and now eng have topped icc test team.how ...?we took wc-11 how???ur bowler helped us haaaaan?????/

  • @bantyavi neither kapil dev or kumble are as good as the best pakistani bowlers. Wasim and Waqar blow away any indian bowler, at any time in history.

  • swing bowlers : 1.wasim akram 2.waqar younis 3. sarfraz nawaz 4.imran khan 5. muhammad asif 6.shaun pollock 7. shohaib akhtar 8.danny morisan,9.zumer gul

  • fastest bowlers(not swing) : .1.shohaib akhter 2.shaun tait 3.brett lee 4. waqar 5.malinga 6.coutrney walsh 7.malcolm marshall 8. dale steyn 9. imran khan 10. (not kapil dev sorry)

  • anil kumble ??????????

  • no english bowlers.....botham? willis?

  • shoaib had the talent to be ahead of em all

  • no way warne comes ahead of waqar or donald ahead of marshall,...shame none of them are present

  • where is Kapil Dev?

  • @peterianstaker1 why u swearing at me? cunt head?lmfao among spinners in test yes.. but how come laker took 19 wickets in a single test? his test avg of 21 is better than the likes of others

  • Whr's Walsh???

  • Fast bowlers 1)W.Akram.2)G.Mcgrath.3)W.Yunus.4)C.Vaas.5)B.Lee.6)C.Walse.7)J.Srinath.8)S.Bond. 9)L.Malinga.10)Z.Khan

  • @LEARNISLAMDEEN when on this earth Vass, srinath maligna z.khan b.lee are better than Imran, Marshall, donald, Holding, garner, trueman?
