Can openers were always the worst as a kid! I would always put it on the cans upside down and mom mom would always have to correct me. So I just got adapted to using it right handed. (Until I got an electric one :p )
Im lefty so i never understood why i couldn't cut straight im all so the only one in my family. My parents don't understand that everything is harder for me to do. Bc lefty's have to flip everything in their mind before we do something.
I cannot believe how mean my former boyfriend was to me when I worked in tne kitchen. I kept telling him about left-handed tools. But calling me sloppy was more fun for him.
You won't believe how damaging it is your your arm to be usisng right-handed items with your left hand. Right-handers don't have this problem and cannot possibly understand because everything is made for right-handers.
I dislocated my elbow using my left arm on a right-handed designed coffee machine.
Hmm...for my whole life, I have done everthing but writing and drawing with my right hand. Maybe I'm just ambidexterous? IDK, but I wish there was a Leftorium.
i have to now wonder if i am naturally ambidexterous, or did i just learn to that way overtime.
I write left-handed, eat left-handed (utensils only), cook, and drive. BUT, i do everything else, and I do mean everything else, right-handed. I throw, blow, kick [well right-footed], and whatever else using the right.
i want those kitchen tools, i have learned to adapt to right handed stuff by using my right hand. I wonder how good i would be with left handed stuff. BTW we need left handed mouses and keyboards.
I know, I'd love to have that stuff too. I especially want to try the left handed can opener, because I have to use the right handed one with my right hand.

This is why I couldn't do too well in art/woodshop courses.
Everything is made for righties! The teachers were puzzled why they could make perfect cuts while I couldn't.

I didn't realize that so many utensils were made right handed. I guess I just learned to do certain things right handed so it's not a big deal to me.
