I loved this beer contest phrase how funny indeed ! the idea was not this one I guess ! but y know the presence in NZ in the 2011 contest is becoming quite complicated the first selection games didn't run well, altough for the fist time we winned to Romania ! give yr humoured support to the "Lobos" and I will pay y a beer in NZ and y will see that I can drink without singing the hymn ! take care !
Its only natural that Australia or New Zealand are better than us Portugal, rugby in Portugal is amateur not professional, in this squad we have doctors, engineers, lawyers, who after work go training, so...

I bet that, apart from the All Blacks perhaps, there ain't another National Team in the world that is more passionate that our guys. They are doctors, lawyers, even farmers, that sacrifice their spare time to train hard and be THE ONLY AMMATEUR TEAM TO EVER BE IN A WORLD CUP.
We may not be such strong as many National Team's around (yet) but we have deserved everyone's respect in this World Cup
@neobino The only amateur team ever to be in a world cup? rugby was all amateur until 1996, by which time there had been three world cups. Plus, even in the proffesional era, there have been plenty of amateur teams. Please do some research before posting comments.
But I do say that respect should be given equally to all teams competing in a world cup. theyve all earned the right to be there, and respect is what rugby is all about.
@LjungbergArsenal Every portuguese that has the privilege of calling him self a portuguese.. sing the athem with the same passion ans determination as they do... you might notice mostly in soccer games since rugby we are still amateurs... that whenever our athem is singed... the whole stadium is able to listen to it... and you could try to compare with other countrys athems level of sound ^^
