@fiercex ,No he was okay,it was his body shield and I was testing it.Plus I wasn't kicking it that hard but we wanted to make sure that the product could stand up too.
0:38 that was some kick a real fight it would be the knockout kick/rib smacher. I felt it just by watching excellent!! btw what style do you leanr if you learn kung fu?
Greetings! I watched a coupple of your clips, and they look pretty cool. But I don't see any of your opponents trying to actually resist your attacks. Other than that it's ok.
great stuff!!! Good to see those kicks onto a solid object! Shouldve ripped more kungfu style kicks! Spinning, back, jumping, heel etc! Next one should have these for us!!! thank you loads for sharing.
thanks for sharing, only thing I would say is try to keep to keep your hands up when you kick so you don't expose yourself. But other than that that was some good stuff, nice power
The reason for the arms moving in that way is to get more torque and power into that type of kicking method,Those aren't gung fu kicks however you do expose more of yourself when you do use this method.
So Timing has to be very sharp so that you don't get caught like a deer in the headlights.Plus this was more of a testing the body shield i would never just kick for the sake of kicking.
I know where you are coming from in the eyes of praying mantis and its true in wing chun kicks should be economical and hands covering True,But you are also in a particular range for that.experience has taught me that there is no such thing as a bad technique only bad timing when you get caught :) thanks brother
true about the bad timing. But I'm not just coming from a praying mantis view (I'm a JKD follower) but even something like Muay Thai hands should be kept up. I just think that your guard should always be up unless you're feeling confident enough to let it drop from time to time.
I understand what you are saying about the roundhouse kicks there are some that i do full rotation but i almost have to force the rotation because of the carpet however if i was barefooted or had socks on i could get full rotation on the carpet.Good looking out.

I agree...awesome kicks and one hell of a vest. The power in the kicks was obvious but that is a sturdy vest. What brand and model?
graychuan 3 years ago
The brand name of the vest is Title,I never heard of it But Vut has some nice ones too.

Side kick looked good. Need to be closer on the push kicks. Need to rotate hips more for the roundhouse kicks and you'll get more penetration.
