brings me back *sniff* *sniff* kingdom hearts 1-2 was the best ps2 games ive ever played but now they just keep remaking the story line of kh1 ex:chain of memories,RE:chain of memories,coded,RE:coded. the only new storyline games are bbs and 358/2 days and im not into both of them i really hope they make a remake of kh1 and 2 on 1blu ray disc remade into hd like what they did with god of war 1 and 2 :D

@marcoaranas Chain of memories was actually made before KH2, and it's not a rehash of KH1's plot, in fact, it introduced the Organization and Namine. as for coded, i haven't played it, but apparently it shows what happened to Sora's Heartless.

@Chernobog2 It's almost a retelling of KH1 but with a lil difference. If you know KH!'s story, the you would have no problem "debugging" it. It looks to me like it was just something made for the DS. As far as an actual storyline, there is none really, unless you want to consider it being a "filler".

@jamilajones81 you're talking about coded? it was actually originally for Mobile phones, but Square-Enix knew it would be more marketable for the DS. from what i can tell, the plot could be considered filler... but allegedly it's setting up for KH3. i guess we'll find out for sure when it's released in 500 years.

@Chernobog2 Sure seems like it would be 500 years later right? lol I actually am in the process of playing recoded and I'm at the end, but it doesn't feel like it's in any relation to a KH3. Filler, maybe, or a story that failed to be inserted into the main and for the DS's sake or a phone or whatever they decided to release it for, it's to see if anyone would care to see that part of the story.

@jamilajones81 We never learned who the hacker is. (Sorry for the spoiler) It is another thing that they might elaborate on in Kingdom Hearts 3. Another purpose of recoded was so that they could recover the data recorded in the journal during Kingdom Hearts COM. The game also shows us that Pete and Malificent could be some main enemies of the next major Kingdom Hearts game, like they were in KH2. The hacker I think is probably either Ansem the Wise or the spirit of Terra's Slain Master.
