Read "The Great College Con" in the Feb. 2, 2009 Forbes magazine. College is a roach motel. You enter but you don't leave until they have stolen all of your money. Think outside the box. The box is a roach motel. Maybe college is NOT a good idea.
well, it depends on a few things. Some people, yah, they shouldn't bother going, they're just wasting their time and their, or their parents, money.
On the other hand, for someone like me, who wants to go into accounting, it pays off well to go to college. I mean, they ain't gonna hire you w/out college, and if you get a masters, and in SOME cases a PHD, you get paid a nice bit more. So, depending, it more than pays for itself.
Anything you can...what if they can't do anything due to a bad job market?
I will probably talk to my job, but at this point it's so bad that temp agencies are only available.
I'd like this lady to write a book on how to get out of the debt for the STUDENTS, not for parents. :|
