one thing you gotta notice about vash that makes him so awesome is that he's not actually a complete idiot but rather actually pretty smart, he just acts like an idiot to stay inconspicuous. better to be seen as, oh just some idiot, and practically be passed by then , OH MAN ITS VASH THE STAMPEDE, and get shot at, attacked, avoided, etc. he's a genius ace gunsman in the guise of a complete moron. he's just so awesome.

@dewybmt even more so, he acts like an idiot to keep a wall in front of him. he is rather very smart, but he puts the wall infront of him EMOTIONALLY. If you look at the series in a whole, he's very spiritual and emotional, but only at an arm's length. Basically he pretends to be dumb and not care about anything when he's a genius and cares about everything.

@rakuencallisto yea that too. though essentially the same in all. he keeps people from suspicion but you are right he also keeps his distance if only to keep others safe. it's difficult to tell that part though BECAUSE of his idiotic carefree mask. (which wolfwood almost saw through before he shoved a confessional on vash's head. >.>;) he always openly shows some care for the world and all life. so rather, it's half right. he doesn't hide emotion, rather exaggerate or suppress at times.

The songs from the show are so unique. So much that If I randomly heard it, I would have to scream out " THATS TRIGUN!! This world is made of LOVE AND PEACE!"

Im trying to find the instrument that makes that dog/monkey whooping noise. I cant find a better way to describe it. It almost sounds like someone is making the noise with vocals. But seeing as Ive heard it in other songs, Im wondering if its an interment.

Anyone knows what this is? I cant imagine it being anything other than a wind instrument.

@StraightJacketRED Its a reed instrument, i believe. Reed or wood, i dont remember what its called. It almost looks like a wooden whistle though, and it makes the sound when you slide the slider in the middle up and down lol. Its awesome!

I think something cool is how they used some ideas that were pushed back,and put it in the anime. for instance the episode you just mentioned was actually the manga's original test pilot chapter. kinda like a pilot episode
