  • Why not just piss on it? It would be about the same...

  • what y'all need there is a Blitzfire Step Gun

  • omg if i was there id be using a 10" smooth bore yadda...shut the fuck up about what you would do or use, your not there, your fat asses are parked in front of the computer

  • did the fire die?

  • hahaha, clearly half of you are not firefighters because HE IS USING A 2 1/2

  • your right, fog nozzle would probably be better then the smoothbore these guys are talkin about too. hes doin everything right

  • breakout the smoothbore and the 2 1/2

  • 2 1/2 atleast because that aint doin nothing but pissing it off lol

  • that fire calls for a 2 and half with a smooth bore!

  • Thats what i would do! Piss it off!

  • holy shit dude

  • Nice!

  • That is a "John Bean" high pressure nozzle. I VOL'ed on a department that used them all the time. They are a great tool, but not for every fire. Not this fire for sure. I hope they can use this video to re think some tactics. Stay safe everyone

  • If you don't actually know the Dept or their SOPs, try to have a little bit of "benefit of the doubt".

It's always easier to criticize than to help, or ask "why"....

  • Gun It!!!!!

  • I don't always agree with this but in this case i think it applies "big fire big water"

  • what big water are you talking about?? that looked like about 150 gpm!

  • it is obviously a defensive attack why not a 2 1/2 line flowing 250 gpm ? or perhaps a deluge gun..... manned or unmanned ... we flowed 3000 gallons a minute on a mulch pile fire a month ago with two deluge guns for over 3 hours...hence "big fire big water" .

  • 1 3/4 is a standard attack line for some fire companies

  • What would posses you to use an 1 3/4" line on a fire like this?

  • I agree. Might as well be spitting on it.

  • wow , where was this at?

  • La Mirada, CA, just west of the 5 Fwy off Artesia Blvd...
