shut down the internet and anti viris progrems almost every thing at the bottom right tray on your desktop it runs alot better for me ,reason, those progrems are stilling your cpu if that dosent work then you need a better pc

To make Crysis work at Very High settings in XP do the following:

1. In folder BIN find two files, CryRenderD3D9.dll and CryRenderD3D10.dll

2. Switch their names

3. Then create a shortcut to the file Crysis.exe

4. Go to the shortcut's properties and add "_DX10" at the end of the target line

5. Or, if paragraph 4 failed, then write "_-DX10"

6. Also possible option without space, it all depends on the version

Write without quotes and the "_" substitute for a space!

I have 2 8800gtxs and 2 gigs of ram but my computer still chokes on some parts in the levals of crysis. Does anybody think that if I got 1 more gig and had 3 gigs total that it wouldn't freez?

Kommt drauf an, welchen hardware bzw. grafik karte du hast. Bei nvidia ist dx10 unterstützt ab 8xxx series, bei ATI ab 2xxx.
