series 1, 2 and 3 are now on DVD. i have to say that james dreyfus ruined the whole progame...it was so much better with ardal o'hanlon. and yes i am a BIG fan of fawlty towers aswell.

If Mr. Hutchinson, the first, fake hotel inspector, from the "Hotel Inspectors" episode of FT ever had to go to the Northolt Health Centre and face the downs there, guess what. He would've snapped, "THIS HEALTH CENTRE'S POORLY RUN AND U R A VERY RUDE, DISCOURTEOUS MAN, DR. CRISPIN!" the way he snapped at Basil.
The name of this show is "My Hero." It's about a guy named George Sunday who's known as a superhero named Thermoman. He's in a romantic relationship with Janet Dawkins, a friendly nurse who works at the Northolt Health Center. The people she works with are Mrs. Raven, a snippy receptionist, and Dr. Crispin, a foolish, conceited physician.
Aw man, I loooove Mrs. Raven 2. The way she tips off and terrorizes her patients cracks me up 'cuz this character makes me think about how nice the receptionist is @ my doctor's office. I'm really lucky to know that. If she were working @ my doctor's office, I wouldn't be real scared of her.
shame to. I watched it on PBS so when we are seening the show for the first time it is a year after the fact, anyway I we must not be the only two because they canceled the show. One of the shows was funny though. Can't rember witch one.
BBC what on earth made you think you could stop making My Hero? by far the best comedy show the BBC have had in a long time.

Hugh Dennis rocks, as for Mrs Raven, she's funny although when she mentioned the triplet's it made me wonder why I never saw them on TV
