nice vid! i made it to internationals for principles of marketing and i have most of the big things down but need to work on the little things.. any specific tips for wowing the judge?
@thinkaboutissues Congrats on the win buddy! I wish you all the best! At internationals, just make sure you have an amazing opening and closing. The judge needs to remember you out of the other 200 competitors and you can achieve this with a unique entrance and exit. Refer to the posts below to see what you can do differently :)
nice video! im currently in my second year for DECA ontario, and i really need some tips and tricks so that i can do well at regionals. last year i made it to provincials and was close to making it in the top 20 in my category, but this year my goal is make it in the top 20 and hopefully in the top 5 at regionals. do you mind helping me? i really need to some tips and tricks so that i can do well! thanks , =)
There are over 200 people just like you talking about the same thing as you. My tip would be to make yourself stand out. You have to give an impression so that the judge remembers you. One suggestion would be to introduce your presentation along the lines of:
"Hello Sir,
I received your email and am proposing a plan that will bring success to your company and increase the customer satisfaction."
Phrases like these can help you and make you stand out in the judge's eyes

Hi bud,
Don't worry if you did not receive top 10 because more people actually go to provincials than just the top 10 winners.
If however, you do not qualify for provincials, you can always switch to written events.
