  • lol this is the same theory my art teacher thought- he said to us the leo divincci was gay and mona lisa was himself painted as a women which apparently he wished he was ( btw my art teacher was also gay)

  • you can do this with alot of people....... lots of em have same face guide lines.....

  • What i see is a perfect fit of length between nose tip and lips in both. The rest doesn't fit in any way. Different nose shape, different skull shape and size... He painted a freaking girl and now the whole world needs to discover so secret shit about it, Really? We ran out of interesting things to find?

  • @salahhe I agree. Respect! Leave Mona Lisa alone!

  • seems very possoble this is true, i believe it ^_^

  • Lorenzo de Medici and Leonardo were paternal half brothers? who knows... read about Leonardo's origins and family.. Lisa Gherardini, Mona Lisa, was lover of Giuliano, son of Lorenzo de Medici.

  • Do you guys think he was a cross-dresser?

  • i killed him.... in AC2 :)

  • @KJason98 );

  • @KJason98 no u didnt stewies evil brother killed him family guy

  • Mona Lisa was a pregnant woman who came to Da Vinci, wanting a painting of herself. The end.

  • @cruise2dreamland No she was the wife of a man Leo worked for when he was 14.

  • he used the same technique when he made portrait, nothin special that they came out with similarities

  • @belumx lol yeah

  • leonardo is all like derp

  • How did I came here from Uncharted?

  • Okay, this is what most people would figure Mona Lisa is a creepy girls name, but since this could be a self portrait, Leo DOES sound close to Lisa (Leo-Lisa) however, Mona could have been someone who "helped" him make this masterpiece. I doubt it but thank you for reading my conclusion.

  • I'm not sure, but this could be a case of same-face syndrom, like it happens with a lot of people who draw or paint. It means that if you do portraits of many different people, they will sometimes look more alike than they do in real life, because of cultural and personal beauty standards, how you personally percieve a persons face and so on. It happens to the most talented painters, so maybe that's what's going on, but of course, that's just an idea.

  • dam i always had hear in my fantasy.. i most bee ga...???

    so my question is, why?

  • Thanks for the upload, I always said thats what her smile was hiding, that It was Leonardo himself, I got in trouble in the 80's because I said this to a teacher! Thanks!

  • @msimec redneck

  • This just can't be true its a her. not a man. what idiot can come up with that its that merchant guys wife lisa Lisa del Giocondo. this is bull

  • Runescape music! :o

  • Food for thought... Please consider, prior to the 19th century biographies of DaVinci, no one believed the popular so-called 'self portrait" to be of Leonardo. Compare the signed drawing of DaVinci and judge if those are indeed the same person. Leonardo was 40 yrs old when the 'self-portrait' drawing was done. But, DaVinci was painted repeatedly in Renaissance art. To see DaVinci's face as painted by his friend Bernardino Luini, pls see my vid & judge for yourself. thx

    ck the links also.

  • What if leonardo had a pre-set measurment for all faces he drew? Meaning the nose, eyes, etc., would be in the same place as other faces.

  • @StefanSu91 its called sacred geometry!

  • @StefanSu91 the eyes dnt match up

  • @StefanSu91 He simply used Phi. The Perfect ratio and if you body is 100% to Phi, Every single person on earth will agree your beautiful. Phi is the ratio for beauty, and the ratio for life

  • @StefanSu91 Thats a big what IF...

  • @StefanSu91 would be rare to have a pre-set that would match so equaly

  • @HikaruNoIkaros Aren't pre-sets made to match as equally as possible?

  • @StefanSu91 I believe it's called the golden ratio.

  • @StefanSu91

he did its called the golden ratio

  • @StefanSu91 There were pre-set measurements in all of the renaissance paintings as far as I observe in terms of women. They all have large eyes with no eyelashes, thin eyebrows and sometimes no eyebrows, full, curvy bodies, extremely pale skin, broad chins, curly hair, elegant hand gestures... etc.

  • @StefanSu91

As a matter of fact, he did: His own face. He was somewhat of a narcisist.

  • @StefanSu91 Every artist has a basic canon which they apply to portraits. I think it's silly how scientists without artistic training assume that this semblance to one of his self-portaits is evidence that the Mona Lisa is a self-portrait in disguise.

  • Runescape Music.

  • no way!! the nose is completely different

  • check out my leonardo speed drawing

  • never, leonardo starts the picture when he was young,

  • this is weird
