Sorry for the frankness..... but hell no I don't regret it at all. I could have had many of the health problems I do now if I had lost the weight in a "normal' way. I could still have had hernias that required multiple surgeries. But I don't asthma issues anymore (huge for me), I also don't have to take half of the meds I did before for other chronic conditions I had before the surgery. I also was about to be put no insulin, not anymore. Best of luck!!! take care - jenn
Glad you have peace of mind with your test results. I'l bet the doctor just stretched enough so food could make its way into your small intestine at the right rate. Be well!
When I tell people or they found out I has GBS they say "you don't look like you had GBS" And I give them a blank stare usually. I am don't know what to say. I have no idea what it means.
Hi Jenn, I'll bet what those people mean to convey is that you don't look like you need GBS... Well, duh, that is because it was successful. And, you do not have extra skin. They certainly cannot look at you and think you look heavy!
Im glad to hear that it isnt an ulcer. They had to stretch my stomach too. As for being a control freak hun your not alone. Im the same way. Im surprise my husband puts up with it. lol your looking good and love the hair.
I'm very happy, too. I was surprised they had to strech it. I didn't think there was a problem. But it was a pretty bad restriction. Who knew? I guess I was doing a good job chewing. take care - jenn
I just love your hair wavy :) Thanks for giving us a update...it's good to see you no matter where you are at...feeling good or feeling like crap! It's life, right? Take care!
Thanks. If I had to use one word to describe what I want for my YT channel it would be honest. I think I have done that, the good, the bad, and definately the ugly. And yes, such is life. take care - jenn
I try to be as pro-active about my health as possible. I figure I can face just about any health issue, as long as I know what it is and I research as much as I can about it, plus I have wonderful doctors. take care - jenn
Well, it turns out I don't have an ulcer. WOOHOO! But I had way to much restriction. So they used a balloon to dilate the opening at the bottom of my pouch leading to my intestines. And I probably had a bad stomach virus last week, so that wasn't helping the situation. take care - jenn
Oh my, when will it end? You must be so tired of having "something wrong". I do feel for you. I hope they find something that can be easily fixed so you can feel better.
Well, ya know I don't regret having my WLS, but I kinda feel like I traded one set of health issues for another set. I hope that if something is found (I'm in the waiting room right now) that it is easy to fix. And that I get a break for awhile. take care - jenn
