I just bought the Lush ocean salt and tea tree water and the sibu moisturizer, I'm in heaven. I already see a difference on my face. Thank you so much for your recs. But I was wondering what do you do for spf during the day?
@michele1218 I know e.l.f. has one but they don't sell it at target, but I'm not sure if it'd work since their concealer breaks me out. Do you know of a good concealer? Also, I got the e.l.f. facial shimmering whip, and I'm not sure if I should apply it after my powder foundation or before, or even before or after my bronzer or blush.
This video is so extremely helpful. Many thanks for your time in putting this together. Just a suggestion as an alternative, try Yes to Cucumbers, Almay or Boots face wipes as they are cruelty free (now that I know you're into that :))! <3
I just ordered 3 bars of the sibu soap and got it in the mail today.. LOVE LOVE!!! woot @ clarisonic! so neat we have at least a couple skin care items in common! great vid!
What happened to the cruelty-free video you had posted? I found it really informative and wanted to reference back to something I saw and wanted to look up. :(
Was on the all cosmetics web site today and saw the clinique cream cleanser for $.4.99 . I am sure you know this, but in case others don't know this info I wanted to share :-) I thought that was pretty cheap.

parabens in small doses arent as bad as one might think, consider this...
Methylparaben is naturally occurring in blueberries! This particular preservative
in small doses(most products contain less than 1%) does nothing but keep you safe from extremely harmful pathogens. when I went looking for a completely sulfate paraben free skin regimen at a natural store the Naturopathic Physician said it all depends on the preservative,if its synthetic, the amount in the product.
@ayieshastewart Methyl paraben is not a proven carcinogenic ....after doing some research(not just from the internet) I found so many conflicting studies about anti-paraben beliefs. Synthetic parabens I stay away from but I am using an natural cleanser and it contains 0.01% methylparaben BUT it also only lists 6 ingredients that I can find in my kitchen then I know its pretty natural MAC has all sorts of parabens in most of its products...and we will continue to buy from them! lol
If you want to go even more natural, you should try using jojoba oil as a makeup remover [and as a deep conditioner/overnight moisturizer if your skin is unusually dry]. It's a little messier than using a makeup wipe, but they work really well, it's multipurpose, and it's probably as natural as you could get! And of course, cheap!
Since you're concerned about Parabens, I thought you might like to know that the grease lightning, dream cream even ocean salt as well as some others have parabens! Methyl- & Propylparaben....usually the last 2 ingredients..I just thought you would wanna know :(
OMG i dont understand why people are paying $200 or more for that clarisonic when theres things out there that are IDENTICAL and are a fraction of the cost!
I have just bought the clinique 3 step skin care routine. I see you use the clinique moisturizer. Have you ever used all 3 products? If so, what are your thoughts about them? Thanks, ;)
Hey love! I ADORE the Victoria's Secret makeup remover, but they discontinued it! I am so upset because I LOVE it for removing my eye makeup! Great video, again. So glad you are back! xoxo
you should try the costco brand of makeup wipes...kirkland daily facial cleansers u get like four packs of 150 wipes i thinkkk and then two travel packs
Bare minerals doesnt have a new line coming out, its new packaging and some new products. Dont worry I'm pretty sure the blemish therapy isnt going anywhere
oh my gosh michele, i was looking on the e.o.s website and they have a new hand cream in this really cool packaging! thought i'd let you know on this video, haha, all natural ;)
@twilightluver098 Clarisonic Mia is the travel brush and significantly cheaper than the Plus. Plus has more speeds to choose from that I like, that's why I bought that one.
@twilightluver098 The mia has only two speeds I believe and the plus has 3-4 depending which edition of the clarisonic plus you have, since they recently came out with a newer version that has 4 speeds and a body brush as well.

i had the same problem with the clinique 3 step routine, the toner or the liquid 'exfoliator' as the girl at the counter told me it was, really dryed out my skin, even making it cracked in areas. love your videos :)
Have you ever tried goat milk soap? I think you would really like it - I too want natural skincare products and the soap from Goat Milk Stuff is AMAZING! They smell amazing, are natural and leave my skin so soft and smooth. They are really affordable too! I love your videos - so happy your back!! =)
I love the Clinique comforting cream cleanser, just picked it up at Ulta! I also like the Lancome Galatee Confort (it is very similar and great for dry skin, it is a lot thinner than the Clinique). How do you like the Benefit Bella Bamba? I am debating it - I have Coralista and LOVE it... is Bella Bamba a need-to-buy? Great video! And you look lovely as always!!
So glad you are back!! Just wanted to tell you I tried the Loreal Hip mascara and I LOVE it!! Thanks for the tip on that! Soooo happy as I have tried like 8 in the last 4 months or so trying to find the one I like best! Thanks again!

Thank you. I am allergic to sulfates. When I use shampoo with sulfates my scalp breaks out in white pussy little bumps. It is really awful. Maybe you could do a video on haircare products for people with sensitive scalps. Thanks!

What exactly do you mean when you say a product is "natural"? Do you mean those particular products have no harmful ingredients in them?
I've never checked out iviscents but I'm going to now. Thx.
Petrolatum or petroleum jelly/vaseline is an ingredient in so many products, esp. moisturizers. I've thrown out quite a few lotions this past week. The honey salve and the other one you mention in this video have petrolatum in them. Petroleum moisturizes great but isn't very healthy for us.
i used to suffer in adult acne, i gave up trying products that will make your acne go away, then i started using natural products, now my skin is better, still have some pimple once in a while, but my skin is way better! i used say yes to cucumber wipes to remove my make up, then i will use my clarisonic w/ caress bar soap, since i have super oily skin i use toner, im usig dickinsons natural witch hazel, the smell is not so good, but its helping my skin!
oh my god i cant believe as a paraben free girl you still havent tried liz earle! you have to try it, especially the cleanse & polish, its a cult product here in the uk, and also her superbalm if you like the mac one! oh and her shampoo and cond - sulfate free! try it michele youll love it xxx
The Rare Minerals line is becoming the new Bare Minerals Skincare line. Same stuff, new name!!! The only product that is being discontinued it seems is the Rare Minerals Mist.
Michele, There are 3 levels of the clinique clarifying lotion, the gentlest one is alcohol free.I used to work for the company.
I am an esthetician and have been very into making my own fresh products lately including toner. You can find great recipes online using simple things like witch hazel, rose water and green tea.
You can't imagine how much I enjoy watching your videos. It's one of my favorite past times, by far my favorite 'guru'... Although I've yet to get a reply on any of my comments
Hey Michele! I just got the Mia yesterday as a birthday gift from my husband, I couldnt wait till Monday to use it so I used it already LOL! anyway, I love it! I don't know if I'm crazy but I noticed a difference in my pore appearance already. My skin is really dry though and it did feel tight after cleansing with it but I used my Protopic (prescription ointment for DRY skin), then it felt great! I will try the clinique cleanser. xo Michele
I really enjoyed this video!! It's always interesting to see what others use to keep their skin looking good. I had acne all throughout highschool and tried every possible acne treatment there was. Of course nothing worked, so I decided to just wash my face with a simple face wash that's soap free, non comedogenic etc. and my face instantly cleared up.
Lately the only issues I've been having are with dry skin. bboo. I think I will forever be in search of the perfect moisturizer.
Ahhh, well... I was sceptic about that Clinique dramatically different line but because everybody talks about it here, but if you recommended it then it must be good. =) I guess I'll go and try it next time I ran out of my current wash&moisturizer! Thanks for making this video!
@boogihoff Sulfates can be drying/irritating to the skin. Parabens are a bit iffy, some research shows them being bad and carcinogenic, while other research claims parabens are harmless.
1) Sibu only ships the US and Canada on their website -do you know an international site?? I really want to try this! I have the Clinique moisturizer now but wanna try Sibu!
2) How much is the Bobbi Brown eye cream?
3) I am SO getting the Clearisonic Mia - saving up for it - need to have it shipped internationally etc -so it's my b-day gift in March;)
4) Toner: I recommend The Body Shop Sea Weed Toner - love it!
5) Really wanna try the VS make up remover!! I use the CG Waterproof Lash Blast and it's HARD to get of w normal cleansers, I use a Danish brand, which is the ONLY one I can get this mascara completely off w!
6) Been loving the Cetaphil liquid face cleanser for a year and a half now!! LOVE! But I have still to try the lotion - ALWAYS seem to return to the Clinique Dramatically Moisturizer!!
Love your product choices and can't wait to try some of your recommendations. I actually love Clinique Clarifying lotion and have been using it for close to 15 years. It is a liquid exfoliant so if you use it too vigorously it will irritate the skin like any exfoliant would.
Thanks so much for this video! I just purchased a Mia because you raved about it, and I'm so excited to use it. I definitely have added all the products you mentioned to my shopping list. :)
Michele, thank you so much for taking the time to do these types of video. I wanna buy everything you use because your skin is so flawless. I can't wait till I receive my sibu products. :)
I am thinking about getting the clarisonic mia but i don't know if it is good enough for cleaning my body also because the mia only has one speed setting..would you say it works perfectly fine for that also or should i get one of the other clarisonic...?
try the clinique Mild toner. they dont really advertise it but my uncle who is a dermatologist recommended it to me. its alcohol free, slightly moisturizing and it has .5 salicylic acid in it so it exfoliates lightly and prevents acne. the other clinique toners except the moisture surge one is horrible for any skin types.
Jason Organics Body Wash is an awesome and natural alternative. Also KORRES Yoghurt Face Cream~ my HG moisturiser~ LOVE it! MYCHELLE Dermaceuticals has amazing skincare as well. : )
Can you tell me what Sibu products you would recommend for combo t zone skin? I want a moisturizer and an eye cream. Thanks

GO NATURAL !!!!!
i used to suffer in adult acne, i gave up trying products that will make your acne go away, then i started using natural products, now my skin is better, still have some pimple once in a while, but my skin is way better! i used say yes to cucumber wipes to remove my make up, then i will use my clarisonic w/ caress bar soap, since i have super oily skin i use toner, im usig dickinsons natural witch hazel, the smell is not so good, but its helping my skin!

The Rare Minerals line is becoming the new Bare Minerals Skincare line. Same stuff, new name!!! The only product that is being discontinued it seems is the Rare Minerals Mist.
littletidbit30 1 year ago
The new Bare Minerals line will have a tag line "with rare minerals active soil complex".

there is actually an alcohol-free version for the clinique toner I believe.

Why are parobins bad? I just looked and all my lotions have it :/

I have been using the ivi scents ever since you first mentioned it long ago, they are fantastic. Thanks for all the great ideas.

Michele, There are 3 levels of the clinique clarifying lotion, the gentlest one is alcohol free.I used to work for the company.
I am an esthetician and have been very into making my own fresh products lately including toner. You can find great recipes online using simple things like witch hazel, rose water and green tea.

Thank you for this video, it was really helpful.
Will there be a hair care routine in the near future?

It totally makes sense to use two facial cleansers. I have done it before and it helps.

where can you get sibu products from in the UK?

@simarjitubhi Look online at victoriahealth (.com). They should have all or most of our products.

I will try the clinique cleanser. xo Michele

I'm surprised you mentioned vasoline in passing. I'm trying that carrot line currently, like the cleanser.
tammimarie 1 year ago
about the clinique toner, you just have to get the one for dry sensitive skin that one doesn't contain alcohol or at least much less.

Can you explain why sulfate and paraben (sp?) are bad, my favorite shampoo has sulfate in it! Thanks
boogihoff 1 year ago
@boogihoff Sulfates can be drying/irritating to the skin. Parabens are a bit iffy, some research shows them being bad and carcinogenic, while other research claims parabens are harmless.

hi michelle
Skincare videos are the best ever;)
a few thoughts:
1) Sibu only ships the US and Canada on their website -do you know an international site?? I really want to try this! I have the Clinique moisturizer now but wanna try Sibu!
2) How much is the Bobbi Brown eye cream?
3) I am SO getting the Clearisonic Mia - saving up for it - need to have it shipped internationally etc -so it's my b-day gift in March;)
4) Toner: I recommend The Body Shop Sea Weed Toner - love it!
xoxo

5) Really wanna try the VS make up remover!! I use the CG Waterproof Lash Blast and it's HARD to get of w normal cleansers, I use a Danish brand, which is the ONLY one I can get this mascara completely off w!
6) Been loving the Cetaphil liquid face cleanser for a year and a half now!! LOVE! But I have still to try the lotion - ALWAYS seem to return to the Clinique Dramatically Moisturizer!!
7) Wanna try iviscents body frostings!
;) You're the best;)
Great video!!

I am thinking about getting the clarisonic mia but i don't know if it is good enough for cleaning my body also because the mia only has one speed setting..would you say it works perfectly fine for that also or should i get one of the other clarisonic...?
juanita10313 1 year ago
try the clinique Mild toner. they dont really advertise it but my uncle who is a dermatologist recommended it to me. its alcohol free, slightly moisturizing and it has .5 salicylic acid in it so it exfoliates lightly and prevents acne. the other clinique toners except the moisture surge one is horrible for any skin types.

you should try ARBONNE
i hiiiiighly recommend it
