  • Can you tell me what Sibu products you would recommend for combo t zone skin? I want a moisturizer and an eye cream. Thanks

  • @bibibella69 I would try their Day and Night Cream and their Serum. Their eye cream is nice, but its nothing special

  • This was so helpful! Is the Eden soap bar sold at drugstores?

  • @MsBoliqua I*m not sure....perhaps if you google it it you can find where you can purchase

  • Awesome, going to order it! Thanks for the quick reply!!

  • Do you like the Sibu eye cream as much as the bobbi brown one?

  • @TheNicoli89 Yes I do...purely because of packaging!

  • some lush products are not paraben free. I think the sea salt is not paraben free.

  • lush uses parabens :(

  • I went to vs and they dc the vs makeup remover!!!!! :(

  • I really wanted to get the Sibu Facial Soap but shipping to Canada is $18 :(

  • @Cheekameeka333 i saw the sibu line it at the whole foods and rexall in vancouver, canada :)

  • why is the blouse moving on the rigth? :O

    it creeps me out!

  • do you use a serum? i'm in the market for a new serum..

  • @laurenalamode I use the Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil from Sibu...AMAZING

  • You are so amazing to watch ur my fav guru

  • What??? Really???!!!??? Yay you're baaacccckkk. That's great. You were sorely missed.

  • I thought I'd tell you since you are aware of parabens that Tea Tree Oil and Lavender both have inflammatory and estrogenic properties as well.

  • I just bought the Lush ocean salt and tea tree water and the sibu moisturizer, I'm in heaven. I already see a difference on my face. Thank you so much for your recs. But I was wondering what do you do for spf during the day?

  • @MsBeverlyStar thank you! I actually don't use SPF regularly....

  • What kind of cheap product do you recommend to prevent eyeshadow from wearing of throughout the day?

  • @PicklesVSPeanuts I*m not sure...I haven't found a drugstore primer yet..

  • @michele1218 I know e.l.f. has one but they don't sell it at target, but I'm not sure if it'd work since their concealer breaks me out. Do you know of a good concealer? Also, I got the e.l.f. facial shimmering whip, and I'm not sure if I should apply it after my powder foundation or before, or even before or after my bronzer or blush.

  • @PicklesVSPeanuts favorite concealer is bobbi brown creamy concealer and always apply your highlighter last!

  • You look so much like Mila Kunis! :)

  • i saw tht u use the tea tree from lush, it's meant for oily skin so it might dry u up.. just fyi :)

  • This video is so extremely helpful. Many thanks for your time in putting this together. Just a suggestion as an alternative, try Yes to Cucumbers, Almay or Boots face wipes as they are cruelty free (now that I know you're into that :))! <3

  • I just ordered 3 bars of the sibu soap and got it in the mail today.. LOVE LOVE!!! woot @ clarisonic! so neat we have at least a couple skin care items in common! great vid!

  • @ginabinawina99

And Sibu Beauty loves GinaBinaWina99 too!

  • Looking forward to your new vid =)

  • would you recommend palmers cocoa lotion?

  • @lina588 yes, LOVE it!!

  • @lina588 it contains parabens

  • What happened to the cruelty-free video you had posted? I found it really informative and wanted to reference back to something I saw and wanted to look up. :(

  • The mild Clarifying Lotion contains no alcohol.

Do you mind that the Bobbi Brown eye cream contains parabens?

  • Was on the all cosmetics web site today and saw the clinique cream cleanser for $.4.99 . I am sure you know this, but in case others don't know this info I wanted to share :-) I thought that was pretty cheap.

  • @breychristopher it's only 1oz, it's from the gift with purchase.

  • I was just trying to find your animal cruelty video to show someone but it's gone... what happened?

    :(

  • @fromalbiontoarcadia She took it down.

  • i use baby wipes hehe

  • What happened to your cruelty-free video???

  • @cari48038 maybe she started gettng threats from cosmetic co. Btw I contacted elf, they sent me an email that they dont have any animal by products in their cosmetics. Only their main line brushes have horse hair, rest are synthetic and all mineral makeup is paraben free. They also said to look at ingredients online. If ur into vegatarian cosmetic, pass this along.

  • is she indian?

  • @soblahblah i believe she's said she is part greek

  • Do you know any good drugstore eye creams?

  • I really want to get into the natural products because of you! Thanks for the video and your ring looks great! xoxo

  • just bought the well rested because of your review, omg im in love<33333 i respect your opinion so much and hold it in highest reguard. again thank you so much for coming back to youtube=)

  • about how much is the clinique cleanser at the cco?

  • awesome video!

  • hahahaha i laughed out loud when you said "i wanna talk about my body"!!

  • Can you explain why you don't like using products with parabens or sulphates in them? What's bad about them?

  • parabens in small doses arent as bad as one might think, consider this...

Methylparaben is naturally occurring in blueberries! This particular preservative

in small doses(most products contain less than 1%) does nothing but keep you safe from extremely harmful pathogens. when I went looking for a completely sulfate paraben free skin regimen at a natural store the Naturopathic Physician said it all depends on the preservative,if its synthetic, the amount in the product.

  • @ayieshastewart Methyl paraben is not a proven carcinogenic ....after doing some research(not just from the internet) I found so many conflicting studies about anti-paraben beliefs. Synthetic parabens I stay away from but I am using an natural cleanser and it contains 0.01% methylparaben BUT it also only lists 6 ingredients that I can find in my kitchen then I know its pretty natural MAC has all sorts of parabens in most of its products...and we will continue to buy from them! lol

  • MAC cream blushes are being discontinued!!

I know you like them, so I thought I'd let you know! :)

  • Again, it's so pleasing to see you back on YT. Best wishes for a happy 2011.

  • If you want to go even more natural, you should try using jojoba oil as a makeup remover [and as a deep conditioner/overnight moisturizer if your skin is unusually dry]. It's a little messier than using a makeup wipe, but they work really well, it's multipurpose, and it's probably as natural as you could get! And of course, cheap!

  • Try Say Yes to Cucumbers make-up removing wipes, they're organic, for sensitive skin and smell fresh. I <3 them! Thanks for the vids Michele!

  • I love that nail polish! i am wearing it now too :-)

  • Since you're concerned about Parabens, I thought you might like to know that the grease lightning, dream cream even ocean salt as well as some others have parabens! Methyl- & Propylparaben....usually the last 2 ingredients..I just thought you would wanna know :(

  • Comment removed

  • Lush Grease Lightning and Tea Tree toner made break out :(

  • can you use the cibu facial bar without the clairsonic? (obviously you can) but will it work as well?

  • I dont find the tea tree water does anything for my skin. I just use it as a refresher now, not as a toner.

  • if i am 13 and have dark circles, would the bobbi brown be appropriate??

  • the VS r discontinued .....so sad

  • what does parabens and sulphates do to your skin???

  • Love this makeup look on you! I guess this is the shade of Glamor doll eyes shadow that you helped create? It suits you! Also love the jewelery!

  • what do you use for your sunscreen?

  • hair care routine?? :)

  • I love the grease lightning also!!

  • OMG i dont understand why people are paying $200 or more for that clarisonic when theres things out there that are IDENTICAL and are a fraction of the cost!

  • I have just bought the clinique 3 step skin care routine. I see you use the clinique moisturizer. Have you ever used all 3 products? If so, what are your thoughts about them? Thanks, ;)

  • Is jake alright after eating that sibu soap?

  • i cant stand the smell of mac wipes either!

  • Hey love! I ADORE the Victoria's Secret makeup remover, but they discontinued it! I am so upset because I LOVE it for removing my eye makeup! Great video, again. So glad you are back! xoxo

  • Hey Michele, do you know of any good drug store liquid concealers?

  • are you repurchasing the ivi scents body frosting since your about to runout?

  • you should try the costco brand of makeup wipes...kirkland daily facial cleansers u get like four packs of 150 wipes i thinkkk and then two travel packs

  • why don't you want to use parabens?

  • thanks will be purchasing a lot of these. :-)

  • Bare minerals doesnt have a new line coming out, its new packaging and some new products. Dont worry I'm pretty sure the blemish therapy isnt going anywhere

  • oh my gosh michele, i was looking on the e.o.s website and they have a new hand cream in this really cool packaging! thought i'd let you know on this video, haha, all natural ;)

  • whats the difference between the clarasonic mia and the clarasonic plus?

  • @twilightluver098 Clarisonic Mia is the travel brush and significantly cheaper than the Plus. Plus has more speeds to choose from that I like, that's why I bought that one.

  • @twilightluver098 The mia has only two speeds I believe and the plus has 3-4 depending which edition of the clarisonic plus you have, since they recently came out with a newer version that has 4 speeds and a body brush as well.

  • @twilightluver098 The mia has only two speeds I believe and the plus has 3-4 depending which edition of the clarisonic plus you have, since they recently came out with a newer version that has 4 speeds and a body brush as well.

  • @twilightluver098 People, use google !!!

  • @twilightluver098 the plus has programmed settings and a charging cradle while the mia is for travel and has 1 setting plus a cord plugged to it...I have the plus and highly recommend it! Totally worth the extra money!

  • @twilightluver098 the clarasonic mia is smaller.

  • @twilightluver098 the plus is bigger and can be used for your body.

  • @twilightluver098 clarasonic plus has more settings and you can also use it for your body.

  • @twilightluver098 mia is a mini version, smaller and less pricey

  • @twilightluver098 Clarisonic Mia is cheaper it's $149 and the Clarisonic Plus is $225,and The Mia only has 1 speed and the Plus has 3.

  • @twilightluver098 the plus also comes with a body brush attachment with its own speed

  • @twilightluver098 Mia is smaller, Plus is bigger&comes with more.

  • i had the same problem with the clinique 3 step routine, the toner or the liquid 'exfoliator' as the girl at the counter told me it was, really dryed out my skin, even making it cracked in areas. love your videos :)

  • I love natural products as well. Have you tried Origins? :)

  • so glad you are back, love your videos. You look very pretty in this video ;)

  • you should check out tata harper skincare. its all natural and worth every penny!

  • Have you ever tried goat milk soap? I think you would really like it - I too want natural skincare products and the soap from Goat Milk Stuff is AMAZING! They smell amazing, are natural and leave my skin so soft and smooth. They are really affordable too! I love your videos - so happy your back!! =)

  • can you explain why you avoid parabens? x

  • I love the Clinique comforting cream cleanser, just picked it up at Ulta! I also like the Lancome Galatee Confort (it is very similar and great for dry skin, it is a lot thinner than the Clinique). How do you like the Benefit Bella Bamba? I am debating it - I have Coralista and LOVE it... is Bella Bamba a need-to-buy? Great video! And you look lovely as always!!

  • I love your nail color. I am on the no-buy nail polish for 2011. I so want this Chanel Black Pearl.

  • what camera do you use?

  • So glad you are back!! Just wanted to tell you I tried the Loreal Hip mascara and I LOVE it!! Thanks for the tip on that! Soooo happy as I have tried like 8 in the last 4 months or so trying to find the one I like best! Thanks again!

  • your nail polish is gorgeous

  • what makeup are you wearing it just looks so beautiful. can you do a tutorial? thanks

  • does the clinique moisturizer have parabens?????

  • *LOVE* Think I'm going to try the sibu cleanser now.

  • great video michelle!! love all your videos! love that you try not to use products with sulfates and parabins in them!

    xx

  • please do a makeup tutorial on this neutral eye look, its very classy and sophisticated.

  • hey there, i didn't know you started making vids again. :)

  • I absolutely love you and your videos! I am soo happy you decided to come back :D Happy New Year Michele!

  • Hey Michele!

    Fab video!

I like all the items you showed. I've recently given Clinique's 1, 2, 3 step system a go and I TOTALLY agree with you about the toner. I couldn't believe it when I first tried it. I'm like 'this is going to help me?' lol...but I just use it on my problem areas... not all over my face!

  • Thank you Michele for sharing and it is always a pleasure to watch your videos. I loved watching your jewelery favorites maybe you can make another in the future.

  • Thank you. I am allergic to sulfates. When I use shampoo with sulfates my scalp breaks out in white pussy little bumps. It is really awful. Maybe you could do a video on haircare products for people with sensitive scalps. Thanks!

  • parabens are not harmful, people are just told that so that they are pushed to buy the so called paraben free brands

  • Just wanted to say i ordered the bare minerals well rested based on your reccomendations im super excited about it! I will let you know how it turns out!

  • Hi Michele! I lovee your videos your such an inspiration and I'm so happy that your back!! Oh and can I request an updated most worn/favorite jewelry or a what's in my bag video. Or bag collection. I love your taste. And I know you made old videos of those but you haven't posted them up. So if you could I would love to see an updated version. Thank you so much! Kristine -3

  • i love your vids, but I can't get over how many products you use to maintain good skin, my God talk about high maintance!!

  • What exactly do you mean when you say a product is "natural"? Do you mean those particular products have no harmful ingredients in them?

I've never checked out iviscents but I'm going to now. Thx.

Petrolatum or petroleum jelly/vaseline is an ingredient in so many products, esp. moisturizers. I've thrown out quite a few lotions this past week. The honey salve and the other one you mention in this video have petrolatum in them. Petroleum moisturizes great but isn't very healthy for us.

  • ive heard louffas are really bad. They sit there wet and breed tons of bacteria.

  • GO NATURAL !!!!!

i used to suffer in adult acne, i gave up trying products that will make your acne go away, then i started using natural products, now my skin is better, still have some pimple once in a while, but my skin is way better! i used say yes to cucumber wipes to remove my make up, then i will use my clarisonic w/ caress bar soap, since i have super oily skin i use toner, im usig dickinsons natural witch hazel, the smell is not so good, but its helping my skin!

  • oh my god i cant believe as a paraben free girl you still havent tried liz earle! you have to try it, especially the cleanse & polish, its a cult product here in the uk, and also her superbalm if you like the mac one! oh and her shampoo and cond - sulfate free! try it michele youll love it xxx

  • Do you use Sunscreen? If so what brand?

    Thanks!

  • Best video evert thanksssss

  • my bff got the clairosonic thingamajig 4 xmas

  • Jake eating your cleanser cracked me up

  • The Rare Minerals line is becoming the new Bare Minerals Skincare line. Same stuff, new name!!! The only product that is being discontinued it seems is the Rare Minerals Mist.

  • The new Bare Minerals line will have a tag line "with rare minerals active soil complex".

  • there is actually an alcohol-free version for the clinique toner I believe.

  • Why are parobins bad? I just looked and all my lotions have it :/

  • I have been using the ivi scents ever since you first mentioned it long ago, they are fantastic. Thanks for all the great ideas.

  • Michele, There are 3 levels of the clinique clarifying lotion, the gentlest one is alcohol free.I used to work for the company.

I am an esthetician and have been very into making my own fresh products lately including toner. You can find great recipes online using simple things like witch hazel, rose water and green tea.

  • Thank you for this video, it was really helpful.

Will there be a hair care routine in the near future?

  • It totally makes sense to use two facial cleansers. I have done it before and it helps.

  • yay for parabenfree products! :D

  • You can't imagine how much I enjoy watching your videos. It's one of my favorite past times, by far my favorite 'guru'... Although I've yet to get a reply on any of my comments 

  • I really enjoy your videos. They cheer me up now that things have been not so good lateley;-(

  • michele - loving the bella bamba on you! yum!

  • i'm so happy you came back to make videos!!! i love listening to you!! :)

  • loved this video :)

where can you get sibu products from in the UK?

  • @simarjitubhi Look online at victoriahealth (.com). They should have all or most of our products.

    --Pete McMullin, Sibu President

  • Hey Michele! I just got the Mia yesterday as a birthday gift from my husband, I couldnt wait till Monday to use it so I used it already LOL! anyway, I love it! I don't know if I'm crazy but I noticed a difference in my pore appearance already. My skin is really dry though and it did feel tight after cleansing with it but I used my Protopic (prescription ointment for DRY skin), then it felt great! I will try the clinique cleanser. xo Michele

  • I'm surprised you mentioned vasoline in passing. I'm trying that carrot line currently, like the cleanser.

  • about the clinique toner, you just have to get the one for dry sensitive skin that one doesn't contain alcohol or at least much less.

  • what about your palmers lotion?

  • OMG I <3 the Clinic moisturizer !

  • I really enjoyed this video!! It's always interesting to see what others use to keep their skin looking good. I had acne all throughout highschool and tried every possible acne treatment there was. Of course nothing worked, so I decided to just wash my face with a simple face wash that's soap free, non comedogenic etc. and my face instantly cleared up.

Lately the only issues I've been having are with dry skin. bboo. I think I will forever be in search of the perfect moisturizer.

  • he wonders the soap is greenie, hahaha

  • Sibu is my morning wash. Feels great and non drying. The line is wonderful.

  • Ahhh, well... I was sceptic about that Clinique dramatically different line but because everybody talks about it here, but if you recommended it then it must be good. =) I guess I'll go and try it next time I ran out of my current wash&moisturizer! Thanks for making this video!

  • Great products. I'm going to try the Sibu soap :D

  • You always have such huge bright eyes!

  • Can you explain why sulfate and paraben (sp?) are bad, my favorite shampoo has sulfate in it! Thanks

  • @boogihoff Sulfates can be drying/irritating to the skin. Parabens are a bit iffy, some research shows them being bad and carcinogenic, while other research claims parabens are harmless.

  • hi michelle

Skincare videos are the best ever;)

    a few thoughts:

    1) Sibu only ships the US and Canada on their website -do you know an international site?? I really want to try this! I have the Clinique moisturizer now but wanna try Sibu!

    2) How much is the Bobbi Brown eye cream?

    3) I am SO getting the Clearisonic Mia - saving up for it - need to have it shipped internationally etc -so it's my b-day gift in March;)

    4) Toner: I recommend The Body Shop Sea Weed Toner - love it!

    xoxo

  • 5) Really wanna try the VS make up remover!! I use the CG Waterproof Lash Blast and it's HARD to get of w normal cleansers, I use a Danish brand, which is the ONLY one I can get this mascara completely off w!

    6) Been loving the Cetaphil liquid face cleanser for a year and a half now!! LOVE! But I have still to try the lotion - ALWAYS seem to return to the Clinique Dramatically Moisturizer!!

    7) Wanna try iviscents body frostings!

    ;) You're the best;)

    Great video!!

  • Thanks for the recommendations - really happy you're back!

  • I know i'm super late in saying this, but i'm soooo happy that you're doing videos again! :))

  • Your nail polish colour is stunning

  • Love your product choices and can't wait to try some of your recommendations. I actually love Clinique Clarifying lotion and have been using it for close to 15 years. It is a liquid exfoliant so if you use it too vigorously it will irritate the skin like any exfoliant would.

  • Thanks so much for this video! I just purchased a Mia because you raved about it, and I'm so excited to use it. I definitely have added all the products you mentioned to my shopping list. :)

  • Michele, thank you so much for taking the time to do these types of video. I wanna buy everything you use because your skin is so flawless. I can't wait till I receive my sibu products. :)

  • im pretty sure victoria's secret discontinued the eye makeup remover. i work there and we dont have it anymore.

  • @itsjackbitch, did you not watch the video. :/ ....

  • even though you have dry skin, your skin is so glowing!! amazing!

    love your videos!

  • what happened to the rareminerals moisturizer? you dont like it anymore?

  • I am thinking about getting the clarisonic mia but i don't know if it is good enough for cleaning my body also because the mia only has one speed setting..would you say it works perfectly fine for that also or should i get one of the other clarisonic...?

  • try the clinique Mild toner. they dont really advertise it but my uncle who is a dermatologist recommended it to me. its alcohol free, slightly moisturizing and it has .5 salicylic acid in it so it exfoliates lightly and prevents acne. the other clinique toners except the moisture surge one is horrible for any skin types.

  • you should try ARBONNE

    i hiiiiighly recommend it

  • Jason Organics Body Wash is an awesome and natural alternative. Also KORRES Yoghurt Face Cream~ my HG moisturiser~ LOVE it! MYCHELLE Dermaceuticals has amazing skincare as well. : )
