I have a Jack russell/ chihuahua .He weighs 12 pounds and he is incredibly strong.On his leash,he can pull so hard,my hand hurts after about ten minutes,and he can run for miles.He is also smart,and a great family dog,and watch dog.From what I have seen ,any JR mix is a great dog.

This JRT has helped raise about 6 litters of Ferel cats... Both dogs are constantly around other animals and both have been used in assistance to help others train their dogs.

Most Jacks are noisy in play.

The jack could just be small and old for his age before my dads other russel sinbad died he was quite short with stumpy legs and a fat body plus its normaly female russels that are tall and slim were as the males are short and stocky, at least thats all I've ever seen I could be wrong.

Jack russell terriers was one of the first hunting dogs in England and i think the jack russell was bred with the bulldog to make the staffy and the staffy breed is in the pitbull.

She is now 6 years old and she still has wonderful respect for her short legged JRT sister. I even help friends out and have numerous different dogs in my home and she also lives with sixteen cats and a bird and has yet to ever bring harm to anything. She is well trained and a very level tempered dog because I do know what I have in my breed of dogs.
