  • On one hand I love watching this show because it's amazing. On the other hand it makes me think how worthless modern sitcoms are. Absolute drivel today. Long live K.U.A.

  • Memories! :') <3

  • If you enjoy KUAPP, you may enjoy 'The Royale Family'. The humour is very different but it's about a household similar to that of Daisy, Rose and Onslow.

  • Fortunately WUFT plays this and Are you being Served

Fortunately WUFT plays this every Saturday night.Unfortunately Im usually out on Saturday nights.Although I have personally thanked them for airing this and other British comedies on Saturdays.I really wish they'd air it at a time people would be more likely home.It beats any crap the people in our entertainment industry can create. They cant go outside of the crime or reality box.Let your station know you watch

  • i love emmet's paranoia. the poor sod can't even go into his own garden. mind you, can you blame him with someone like hyacinth living next door?

  • I just love this serie, must be the best ever made! Hyacinth is totally outstanding.

  • Thumbs up if you think Onslow, Daisy, and Rose should have had their own spin-off show!

  • @MusicandDancing4Ever had that thought just this morning during my morning arse-scratch. reminded me of onslow.

  • I always felt sorry for Daisy. Her sisters are beauties and have fun, and her hubby Hounslow (sp?) is a lazy tub.

  • Poor Liz looks like she's about to have a massive heart attack every time Hyacinthe rings.

  • "It's like talking to BRICK! Words just bounce off!" --Elizabeth

  • Got to love Mrs. Bucket

    :^)

  • @NewZealandAri its bucquee..lol

  • @tradergirljam

    LOL

    Sure it is....

  • That piano that Emmett (Emmitt? spell?) is playing is gorgeous!

  • i have the box set but wore this dvd out hahaha

  • "I am she'll be there and I'll be there. So what? We'll be together in the same room, that's all....and that's all it takes!" LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i was 10 when this was aired on tv. loved it then love it now

  • Poor Richard, that book's the closest thing he's probably had to action in years.

  • The key to this show's success is that everyone has someone like Hyacinth in their families and has felt like Richard or Elizabeth. I guess, in the end, that means that we are laughing at ourselves. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

  • Do they ever say what city this takes place in? I always assumed it was a suburb of London.

  • @jeffeastwood15 Coventry, I think? It's certainly somewhere in the West Midlands anyway.

  • @jeffeastwood15 its manchester just outside moss side where onslow lives an hyacinth is a small town outside manchester in lancashire somwhere

  • @jaylpp12 i live in manc and lancashire IS in manc. just not sure where abouts. i live in old trafford right next to moss side.

  • @jeffeastwood15 Hyacinth once refers to herself as the "Dame (something) of the West Midlands" and the show was shot in Coventry. However, they refer to the place where they live as a town rather than a city, which would exclude Wolverhampton, Birmingham and Coventry.

  • they'll never take you it's for fellas

  • "With a son at university studying Tapestry and Advanced Needlework?" What kind of university offers that?

  • @monuorah I think Sheridan studies at a technical college, but Hyacinth doesn't think that sounds posh enough ^^

  • "Onslow, where do you go to join the legion?"

"Cooper Street!" I crack up every time someone makes a question of the like and Onslow answers "Cooper Street."!

  • Oh well Art Exhibition ;)

  • 4:22 ugh lol

  • Something about how Onslow says "He'll never get through the medical", cracks me up.

  • oh I love this pompass windbag! She's great & ya gotta love that hen pecked hubby! lol British comedy is the greatest!

  • i dont get the "cupid street" joke. Can anyone please feed me with the background behind it? Thanks.

  • Cooper Street? yeah, that is a bit of a mystery. could never work that out myself. Maybe Onslow misunderstood and there is some sort of office in Cooper Street, for The Legion. there's a group called that. not just the Foreign Legion, but the British legion

  • There are only eleven legion offices and they are all in France!

  • cooper street* its the street with brothels etc.

  • emmet is really funny :P

  • i lovee this show !!

  • I swear this show never gets any less entertaining. It continues to be one of my favorite shows. Poor Richard, he never had a chance

  • I too had an aunt just like her. She was terrifying.

  • I think everybody in England has an Aunt or Grandmother like her. She's a splitting image of my Aunt Mable!

  • she's spittin image of grandmother in the 1960s

  • Georgiahulse,

As you said, if everyone had an aunt or gran like Hyancinth, doesn't it say something about the generation born before World War 2? So much more class concious then.

  • I don't know if that's a good or bad thing to be honest, but Hyacinth's generation were certainly more classy and modest than today's.

  • THE BEST A REAL CLASSIC........

  • OUTSTANDING!!!!

  • I wish we have a show like this in the US but we would probably ruin it!!

  • Lol gosh.. look how many thumbs up that comment has hehe!

  • @Setina19 All in The Family Show

  • @Setina19 This aired on PBS in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

  • @Setina19 Oh you are so right. We would ruin it with unnecessary cursing, nudity, violence, and sex. The golden age of tv (1950's to early 1990's) and golden age of movies was from the 1930's to 1950's when America was number, but now tv and movies in America is garbage, even the music. They don't know how to make a good show without filth. I'm not a prune, but I'm sick of the same themes in American tv.

  • I love this show

  • This show is legendary....I remember watching when i was a child with my mom, we would never miss it...Thanks so much for uploading!!!

  • "The modern rubbish."

  • didn't their dad think that he was in WWII? also, I pity: the neighbors, the mailman, the priest, Richard, and any1 else suffering.

  • this show kicks so much ***. I can't stress that enough! I give it a 5/5, a favorite, and my full support!

  • 6:51 - 6:55 You have to love the look!

  • KUA never grows old!

  • I luv Mrs Bucket

  • It's BOUQUET

  • class!!!
