Many, many people have have told me that they are not in denial about climate change; they simply don't know enough to decide. Without a scientist general to instruct us on climate change, we as a nation have been adrift, looking for leadership and not finding it.

Photosynthesis controls the level of carbon dioxide in the air. All man can do is increase or decrease life on earth. Extra carbon dioxide becomes additional life the
Words fail me. Extra CO2 causes a lot of problems, like for example increase of the heat in the climate system (which is not necessarily increase in the ave. annual temp). It may convert into extra energy like for example huge waves, windstorms, floods, avalanches.

The natural variation of natural CO2 production is 4 times what we produce"
You'll notice that after 4.5 billion years & prior to the industrial revolution, the CO2 level in the atmosphere was only 280 ppm. Thats because the variation in natural CO2 does not accumulate over the longer time span. In other words the variation of natural CO2 over a ten or twenty year span is much less that man's 3% increase/year.

MrPurplefood "at 60C water can hold about .6 grams of C02"
You have ommitted the effect of atmospheric CO2. The more CO2 in the atmosphere the more CO2 water can absorb for a given temperature.
Currently we have a situation where temperatures are going up but CO2 dissolved in the water is also going up. Explanation: Atmospheric CO2 is increasing.

RE: 'What is climate change?'
Climate change has a little bit broader meaning than presented in this video:
- it causes rapid change in the basic climate characteristics: temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind, rainfall;
- it changes the parameters of the basic climate cycles: carbon cycle, water cycle, energy cycles;
- forces the climate system to make rapid transitions into new states of equilibrium (accompanied by extreme weather).

RE: 'Photosynthesis controls the level of carbon dioxide in the air.'
This is not true. Photosynthesis used to control CO2 before the TPPs & the vehicles came into existence.
RE: 'Extra carbon dioxide becomes additional life'
Words fail me. Extra CO2 causes a lot of problems, like for example increase of the heat in the climate system (which is not necessarily increase in the ave. annual temp). It may convert into extra energy like for example huge waves, windstorms, floods, avalanches.

There is a denier censoring comments on this video with tons of denier sock puppet accounts, to see the comments he's censoring, hit "see all" and you can read them.
He is showing the public exactly what the losing "side" behaves like

How the Dutch make 'room for the river' by redesigning downtown
.
For centuries, the Dutch have built higher and higher dikes to keep waters at bay in a country where 55 percent of housing is located in areas prone to flooding. But climate change has convinced them this approach will no longer work.

@PrairleDogged i'm not talking about pre 1800s. There is too much variation in the data to get a clear picture. But the fact is that in the last 100 years PPM of CO2 has been growing. That is a clear fact: Where do you think all those little CO2 molecules have gone from the trillions of tonns of oil and coal that we have burnt? Couldnt have gone into plants cos nothing has been reduced. If anything plant mass has decreased in the last 100 years. 98% of scientists cant be wrong

Worse still man's "3%" accumulates year to year.

@MrPurplefood There seems to be a funding link between the GM and Hancock Coal: Whilst Smitt and Smeed claim to be financing the GM themselves. A month before first making this claim Smit told the Noosa News that Gina Rinehart, the Chairman of Hancock Prospecting Pty Ltd (HPPL) and its coal subsidiary Hancock Coal, had agreed to fund part of the costs of a tour to Australia of climate sceptic Christopher Monckton.

Worse still man's "3%" accumulates year to year.
