  • Thanx to bill for taking the initiative in pointing out this important observation because he's in a high status position to make women have more respect and actually mayby slightly listen to this viewpoint. In a mre common case though where it would just be the average guy on the street he would be percieved as a bitter pathetic loser for holding this view.

  • "...you pathetic pussy-whipped piece of shit" Paul/Maher 2012!

  • Equality would mean absolute equality, not just the good stuff. It irks me when women talk about all the crap men do and then complain when you answer them.

    You rock, bill maher!

  • This is a GREAT video collection of Maher's talks on this subject.

  • I like how he said that he's not looking to change what women do, he's more interested in changing what the men are doing (or not doing).

Acting like lobotomized pussies is not the way to go (and you don't have to be a talk show host to live that way).

  • Bill we are all with you .)

  • 2:20 Looks like a transsexual....good to see Bill covering all area's....

  • Micheal Moore should have his balls removed....

  • @goodvibesallround

    He didn't?

  • Maher is scum.

  • @StonewallJackson26 I love him!

  • The sad things is, stating a man's perspective, no matter how honest, makes him a mysogynist, which is absolute bullshit.

  • I got tired of tapdancing exactly like Bill is talking about so I left my wife. I couldn't take it anymore.

  • he doesn't understand anything about women. he's obviously never dated an intelligent woman who doesn't pull that ridiculous "women would never start wars" BS. i mean this guy has no clue how lucky he is to have a cock, and he's entirely missing the point that it's been a man's world since the dawn of time and it still is, and it's not so bad that we actually let women do stuff now... fuck him

  • @pubeafro

"and it's not so bad that we actually let women do stuff now"

See this is my problem. No where does he say it's bad that we let women "do stuff now" or even imply it's a bad thing that women have more equal rights. You're projecting resentments that he is not even talking about.

He's talking about a perfectly valid point, that the balancing of the sexes has toppled over, and the balance is now leaning firmly on the woman's side, when all we want is actual mutual respect.

  • @pubeafro It has NEVER been a man's world. Do not confuse a small percentage of men (1-3% of men) at the top with "men being on top". Look at a lion pride. From the outside it looks like, "hey, that male lion is in charge, male lions have it made.". But, the vast majority of male lions are wandering aimlessly trying to survive and, hopefully, eventually shed another male lion's blood and get a pride and then, in a few years, have a younger male lion shed his blood and then die lonely.

  • @ActaNonVerba71 men have had more rights than women in almost every aspect throughout history (right to vote, right to own property) let alone the inequality of penalty shown in the coran or the bible regarding things like adultery. women were not allowed to work, were taught for years to subdue their wishes to their husbands', and so on.

  • @marlathecancer Before we even begin this discussion, let us acknowledge first that it is only men that were and still are expected via a draft to go die for their countries, men always have and still have over 90% of deaths related to performing dangerous jobs to support the family, and husbands used to be held responsible for illegal activities of their wives but wives have never been held responsible for the husband's illegal activities. (continued in reply)

  • @ActaNonVerba71 (cont) Having said that, single or widowed women in colonial America who owned property were allowed to vote. During colonial times, the right to vote was linked directly to land ownership. The vote was given to the head of the household and not to each member. We could go on for days about history but these little YouTube boxes are not a good format. Suffice it to say, the average woman has always had it bad but still better than the average man. END

  • You know that men are responsible for other men being drafted, and also for the exclusion of women from the draft, right? Also, let's see a link for that 90% figure, since the margin of error on that statistic is generally reserved for bullshit; among the rest of the privileged garbage you are spewing. Thousands of years worth of institutionalized sexism (and ignorance, *wink wink*) are the reason women STILL don't have it better than "the average man".

  • @TheHuntress144 You are a minority female so I'm just not gonna say anything. Take care.

  • @TheHuntress144

Victim!! Boohoo help me boohoo! ME ME ME

  • Comment removed

  • When Maher rants and fumes like that, he always looks like he's gonna CWY!!

    LOL

  • I once had a GF who kept treating me like I was an inferior person to her. That all changed when I punched her in the mouth. It was amazing to see the look on her face when she realized in a second's moment that she was oh so very wrong.

  • @alvagoldbook2 you didnt really prove your point at all in fact you made a point for men actaully being stupid because you had to resort to violence to solve a situation. fail.

  • @Murder0redruM 1) what makes you think that might doesn't make right? and 2) you have trouble detecting sarcasm, don't you?

  • @alvagoldbook2 1) i dont understand what the fuck you just said

    2) i detected the sarcasm but it wasnt funny at all. fail.

  • @alvagoldbook2 and then everything changed even more when she cut your penis off with plastic scissors, making you the depressed eunuch you are today.

  • @pubeafro nah, I wouldn't let her do that. She did bite it once when I shoved it in her mouth. That's also a good way to keep a bitch from bitching. It was kinda funny when she cried when I put it in her ass.

  • At 00:5 is that Dr. Phil with an earing in the gay ear ?

  • So glad I'm not into women

  • I was excited in the early 90s when I started reading books like "Iron John". Too bad the budding mens' movement was hijacked by the right-wing "Promise Keepers" and changed the narrative from men being allowed to be men, to men trying to go back to the old fashioned role as the lord and master as mandated by religion.

  • @DandAinTac

worse, they want men to be the protector and provider, the very role that gets men killed in wars and industrial accidents. Men have real problems but they sure aren't helping us overcome them. It's a start though =/

  • Watch Jerry Springer if you want to see who batters who more often. Women can punch men and are indeed condoned for punching men, the men rarely retaliate. If you extrapolate this to the average drunken call the cops get its clear that women are often the instigators of violence against partners who have much better abilities to retaliate. So women start it but men end it and the men are usually blamed.

  • @cordedpoodle

it's the same story if you watch COPS or any of its clones

  • Funny stuff.

  • I am so glad to hear that a public figure like Bill Maher has this view point (3:55), finally a voice for true equality: understanding that women are treated inappropriately by some bad men, but that the opposite also exists yet is not brought to the public's attention nearly as much, and that that needs to change :)

  • If we ever evolved into bisexual humans, a whole race where everyone has the inherent, natural desire for both sexes, do you think there would still be an emphasis placed on the differences between genders? Also, did the mans thirst for domination over women, and even other men, stem from the fact that the act of sex relies on the male's, and only the male's, desire to have it, when he wants to have it? A woman must arouse a man for intercourse; but a man can rape a woman for intercourse...

  • @983215ljhlkadbspig6y you are fucked up and don't understand life.

  • Comment removed

  • @983215ljhlkadbspig6y well at least your good at typing I'll give you that, you'll make a good philosopher one day.

  • @983215ljhlkadbspig6y There's a biological origin to some of this but acting like women don't have sexual desire is BS. Sure men wouldn't take so much crap from women if they weren't more interested in passing on their genes than living.

  • @unassumption

In "My Secret Garden," Nancy Friday explains how women are raised to CONTROL and REPRESS their sexuality, so that they can USE it to control and manipulate men.

That's why women call each other "sluts" etc.and ostracize any woman who doesn't ration it

  • 4:28 Haha that's me :)

  • Let's squash this men/women bullshit. Gender is totally irrelevant and until we learn that we can never have equality in either direction.

  • Beautiful Video

  • Bill Maher says it like it is.

  • Bill Maher has the courage to tell the truth no one else dare to discuss this subject openly on a TV screen."He's absolutely right when he calls it female domination" I just want to add that it's not only in America but in Europe too.

  • I don't think the values Bill is talking about are all feminine. That suggests that women are not logical thinkers. True, there are women who think like that, but there are men who also hold on to those beliefs. I personally think truth is more important than feelings when running a country.

Also, women should stop downgrading the men. Men & women are equally important even if we view things differently. Learn from each other, but do not criticise just to criticise something that is different.

  • It's hilarious when bill agrees that men are lonely and that chick comes back with "are they? Like she thinks men can't earn peoples sympathy or be maligned.

  • idk, I've seen plenty of couples who really want to be together...and if they didn't, they'd of already broken up.

There are women who don't nag and men who don't pretend to be happy - they just are. I think Bill is more talking about couples who aren't happy and for whatever reason stay together (probably because of the whole 'I put so much time in to this relationship' thing).

  • Yes, Maher. Society is skewed towards the politically correct, sensitivity is more important than truth, feelings are more important than facts and commitment is more important than individuality.

NONE OF THESE ARE FEMININE VALUES. I don't understand how this guy can address the millions of women who are steely eyed realists while debasing their entire gender with terms like "feminine values".

  • @cheekypants321 You enter dangerous territory when you say facts and truth are less important than feelings and sensitivity. If the factual basis is wrong, the feelings are based on misinformation. Facts and truth should always be the most important things.

  • @blueranger614 Wow, did you even read my comment? When I said that feelings and sensitivity are more important then facts and truth I was talking about the societal ideology Maher was complaining about, not my own opinion.

Try reading past the 1st paragraph next time.

  • @cheekypants321 Your second paragraph addressed whether or not they are feminine values. It was not clear that those were not your beliefs, but still, sorry for misunderstanding. If you are someone who believes that facts and truth are more important, then good, I respect that.

  • @blueranger614 Thank you, and I am.

  • Bill makes good points but if you aren't a famous comedian, you can't live his lifestyle. If you're rich you can fuck supermodels and never commit to them, but if you're a regular guy and you never get married and carry on with women half your age who you can't relate to at all people actually call you on it.

  • @UCKABAH

Yeah they call me the luckiest sumbitch on Earth!

  • @UCKABAH I seriously doubt he fucks supermodels? And in reality.....most normal guys like the honesty and comfort of a whore....it's normal.....

  • i love how chauvinism and misogynist are tags for this video. You're clearly missing the point of what Bill Maher is trying to say.

  • Men pretend to agree with women to get laid? Well, whose fault is that? If a man is really so pathetically weak-willed that he's willing to lie for sex, then he doesn't deserve any respect. And he certainly has no right to complain and act like it's the woman's fault.

  • @NYanarchy08 you're right. men are pathetically weak. that's why we need to man up and stop taking all that fuckin feminist 'touchy feely' bullshit. Men don't deserve respect for lying to get sex - Ha ! and apparently women deserve respect for thinking that men are supposed to fulfill every damn whim they have.

but i still agree with you, it's not as much of a woman's fault as it is the man's fault for letting women control them.

  • @blastitude Only a delusional moron would actually believe that women hold the power in modern society. This whole "feminist takeover" is nothing more than a few sexually frustrated men projecting their problems on our entire country so they can pat each other on the back and pretend to be victims, while women are still paid less and discriminated against in the workplace. American men need to get the fuck over themselves. This is a made-up controversy.

  • @NYanarchy08 Only a delusional moron would believe otherwise. And though men may make more of the money, studies indicate that the lion's share of the money is spent on, by, or for the needs of women. Even some feminists have spoken out against the criminalizing of being a man today. It especially hurts young boys at school where it is regarded nothing less than a pathology to be a male. Also, today's technological information age favors the talents of women. Dowse your ego and wake up!

  • @dnsmithnc The information age favors women? Where the fuck are you getting this stuff? Take a look in a college computer science class and count the students by gender. You'll see a LOT more men in there. I'm not saying that men have perfect lives, but these "problems" are not nearly big enough to warrant the kind of anger I'm seeing in these videos. The problems facing modern women are a hell of a lot worse.

Oh, and I'm a guy by the way. So my ego's not really an issue here.

  • @NYanarchy08 You're and your ego is not an issue? Come on man? In regard to computer science, you are giving one example. What I am saying is that things such as fine motor skills, multitasking, ect., which women are stronger at are favored in the in this age. Data abounds on this issue. You're, and other men like you are the reason why the problems men have will never be resolved. Get out of your head and look around you and listen.

  • @dnsmithnc See, that's exactly the problem. You can't just "look around you" and hope to understand the gender dynamic of an entire country. Do some research, read some statistics, and analyze some demographics besides "whiny men who happen to be within hearing range at the moment." The plain and simple fact is that women are still heavily discriminated against in the job market, and have to put up with sexist bullshit when they DO get a job. Men's problems are trivial in comparison.

  • Maybe we compensate for being paid 70cents on the dollar.

  • @reverenceforall How do you come by that statistic? At my job, and every job I know, women make as much as me. Men I know who work in warehouses doing the heavey lifting, are paid the same as women who are given the easy jobs. Fire departments are required to hire women though they don't have the upper body strength to pass the entrance exam. Overall, men might make more money because they are most of the entrepreneurs and CEO's. But I am not one nor is more than 99 percent of men.

  • @dnsmithnc You can google men-women income disparity in the United Stated or any other such variation and you will find many articles on the subject.

  • @reverenceforall Give me the title of these articles or web link? Like I said it might refer to the top 1/10 of a percent where men dominate the highest income positions but, other than that??? Where are these articles.

  • lol, americunts. You need to learn how to discipline your unruly cunts and get them to fix you sandwiches, in the kitchen where they belong. Pick up your balls and do something, you sad fucks.

  • 10/10

  • I have lost almost all respect for Michael Moore. How could he be so self loathing? He made a fool of himself on that talk show.

  • "Sensitivity is more important than facts. Feelings, more important than truth." Thank you Bill Mayer for telling the truth. And yes, men are lonely in this country and, unhappy. It has indeed become a "Pathology" to be a man.

  • i need the hole show not mixed w stand up

  • Youtube:

    Politically Incorrect, Women/ Feminism-Part 1

  • Bill Maher totally gets it. I try to explain this to my wife, friends and no one seems to grasp the idea. They just can't see where we're going. The time will come (if we men don't do anything about it) where women will be able to get away with anything while men will be so fucking paranoid with the possibility of being taken for a mysogynist that they'll take it in the ass if thats what it takes.

  • Maher mirrors my belief that women reject truth when it comes in conflict with their sensibilities.I find this totally incomprehensible. How can you live in a lie just because it suits your emotions.Isn't the pursuit of truth the most important thing in life. The bearers of life on this planet should be wiser than this.

  • mr bill whose fault u think for feminising in usa, womens no no its man fault. coz a country, city or continent whatevr it is run the way how men wants.u guys give so much power to women nd now regretting.

  • Comment removed

  • Of course ppl tend to make some fun and jokes...

But I don't know much men seriously talking bad about women (and I met, worked or whatever with a very big number of persons). They either appreciate them or have individual problems with a single women (and not trying to act like that would say anything about any other woman).

But I noticed on several occasions that a pretty big number of women have no tolerance for men. If one got problems or needs to talk, then that's not a real man.

  • Right on Bill. More men need to have the guts to stand for themselves. Unfortunately, the environmental toxins have stolen a lot of our testosterone. Women rule in the U.S. The restrictions placed on women in some other cultures is because, deep down, men fear the power they can have over them. Looking at what is going on in here and in most western countries, I partially understand their position. Woman rule and they will not stop amassing their power until they dominate completely.

  • @JXJ1326 I don't think American "Men" are pussywhipped - I just think they're not really "men" - far, FAR, too many of them are conservative... especially the young "men" - as a man, I find the sight (and especially the sound) of a young, conservative, would-be "male" just about the saddest phenomenon in Nature - a complete waste of not only Testosterone but DNA and Cortex. They're only good for sending to War to die for the Wealthy that they worship so much. Pussywhipped??? They wish!

  • I lived in US for 10 years - and I have to admit, American 'men' are totally pussywhipped wooses! Especially the Conservative ones - what a bunch of pussies.

  • god I cannot stand whining, over-dramatic super sensitive feminists who can't handle a little truth.

  • This system's designed to repress what it means to be a man. Maher's right; man makes women nod just for the sex most of the time. The day man stands up and tells the truth, that day marriage will end. And there's nothing wrong with that; if man wants sex, there are always other ways to get, but then again, society and religion come in and label it as unacceptable.

The freedom of man, the fall of religion, the rise of truth and reason are things that will come at once- and has already started.

  • where are all these sensitive guys that call and check in and men that nod to please girls ... I've been picking from the wrong batch clearly :S

  • @00sparkleandshiiine You probably have and here's why, your not attracted to those men. They surround you every day, yet you don't see them. Imagine what being one of them must be like.

  • @AC101666 well, I mean that's not a fair statement.. I feel like i am attracted guys with said qualities... and they are displayed for a limited amount of time until the sex is regular and at which point the act can be dropped. I don't think there are just good guys and bad guys.. a lot of bad guys tend to be wolves in sheep's clothing.. the problem is guys will do anything for sex.. be it a complacent yesman or a blatant sociopath

  • @00sparkleandshiiine Not me... I don't DO 'yes-man' - ever.

  • @2001Horatio lies!

  • @00sparkleandshiiine Oh, wwwwoooookay! Ya got me there, you betcha! LOL

It's not my fault you don't like American women - I think they're fabulous. Such a sad life you must have.

  • I rarely like edited footage, but this was well done and explored the points well. Koudos to you and Bill Maher!

  • To say that women are disadvantaged in this world is crap. Women have all the rights as men, can get the same education, can apply for the same jobs on the merit of your resume. As for these top level corporate jobs, men who don't know the "right people" are just as disadvantaged and discriminated against as are women who don't know the right people. Besides, women who want equality in the corporations should make sure the sewers, and coal mines have the same equality.

  • I find that women who were never disadvantaged a day in their life, are demanding reparations from men who have never been a part of the "grand conspiracy to keep women down". Saying "men run the world" to a guy that works 10 hrs a day 6 days a week, do half the housework, all the yard work, pay for the dates, and beg and be grateful for a tiny amount of sex and then have the threat of divorce over me is wrong. I would like the choice to be able to stay home and raise the children and not work.

  • @bxjam85 And yet listen to you, whimpering because a woman dare disagree with your views on masculinity. The arguments are very much the same, except your stance is the more hypocritical as the US has a whopping total of 17 female senators and 75 Representatives. What about feminism so offends you?Do you fear a loss of power, or you think that feminism is inherently sexist itself? If the latter, I ask you to read some feminist literature, not the garbled translation of it you hear from the news.

  • i dont why but...i agree w/ this video and always hated feminism and im a girl...did i always think as a man? feminism sucks

  • This video should be required viewing for all men.

  • That's why i always loved married with children. Al always got the short straw and was kinda an @sshole at times, but considering his bon bon munching, couchdwelling wife and obnoxius kids at least he always had the audience sympathy.

Ps. we've got the same feminist bs in Sweden too.

  • @herbpixie Women produce babies, Men produce everything else. Men make more money because men take on harder more dangerous jobs or jobs that require more skill. You get paid on what the free market says your worth. Low skill, Low producing, Less dangerous and easy jobs pay less (which women tend to take).

  • The majority of progress is brought on by men. Earlier in history men were better valued because of it.

Ofcourse women should have the same rights as men, but we have to take women of their piedestal.

  • @Greggah Why do you think this is? Maybe because for hundreds of years women were forced into a lesser position in society? They were prohibited from going to school, and married off before puberty in some extreme cases, all of this endorsed by faux-science or religion conjured up by those bold progressives. Can you so easily write off the contributions of Curie, Goodall, Franklin, etc. because you feel insecure? Whatever pedestal you're imagining comes with a wage cut and a glass ceiling.

  • This is possibly the most true video of all time

  • ...and if any man, like Maher, dares to fight back and defend the male of the species, he's automatically called sexist...a mysogynist etc. Men don't need sensitivity training. They need to be men again. On this subject, Maher absolutely hit the nail on the head.

  • I find myself in a strange situation on this subject...I'm (emphatically) agreeing with Bill Maher. Women, since at least the 80's, have been portrayed in the media (particularly sitcoms) as always in control, more rational and smarter than the husband / boyfriend, and generally this wonderful, glorious heavenly creature. The man is portrayed as either a doofus, an asshole, cruel, violent or any combination of those things. Male bashing has been in vogue for way too long in our society...

  • Continued: INSECTOID. US society has become a colony or hive of humans (in many regards such as economics, education, media, familial unit, etc.). Humans are not insects. In such living conditions (a sequestered society apart from other countries) unbalanced, corrupted, and extreme ideals will begin to predominate. Why? Because the society (which is wrong) is becoming unstable and thus, values of non-aggression are being taken TOO FAR.

  • What many people should understand (by studying genetics and paleoanthropology) is that there is a reason why hominans (humans and their extinct relatives) developed certain phenotypic traits via genotypic topography. Our ancestors developed temperaments (male or female) by what the genomes presented. The males were the hunters and protectors and the females formed the close-knit group. Both COULD NOT survive without the other. The problem with US society is that it has become too

  • Maher has just climbed higher on my estime ladder

  • I don't normally agree with Maher, but he's 100% right on this one.

  • "Art Alexakis - Musician"

    Wow, that's generous.

  • I liked this!

  • as a woman, i must say that i prefer men to be honest and say whatever it is they have to say to me because while it may hurt me, it would be worse if that bullshit accumulated over YEARS of a relationship.

  • @BlindMansEye

You may be honestly thinking that,

but if a man says what he thinks, they won't be years of relationship...

50% of the time we don't even know what is the good answer to your question, so we guess, and 50% of the time we are bullied for that.

  • Sometimes Bill makes me want to scream, but he nailed this, except for his not emphasizing enough that if men want this to stop, they need to stop putting up with it. I agree that many men say whatever they have to to get into womens' pants, but maybe they should be willing to spank it sometimes instead. It's far more dignified to jerk off than to be a yes-man just so a woman will have sex with you.

  • @Nackles I see where your coming from and I'm not knocking your opinion, just you seemed to have used 2 words that dont belong in the same sentence. yesmen and sex. honestly women publicly admire these guys, but on the inside wished he would take more charge/be not as nice. while on the other hand women publicly badmouth players but secrectly want them because of the take charge attitude.

  • @gaffigantootie -- That's true of some women, but certainly not all of us. And FTR, for every woman who DOES behave that way, I suspect there's a man who, when a woman DOESN'T, can't process it.

Can you perhaps elaborate on why you think "yesmen" and "sex" don't belong in the same sentence? I don't understand what you mean by that, but I'd like to.

  • Sad part is most people watching this video would call Bill a sexist, mysogynist, patriarchal asshole but an overwhelming majority of his views on this subject is dead on. He was dead on when he said "sensitivity has become more important than facts". Everybody is so damn afraid of telling the truth these days at the risk of offending somebody. Men need to start being themselves more often and women need to give men the same amount of respect that women have gotten.

  • @Minamakhlouf

Best thing to do is whenever you hear the words "sexist, mysogynist, patriarchal etc", internally substitute the definition to be "rational, consistent, reliable, self defined etc."

  • @Minamakhlouf What do you see in America that men have stopped being themselves? Look around you, the world is run by men. We live in a patriarchal society where males are encouraged to succeed and thrive, and women are encouraged to judge themselves by superficial standards. And you demand respect..anyone (male/female) who disagrees with this masculine viewpoint is hounded and insulted. This male inferiority complex is utterly unjustified.

  • @spacemanspiff592 Sure, plenty of women are put to unfair standards by the size zero women in media, but so are men. Look at the cover of any magazine or clothing ad, or TV show etc, and the men within them have just as unattainable looks as the women for the average person.

There are sexist bastards that try their best to keep women down, but their are plenty of feminists like you that try to keep the sexes and make it seem like women are worse off. We all suffer challenges. Fuck off.

  • @Minamakhlouf

I agree. Nothing has been more true than everything Bill Maher is saying. And although I like his films, Michael Moore is the biggest mangina on the planet whenever it comes to these gender issue debates.

  • @kuunami Bill Maher is right on about this!! I'm tired of the "Its all about her" attitude of this pussy whipped country!! Jesus H,what happened to guys in this country?? Did they slip estrogen in all the food to make us all a bunch of she males?? How did so many guys become such a bunch of wusses?? Thank goodness Bill is saying what he's saying---It NEEDS to be said!!

  • @Minamakhlouf The problem is not sensitivity. The problem is political correctness, which has no gender. While Maher is as entitled to his views as anyone else, he is being disingenuous by equating sensitivity with females. There are countless insensitive women and sensitive men in existence. Maher is reinforcing stereotypical gender roles.

  • @Minamakhlouf So true. I live in Mexico and we're going the same way. Traditionaly, this country has been stereotyped as a machismo one. Every single day I hear men say things like: "I actually believe women are superior", "Women are smarter" "We men need women more than they need us", and a lot of bullshit like that, and it's so pathetic. It's like they're paranoid about the idea of being labled as a mysogynist.

  • @Minamakhlouf I think feminism has won and women are superior.

  • @carlinsaves

I think feminism was hijacked by lesbians, and that is why it was hell bent on "superiority" or "inferiority" in the fucking first place.

  • @29condorito nailed it. Whenever I see feminists, my response is 'oh for fucks sake' because I already know the bullshit thats about to be spewed forth from them.

  • @29condorito Agreed. Feminism is a female supremacist movement. It is the institutional version of the nag, which is to extract labor, favor and fortune from men in exchange for the absence of verbal abuse.

  • Nice video, and a lot of Bill's points are certainly valid.

  • This is a great video. One thing Bill failed to mention is that a lot of women out there are amazingly stubborn, and it's their way or the highway.

  • I agree with him, women in relationships are selfish. If you want your guy to put you first- then put his happiness first. I want an old school way of men and women, and men need to be valued for being men for that to happen

  • @mompm Of course, the problem with the "old school way" was that most women were restricted, belittled, controlled and mistreated. However, I do think we may have overcompensated - at least in America. There must be some reasonable middle ground on the continuum.

  • @MrPhiloscience I agree, there was a time where women's value needed to be increased- but now men are de-valued for being men. I don't bash men- I value good men. We need good men and good fathers, and if selfish women immaculate them they the women are at fault when those stand-up men are not around. True mutual respect is not the social condition here- but individually it can be.

  • @MrPhiloscience I notice you have a Sam Harris video as your favorite- I admire him so much! I don't have a" respect your man" outlook because of some foolish religious concept- peace

  • @mompm We just all need to finally learn the lesson that you cannot change another person. You either need to accept them as they are or move on.

And yeah, I don't admire very many people more than Harris.

  • @MrPhiloscience How do you mean "overcompensated?" I hear this idea used a lot and I don't understand. Is it talking about just being really politically correct?

  • @MrPhiloscience

-"most women were restricted, belittled, controlled and mistreated."

    -

All lies spoken by Feminists so that their Society-Destroying Agenda could be supported. Hitting your wife was NEVER condoned in America even in 1620, women were not belittled but respected, revered and valued for their contribution to society, and they were no more restricted than men were.

    -

Barefoot and Pregnant was a lie created by Feminists to get normal women on board. On and on.... all lies.

  • @Knepperify1 I agree partially - but women are still not 'respected' in the US - even cheerleading is widely accepted but it is very demeaning to girls and women. Very American - very bad.

  • @2001Horatio

    Nonsense.

Women are EXALTED in the USA by law, convention, and vocational and social and legal preference.

You are simply repeating some idiocy that someone told you years ago, but it bears no resemblance to reality.

There is nothing demeaning about cheerleading. Nothing at all. You have women and men cheering their team on. Totally non-demeaning. You are repeating some PC, Feminist nonsense that you blindly accepted as valid and the truth.

  • @Knepperify1 I would believe you if I hadn't lived in the US for many years. Your reality is my 'denial'. What you see as 'cheering" I see as soft-porn and exploitation and worst of all, giving the 'popular girls' in middle and high school even more attention and power. It's simply a 'cultural thing' I know. I don' expect you to perceive it as I do. As for PC - well, you don't know me but my friends all regard me as just about the least PC person they have ever met. So we disagree -

  • @2001Horatio Perhaps we both agree on the appalling state of what used to be American Manhood. If not, I don't mind - it isn't important enough to argue about. While there however, I did find most American women to be wonderful - talkative, much more open-minded and seemingly more educated than their male counterparts, classy, funny, charming and quite beautiful - and I noted many times, much braver than the 'men'.

  • @2001Horatio

"What you see as 'cheering" I see as soft-porn and exploitation..."

Of course you do. This is a result of the insane, post-1980 education in University that has taught Critical Theory and Deconstructionist attitudes towards everything.

Your intellectual assessment is simply wrong. Cheerleading isn't soft-porn, it's gymnastics in a skirt and a top.

You have been educated to think incorrectly and draw faulty conclusions.

    Congratulations! Your education/indoctrination succeeded!!

  • @Knepperify1 You know so much about me and yet so little.... lol. Went to university in 68 my friend. I'd rather 'faulty conclusions' than shaky premises and presumptions - which is what you did. LOL

And cheerleading - is soft-core porn for the sports crowd watching US sports that REALLY drag on for fucking hours and so some titillation by pretty people in scanty cloths is required. Pure porn - and children are used for this???? REally????

  • @2001Horatio

Yet you have absorbed the PC, Critical Theory nonsense completely.

"And cheerleading - is soft-core porn for the sports crowd watching US sports"

Then your ability to accurately assess reality is flawed. Soft-core porn involves full nudity and sex without showing genitalia. Cheerleading does not have that. Therefore it is not soft-core porn.

You cannot distinguish between the act of accurate observation of reality and the act of engaging in 'shaky premises'.

  • @Knepperify1 Ah a pedant! Well, OK you win, since you can read my mind, know my educational history, AND not perceive the obvious sexual nature of cheerleading you win. Now, does that twitch your little intellectual boner? LOL

  • @2001Horatio

If you lack the intellect to accurately observe reality then your conclusions will be flawed.

  • @Knepperify1 That's what I just said to you! LOL

  • @MrPhiloscience I've talk to plenty of older women and the mistreatment of women myth is a bunch of bullshit, most men of past generations have treated women like queens (with a few exceptions). The Feminist movement was just a bunch of pissed off Dikes who hated men and being married. The middle ground is to get the government out of our personal lives and hold men and women accountable for the actions. So if a women marries and/or gets pregnant by a scum bag loser then that's her problem.

  • @mompm Exactly true.

Only problem is that society got to a point in which most women think they DISERVE to be treated like princesses simply BECAUSE they are women,no matter what they do.(the greatest example of this is that it's ok for a woman to let's say slap a man but if a man ever dares to do this to a woman...well,you get my point.) --(I'm using this purely as an eample)--

With that kind of mentality they will NEVER ,and I mean NEVER put her guys' happiness first.

  • @Zerrattul then those are the women who don't deserve a good guy. And you are correct. I tell my daughter she has NO right to slap a boy ever, just as she should never tollerate it. Is is a mentality that many north american women have that all should be about them. I don't want my son living within that and I want him to have a wife who puts him first, so that's what I example for him, and guess what my husband loves and treats me fantastic back- it's simple ladies
