The last step is an insertion sort. All the previous steps (with comparison of far-away positions) are done to minimize the number of comparisons in the final step (and thus reduce average complexity).

öttel arrébb: by 5 further/away (this is really hard to translate exactly)

hármas mehet: 3 can be started

hárommal arrébb: by 3 further
