@Bryan3Tears Seriously? Wow. You need to really open a book or two. Acting is acting is acting. Just because someone acts a role on stage or tv it DOESN'T mean that they are whatever role they played in real life, especially in professional arenas. He got paid, and well, for doing this role. That's the long and short of it. On the plus side, I'm sure playing this role opened his eyes to what real transgender kids go through every day in real life. That really helps the world start to learn.

Bridger is a boy. He's just in a lot of make up. I know there's a video of him on here talking and he is most definitely a boy. The episode in a nutshell: guy is found with his genitals badly beaten, he can't remember. Bridger plays his son Henry who believes he was born in the wrong body (blah blah blah) and he is now Haley, a girl. Her father won't let her take hormone blockers so she can become a girl which is why her guidance counselor (who we discover is also a transgender) attacked him.

For me, it was a giveaway that it was a boy playing 'Hailey' b/c he had his shirt off in one scene and if the character was played by a girl, that would've been considered...well....
