I was excited to see Darkspore. One of my friends is much more of a Spore fan than I am and told me Spore was originally going to be more dark, kind of like Darkspore. And he was disappointed seeing it turned into more of a kids game.

This seems to focus more on action and fighting than the older Spore.

(Which after you got to the Space Age it got boring real fast).

It;s a game based around the award winning Creature Creator in spore. It's all based around that just with Diablo co-workers chipping in to make it more Dark. They needed to give some thanks to Spore for starting the Creators so they named it Darkspore.

@hiimgod801 Yeah, I just looked it up, its a more serious version of it. because the website says that you can create your own creature with an andvanced version of the spore creature creator. but I don't think that this is going to be a succes. they should make spore more realistic with blood and fur and stuff. and that you could go online. every planet is then like a lobby and every planet has different environments. throw in a more action packed way for combat and there you have it.

To any of the fans of the original Spore (or GA); I have both and from seeing the website for this game, Maxis has totally screwed up. This new game is basically a generic RPG with SPore's creature creator grafted on. They say something about online capability as well, so add in a WoW knockoff to the recipe.

What you'll get is total fail.
