Lou is quite an inspiration. Do you know how it'd be possible to contact him for a consultation? I haven't been able to find any of his contact info...
Does Lou Corona dye his hair? Not that it matters, since so many women do it and no one ask them if they do or not, but I have just wondered, since it looks very natural.
@TheRawFoodDoctor Exactly, it's diet + yoga->what means proper, deep breathing + as he said, pure thoughts, love thought and feeling inside of our being :)))
We are creators of our body and reality, only we are resposible for it :))
hi just love this guy ! i try his yogurt coconut almond recipie, and just c'ant get enough of it ! my girlfriend also , she just love this recipies! this is awesome tank you lou ! ill go straight to your website to buy your book ,- clean lean and serene !
@canadianwargod well.. it depends on what you mean by high. I think in terms of bulk, or by the ounce definitely not. And the only fats I blieve he gets are mostly coming from the cultured seeds and nuts. But I believe he eats those sparingly, maybe a hand full maximum per day, according to other lectures I have heard him give.
@upcycle I mean by percentage of calories. It seems that in a raw food diet, most people either get their calories from carbs (fruit) or fat (nuts, etc..) Some do both equally, but since he talked about not eating too much fruit, I assume he compensates by eating more fat since greens don't have much calories. But who knows, maybe calories aren't that important and I'm looking at it the wrong way.
@canadianwargod good questions. And i have thought the same things. One thing that seems different from Lou and some people that eat high carbs from fruit, is that some of the high fruit advocates are also involved in high performance endurance sports. And from what Lou says, he does not participate in working out. And I imagine that includes not doing any endurance sports. So perhaps if he did, he would eat much more raw fruit to give him more energy to maintain high energy output?
@canadianwargod another interesting note, I think is: Paul Bragg talked about a story in a book he wrote in which he challenged some athletes to a race in Death Valley during one of the times of the year when the temperature is something like 110 or more. And he would only have water.. and they can eat whatever they want. And thet he beat all of them to the end. And from what I recall.. none of them were able to complete the race, because of all kinds of physical issues.
@canadianwargod I wonder if people can get some energy from the water (H2O) . Water is made up of hydrogen and oxygen. And these two things are what is used in fuel cells for getting energy. Perhaps some people have some capacity to extract this energy from the water like a fuel cell?
@upcycle anything is possible ; ) It makes sense that if you are less active, fatty foods would be a more appropriate fuel. Most activities burn fat and it isn't until you really start putting in a serious effort does the body use glucose. I would love to see an example of Lou's food for a day!
lou is a beast, definitely an inspiration, most raw fooders look like shit, i think he is right on with the enzymes and the culturing of food, and a big lemon ginger blast every morning, he looks so good and especially for his age, those foods that he is eating are definitely kicking free radical ass
I get a good feeling from Lou Corona. He seems so humble and grateful for his life and for the ability and opportunity to help others. Hope to meet him one day. Enjoyed the video. Thanks.
