Ranger is weak, only chance to win is to attack from far and keep away from the enemy, as soon as you get close your leather armor is not going to do much.

I think its a good class but you need to think smart with it, can't just go head to head.

Kiting is (usually a ranged class) leading a melee class around damaging while staying out of the melees range. Think flying a kite, you lead it around and try to get it to do what you want and go where you want. Can be done melee vs melee with either dots or saving up for big CDs as well.

Aion is somkind of UPGRADE for lineage 2 ... style, sound etc = same.

I've played Lineage 2 as well. I'll admit, in terms of Exp grind, very much like Lineage 2. Playwise, not so much, the skill sets are of the 'chain' types. It's 'A then B and then C' you must use skill A to use skill B and then only after you've used B can you use C. In case you're wondering why you didn't see that here, it's cause the archer was realllly low lvl, not even 16, which is when rangers get their chain skill 'Arrow Strike'.Oh and here, a cleric is more likely to win in pvp than loose

Was the point of this fight for the templar to just TRY to get close to him and hit him once or twice (no charge, no cc's no nothing) the damage seem's quite ok but then i don't know their lvl's...I'm just curious though about the class so that if i choose to play it, it doesn't turn out to be a cat and mouse deal, pvp wise..

This is RLY low-lvl, i'd guess both are around lvl 12-13.

The templar gets way better cc at later lvls, making it very hard on the ranger. I'm playing a ranger atm, i'm having big trouble defeating warrior-class players.

Well actually, in later levels of the templar this will no longer be the case. As a templar, you eventually learn a move that forcefully pulls opponents towards you so you can stun them before they run away.
