Hey there. Believe it or not this brew is still sitting in the fermenter. The ale yeast I used tends to ferment out very slowly but the difference in taste between a proper ale yeast and the stuff you get under the lid of the can is huge. Adding in your own hops and some honey also boosts your flavour up. I try to stay away from using plain sugars like dextrose because they don't contribute any flavour to the brew, just alcohol.
I tried some of this brew yesterday and I could tell it's got some real potential. It should be really nice after I've bottled it and aged it a little.

Hi Daniel. So how it turned out? I never used anything else than just liquid or dry beer kit. How big is the difference?
