On top of that, the television rights for Spider-Man were given to Marvel by Sony (long story that's very complicated), and shortly after Disney bought Marvel (though Disney isn't to blame). @XGameMusic2 Unfortunately, Marvel sold the rights to their superheroes animation to disney, or something like that, and the shows were lost due to copyright rules. It's complicated, and I don't completely remember it right, but it's a shame, because we'll never see Norman Osborn get what he deserves for the mess he left behind.

This vid is the reason Spidey is my favourite hero, all the constant jokes to put the villains off their game. This was my main annoyance with the movies, they were way too serious and didn't have any piss taking. The only joke remember was in Spidey 2 when he threw a bag of money at Doc Ock shouting 'Heres your change', very lame.

@CheesyGranola It's a shame people turn away from this cartoon because of the art style. It's one of the best Spider-man cartoons made, easily rivaling the 90's cartoon. Unfortunately the show was cancelled after the second season in probably the worst way imaginable. (SPOILER: Gwen remains with Harry to comfort him about his fathers death even though she loves Pete and Norman Osbourne is revealed to still be alived.)
