Sometimes when you make a "rallentando" at the end of a phrase, you do it too soon: consider that the sincopation on this piece should ALWAYS BE ACURATE, for if its not, it looses a lot of grace.
Sorry, Im working on this piece right now, and I couldnt help to make a comment.
. You made a different 11th bar from the original score.
. Sometimes when you play bars 20, 22nd, 26th... the sincopation is a not acurate: even tough it-s not a bad idea to make a little "rallentando" after a phrase, you shoud cosider that first part of these bars as a part of the previous phrase. When you do this, it loses a lot of grace.
Sorry... I-m working on this piece for a concert, and I couldn-t help to notice your recording.

no problem i'm also working this piece, and that's the best interpretation i found on Youtube mostly because you keep the same intensity on part II as on part I and most player use to play it lighter because it's harder :)
i can't say much about your technique i'm also a self taught amateur and you play too fast to check your technic is perfect, but as i can see it's pretty good.
I knew a famous guitarist that taught me : "the important is the result" and your interpretation is pretty nice
very nice Paul, perfect chords and almost perfect harmonics :-) i didn't even know it was possible with a classical guitar, btw i am still working on the recording settings (i don't get the Gverb right)
Great, Paul! thanks to help me to reveal brazilian composers worldwide. Semenzato was a brazilian guitar teacher. This piece is really beautiful and you seemed like a good brazilian guitarrist performing it! Hugs
Thank you Ovidiov. If it actually sounds Brazilian, I am very pleased indeed!! (Remember that comment on my attempt at Sons De Carillhoes?).
Do you think it suits the middle section played a bit slower? I just thought it would add a bit more effect to return to the main theme from a slower middle part.
It is a great tune to play and I am sure you would do it far more justice than this offering.
Damn you Paul! You beat me on this one! I was planning on posting this. Now you have ruined everything! I am so mad at you! I'm kidding. It's really very well played because I know how hard it is. Brilliant Paul.
I have been at a luthier, per Hallgren, google him. to try a guitar.
Another great tune, Paul. Guess I need to check out Romford25's inventory. I've never heard of the song or the composer. Apparently there's a lot going on that I don't know about.
Romford25 appears below in the comments. He appears to have access to a whole new repertoire for amateur guitarists such as ourselves. He can generally find the sheet music for it as well!!
oh i forgot to say this - Just an observation (i maybe wrong) by your body language it seems you were furious about something. when you recorded this.

Belle version de ce choro

You are playing really good, but don't you think you are playing to fast? This music is not so fast like y're playing.
Só porque é um chorinho nao significa que tem que ser tao rapido. Essa musica é um choro mais lento.

@michael43216
Sorry Michael.
I play the way I feel it.; not the way I am taught it...because I never have a teacher.
Which is better?
Good luck with your concert.
