Can anyone tell me where Pat is grabbing the low G at 3:07? If this is DADGAD, the only possibility is the fifth fret, sixth string. But he doesn't look like he's anywhere near there. Appreciate it.
I'll always remember the guitar workshop Pat gave at the the first Arkansas Acoustic Festival in Conway, AR. It was a memorable experience. Thanks to Pat and the organizers for a great time!
Very good Pat I like that tune..I am proud to have you as a friend and a picking buddy. I have about 41 tunes on youtube. I need to have a better way to get them on there you know a better sound. I go by KyThumb. Or just my name Bill Futrell. You sound great my friend. Your buddy....Bill Futrell
The tab for both songs is included in a DVD by Pat Kirtly, available from Stefan Grossman's Guitar Workshop, Inc., which you can google to find the URL. Once there, search under DVD Guitar Lessons and browse by category Celtic and Instructor Pat Kirtley. All the songs on this DVD are in DADGAD. The songs are not difficult to finger, but to get the ornaments and that incredible flawless tone on each every note....well, have fun.
Sorry. Forgot to mention that I'm referring to the second piece, South Wind.
