Thank you Quill for doing this loving tribute to Elisabeth Sladen. It's really wonderful, And a fine tribute to Elisabeth's genius for fleshing out an endearing and enduring character in Sarah Jane Smith. I especially admired how you blended the images from all the different era's both onscreen and off. How special to see her with Janet Fielding as well as the SJA cast. Or to see Lis and Tom Baker being chased by the Crinoid. You selected the most appropriate music. Well done indeed.

I have been a fan of Lis since the 1970s when I was very young. I saw her at the N.E.C in Birmingham at the TV Memorbilia fair in 2006 and I wish i had spoke to her as i was only feet away but I was to nervous.

@MrTennant71 Exactly. To be honest RTD said a few words about it himself on the BBC report. I dunno if it was just me but he sounded upset too. I'm just thinking of her poor family, and the younger ones she worked with in sja. If you haven't lost someone before it can be really devastating (not that it isn't anyway).

It truly is a sad day in all science fiction, and for us Dr. Who fans in particular. I saw her on the original series on my PBS station and I thought she did a great a job with what she had to work with as far as scripts go. The new and now current series made her...real. So long Sarah Jane...and may I also say with sadness and grief...farewell Miss Elisabeth Sladen. You are and will be forever missed by us all.
