Like American animation, Japanese animation is ranged from small children to adults, you could just say plainly that you Don't like the sound of english translations, but honestly it probably couldn't be helped by the producer of the show.

More popularity = better voice acting. And honestly, japanese women have too soft of voices in most subtitled anime.
