I'm a 3rd generation in Tel Aviv, lived here all my life and I can tell you this: it's better than this video clip! sometimes I wish i would be a tourist here, and I actually try to feel like one every weekend, going from one cafe to another with my wife. There are more great cities in the world and each has its character and what makes it special, and Tel Aviv also has its own character.

Israel is awesome, especially Tel Aviv. As a gay pagan American/Québécois, I was welcomed overwhelmingly. Even West Jerusalem(the more secular area) had super nice people. I toured Tel Aviv University to study Middle Eastern studies(Arabic, Hebrew) along with French and Russian. I was treated with unbelievable hospitality. And since I was a katrina victim, my entire trip, hotel stay(food and drinks) were covered. Israel is truely a wonderful country.
