  • I was hoping it would take off!

  • Hi guys, im 16 soon getting a moped and i was just wondering how old you have to be to own a bike higher than 126cc+ in uk, i wastold you need to be 21? Is that true ? thanks

  • @donziiwww right..... you can ride a moded up to 33BHP on a CBT.

then you can get a full A2 motorcycle licence when you turn 17, which means you can ride any bike, as long as its restricted to 33BHP again. after 2 years the restriction is automatically lifted and you can ride any size bike, so potentially by the time your 19/20.

or you keep to the moped till your 21 and then do your full, unrestricted A1 motorcycle licence

  • @donziiwww although.... i think the law just changed, meaning you HAVE to be 21 before riding anything bigger than a 125 regardless of if youve been riding on an A2 licence for 2 years

  • @crazycurtis28 Alright, and by the way do you know if a 125cc bike is just as expensive to hold as a car? like car insurance costs etc... not including the license and driving tests ... etc

  • @donziiwww yeah motorbikes/mopeds are normally alot cheaper than cars on both tax and insurance.

for example my cars tax for the year was around £250. but my bike was just £66 for the year

  • @crazycurtis28 Yeah i though so, my mum was telling me the opposite lokl

  • @donziiwww maybe she was trying to put you off the idea.... most mums dont like 2 wheels haha

  • @crazycurtis28 Yeah, she says most riders are organ donors lol

  • I ride a 250 FZR 1987 yeah baby hella alot of fun when she goes past 12rpm she screams like the devil

  • wow, I'm suprised theres no "RIP, Headphone users" on here!

  • @TraumatizedSoclusion na you just have shit headphones....

  • anyone know if the 2007 650r is fuel injected?

  • @capitandelfuego the '08 is... I don't think I've seen any bikes that recent without fuel injection. (Sans the ninja 250r)

  • WoW I would never know something bulit to race would be fast. It's like me buying a toyota prius and GETTING 50+MPG <=O. I can't believe it!

  • i have the same bike

  • i would dislike this video because there was no ninja but there was a cool bike so i liked it =D

  • @NeoTranshuman and what's your FAST bike? I have hit a few times 130mph and anything over will get you in prison for long or in grave for longer... As far as riding with "faster" bikes- I ride with groups and usually pass most of 600 and 1000cc bikes in the twisty roads, it comes to rider skill, not bike power. Some of them are better than me, but they never try to make fun or put down others with smaller bikes. We all have our reasons to choose our ride, so enjoy yours!

  • How big is the rider?

  • sorry that isnt a ninja for me. they should have named it kawasaki 650r oder something like this.

  • @Thierrych3n And what do you ride, can you post some videos??? You may call the Kawasaki factory and tell them they don't know anything about bikes, and they may take you for their next marketing adviser...

  • Gone.....

  • Hi again. If I offended some bikers with my comments, I apologize! I know many guys with 1000cc bikes who are great people and better riders than me, so they can use the extra power... I meant to say- for average rider the 650r has more than enough power to keep us smiling all day long... And don't understand why some others with 600cc try to make fun of our bike. I personally respect even scooter riders,or 250cc dual sport, whatever..Everybody has fun out there. Let's keep good feelings to all!

  • hey,there,where you from>>> got it for 240,,all in,,,

  • @hizonfreed Quezon City.

  • great ride,,,i do ride my 250 in the freeways here in the philippines,,,and i tell you,,,she's a real bitch....

  • @hizonfreed hey man! i'm from the philippines too. How much did you get your Kawi 250r?

  • I've just bought one, collect in next week - can't wait.

  • I just dumped my ninja, scraped it all up, any idea what my insurance is going to do if I place a claim?

  • Looks like the car driver is a blond mom with kids in a car who don't really pay attention to the road while filming the guy... So he did the right thing...

  • @MrThewaffen: What bike is that? 650R is a parallel twin. 600's are usually inline-4, full sport. Your will most likely be faster with less low-end torque.

  • @DoomXexec311: If brakes are mushy, bleed them. Has nothing to do with the bike, everything to do with bad maintenance.

  • @RollingFred100

I bleed my brakes, still mushy. Upgrade to steel lines, you will get much better performance.

  • @SecretLife0007: I'm 5'7", 165lbs. I own a Ninja '09 650R and a '06 Suzuki GSXR 750. You're all good and will fit on anything. Take a Motorcycle Safety Course (MSF) and enjoy the ride. Ninja 650R or SV650 will make great first bikes. After some times, if you like sportsbike, upgrade to full sport. My GSXR weight 50lb less than my 650R by the way, so bigger engine doesn't mean heavier bike.

  • @plehdehgame: Both are very good bikes. I have a '09 650R and clocked 15000 miles in a year, including commuting, mountains and track (yes, you can do track with it). A friend has a sv650 and it looks and runs great... your choice will be a good one, whatever it is.

  • i'm debating between the ninja 650r and the sv650, i like the leaning forward of the sv cause i sat on one... i never sat on the ninja 650r. BUT which bike is more user-friendly considering it will be my first bike? In terms of looks i love the sv look but the ninja is also good looking as well so it's kinda hard to decide. Performance is not an issue both are the same cc's and i probably wont have the skills or talent to bring these bikes to their maximum potential anyways!! Thanks in advance

  • i cant wait to get this bike but mine is only a 600cc not 650 its a 2011 and im only paying 2069 dollars if anyone wants the site to get this bike so cheap il send you the link just message me i like helping people out they also do ATV snow mobils dirt bikes harleys anything you want but the stock is limited

  • did anyone c the free coffie add on the papper 0:29

  • it looks much better with lower handlebar

    nice bike

  • Damn, that actually seemed fast. Didn't expect that from these bikes. I seen quite a few and they seem a bit on the milder side.

  • i have a 250r and it rules!(bit lack of power tho) but i personally think the 250r looks better as the 650r, no offense

  • send me the exhaust type plz!

  • good sound!

  • love that leo vince exhaust. gotta keep saving cash. Future bike right here !

  • @godoffutbol haha NS NS =D

  • How tall is this motorbike rider?

(I'm 6ft 1 and a 15yr old girl and would like to learn to ride a motorbike when I'm old enough, but with my height I'm not sure whether I'll fit on the majority comfortably, forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I know very little about motorbikes)

  • @SecretLife0007 im 5' 11'' and i have a ninja 250 and am comfy on it so i doubt you will be uncomfortable on the 650, hope this helped

  • @SecretLife0007 If you don't weigh very much, you're going to want to be even more careful with the heavier bikes when you're first starting out. You may want to get some good lessons on how to handle the bike and deal with the weight. Learning is a part of the fun though. Take care.

  • @AmyLeesPetWookiee Thanks :) I'm assuming you can already ride pretty well, so how long did it take until you became a competent rider?

  • @SecretLife0007 Not gonna lie, I don't even have a motorcycle yet. I was just giving you advice based on what I learned researching the stuff for months, from those who have been riding. Youtube is a decent place for that. I don't even know what bike I'd choose.

  • @SecretLife0007 Everyone progresses at a different rate. It depends on previous abilities and the control of new abilities. For example, If you know how to use a clutch already, that puts you a step ahead in learning new things on a motorcycle. Practice within your limits and enjoy the learning process, which never ends until you stop riding.

  • your car is dirty

  • This is the bike I want when I sell my 250R. Love the way it looks and handles, good power.

  • This is the ninja 250....!

  • @dannymelissa nope.. 650r

look at the shape of the seat, and the placement of the exhaust pipe. definitely a 650r

  • Well, I love my Ninja and IMO both Suzuki's are VERY UGLY!!! But I respect the people who own them; they have their fun. You will have more adrenalin rush on a bigger bike for sure, but I guess the scooter is better then a car. I had a 03 Corvette Z06- was a GREAT car, but I prefer the feeling of free flying in the air(on a bike) and passing all sports cars....Ride safe and have fun! For all the HATERS on the net- please, keep it for your friends or relatives, nobody here needs it!!!

  • should have dropper her down a gear or two to get the bike into the mid-high rpms. that's where the real horsepower is. then she would have taken off like a rocket.

  • sorry that looks like crap sounds like crap even took off like crap

  • @allmightycr And what do you own?

  • @allmightycr And what's the bike you own that is much better in any way(and is not crap)??? Can you post a video of you taking off on your bike? Love to see that! I've seen many haters like you out there, but most of them can't look at my eyes after passing them several times on our group rides in Santa Cruz mountains...

  • way to go, bro! I love passing ANY car on the road, most of all- Porches...And on the twisties.. I have 09 Ninja 650r, LOVE it. Don't need supersport, I don't do track days. And it's cheap, comfy, gets 50mi/g regular gas, $300/y insurance... Yes, there are much stronger bikes out there, but who NEEDS them, they are for people with complexes, to SHOW OFF...Anyway, I REALLY RESPECT ANY bike riders, even scooters, we are ALL brothers in our love to ride, so let's keep the bitching down, please!

  • @1967vsi i have a 50cc scooter ever since i got it i just fell in love with the feeling.. I i'm saving up to get either a Ninja 650r, Suzuki sv650s, or a Katana 600... i really want the ninja 650r..

  • @Gobliterator if your looking for an sv650, consider a hyosung. its a korean brand the used to manufacture suzukis engines way back when, they share most of there r&d. the gt650r(comet) is basically a sv. i have an 09 model with fuel injection. its as fast as any ninja 650 ive seen and it has more power than the sv. insurance where i live was only gonna be 256 a year. i get about 48 mpgs city riding with alot of playing. chrck them out

  • @1967vsi 50 miles per gal? $300/y insurance?! I've been planning on getting a 650r(never rode on a bike ever) after I pay my property taxes. Can't beat those #s man.

  • @Reyes05 Yes, This is the truth. You buy a new 650r and save gas and insurance or an old, laid down 600, at the end of it's life, and pay twice insurance and gas... But riders of 600s ARE the MEN....Most of them never see a track, ride with jeans and tennis shoes... But the little chicks think these kids own the road, they are the heroes... Well, I've been passing many of them in the mountain roads of Santa Cruz or Big Sur. 650 r have lots of torque and is ideal for twisty roads and city riding

  • yeah get that 650r and don't let anyone talk u into getting a korean bike those things are always in the shop.

  • @1967vsi yeah but the brakes on it are weak... (very mushy) I tried the supersport brakes and my god those are nice!

  • @1967vsi

Having a fast bike doesnt mean you're showing off, Its just the feeling of having more power you can throw down the line.

  • @1967vsi Interesting you should bring up scooters. On my 250cc chinascoot, the only biker-waves I get are from sport bike riders. LOL. Harley people don't even glance at me. Must be a cooler class of people, you sport bikers. I'm getting one btw, though I might just stick with the 250.

Impressive take off though, on that 650.

  • @1967vsi naa i dont ride a big CC bike to show off, i just like the extra power, same reason why you ride a 650R and not a 250r.

i love the look of a gsxr, and quite honestly insurance wize the difrence between a 650R ninja and a 1100gsxr was about 20$ a month. hell the bike was only 3K to buy :)

  • @1967vsi You my friend are awesome.

  • @1967vsi that is so right those guys who do it to show off need to understand it better

i got an sv650 and stripped it naked and my friends find it looks gay i said fck em

  • @1967vsi my '11 cbr1000rr isnt so comfy but still gets gets 38mpg's and my $258/y insurance isnt so bad either. i got respect for the 650r's though. awesome bikes in there own right. ive ridden one once they get up and go pretty darn good considering there a 2-cyl commuter bike. there still faster than just about every car on the road and thats all that really matters :D

  • @1967vsi No.. Fuck scooters.

  • @mason0444 why is that, brother? Let say you have a 600cc, someone with 1000cc will make fun of you. Than someone with Ninja ZX14 or Hayabusa will put them down, than a guy with Desmosedici will come.... I say: We all share the same passion, but have different budget, skill level and self control when decide what to ride. But for me any rider on 2 wheels is my brother! Ride safe!

  • @1967vsi hi brother! i wanna start in the world of motorcycles, i will buy maybe in 2 weeks a suzuki en125 or yamaba ybr 125 as my first bike, :P any advice is welcome...

  • @freego56 Hi and welcome to our world! Both of these bikes don't sell in the USA and I've never seen them. I expect them to be decent city bikes, to take you around... Don't expect Great performance... If you want to start easy and on a tight budget, that's fine. If you can afford something bigger, I would advice at least Ninja 250, it has power to go down the freeways and is a lot of fun on twisty, mountain roads( I go for group rides often and some of the group leaders ride it). Ride safe!!!

  • @1967vsi i have been in the kawasaki dealer in my country, unfortunaly it's to expensive, the ninja 250 is more the $5000, the 2011 model!... i can't afford something like that right now, especially if it my first motorcycle, i went to the suzuki dealer and found a 125 cc, it looks like a suzuki en125, and is $1300, :D so it looks like the best option to start, i only have like $2000 im my budget right now... any other option? btw i'm a little bit small, like 5.3 feet...

  • @freego56 Sorry to hear the 250 is that much. In USA they sell for $3999 + tax NEW and anybody can buy. I admire your wish to ride and keep it in your budget! Any bike will do the job to make you smile! Even a scooter! Have you considered a used bike? I'll advice for used bike for first one-if(when) you drop it you will not be so miserable..And when time to buy another, can sell the used wilt little lost; the new loses a LOT when take it out of the dealer's door...And you afraid to push them..

  • @freego56 try the r125 its the sportbike of the 125cc by yamaha

  • @1967vsi

    That's touching actually. Brother.. ;)

  • @1967vsi 100% right

  • @1967vsi You cant say the only reason people get them is to show off. They go faster....people who get them want more speed. Sometimes its just about living the life you love

  • @Holypaladin6 Go faster than what? I guarantee you 90% of people riding race replicas aren't going faster anywhere than they could on a more relaxed street bike. There's a S load of posers out there.

  • @1967vsi you're the COMPLEX one. first you disrespect, then u respect in you're long comment... like wtf hater

  • @1967vsi You just bitched about Sportbike riders?!

  • @MrGlennKTM how did he?

  • @crackerstolemybike '' they are for people with complexes, to SHOW OFF '' bitching in my opinion

  • @1967vsi your a hero man ;D

  • @1967vsi best comment i've ever read

  • 6 kids jealous that they don't have a Kawasaki Ninja 650 disliked this video.

  • Woah ..... Free coffee sign me up

  • u need to lean a little

  • @Tophairybutt

You are such a tool and BTW your "about me" on your channal is BS and you and i both know it

  • @CrazyIProductions When I click his stupid name a bunch of Anti-American shit came up that he rated. He seems to like dissing America. Maybe he's a fag or something? Yep im sure of it. He's a little Anti-American fag fuck-tart lib-terd bitch. I didnt even bother w/ his "about me" cause I dont give a shit about him. hahaha

  • I own a 2009 Ninja 650 RR it is my first bike and I am loving it! They look damn good too.

  • @Tophairybutt the Queen's English?? Man fuck that bitch. haha You're a "very masculine man"?? you sound fucking retarted trying to post what you look like. Just shut the fuck up and don't look up videos of bikes you think are for "little 14 year-old girls" if all you do is talk shit. from what I've read you sound like you're in your 30's or 40's. Come on your an adult. Act like on!! talking about "you're a man"? You don't sound like one. You sound more like a little kid that wants attention. So

  • jerked the clutch a bit?

  • roger rabbit laugh after he takes off....

  • is that a retard in the backseat or a baby

  • @Godssalerd , No, my name is not Dick. You have me confused with one of your boyfriends. It is not your business what my first name is, but you can guess. No, I do not own a Hardly Davisin because they are junk, just like american built automobiles. The only men and women that run away from me are the americans because they fear me and my superior knowledge. They prefer to stay narrow/small minded and in their own perverted little world. I feel pity for americans, most are so stupid. Ninjas LOL!

  • @nzdrift777 , you are merely an 18 year old moped rider. You better check yourself before you try giving an expert roadracer such as myself any advice. You really need to get some experience under your sequence women's belt! Comparing this bike to a 600cc sportbike is a joke. Go back to work at McDonald's you stupid american boy.

  • @wakeboardkid5 , I don't "hate on you", whatever that may mean. Now stop making stupid accusations and threats against foreign countries! I'm not interested in your compulsions.

  • @Tophairybutt how am i thretaning your country? and my "hating on us", i mean why do you hate us so much. i personally have not done anything to you. and grouping americans together and calling all of us stupid is saying that about almost all religions, and races of humanity. And I am not intersted is someone calling me stupid for the country that i live in! it is great that you love your country, but don't be pissed off at me for no reason.

  • @wakeboardkid5 , Very good, you recognized that "you're" is also a contraction, but it is also possesive...meaning belonging to as in "you are a stupid american". Stupid belonging to the americans! No, my country is one of the few countries the americans have not executed thousands of people. Are you suggesting that you and your country men are planning an attack on us?

  • @Tophairybutt i noticed after that the your thing was correct i read it wrong so that was my mistake. why do you hate on us so much. seriously. it will not help make anything better in the future.

  • Nice sounding bike

  • @th3docta , You have used the incorrect "your", you should've typed "you're". I can see that I'm dealing with an idiot american. Again, thanks to your american education, you are left behind, and FAIL! I hope you enjoy working at McDonald's.

  • @Joey74812 , I seriously doubt that you have ever been in my country, or out of the states for that matter. I don't totally understand what you had typed in your post, since I only understand the Queen's English and not american ghetto English. If you are asking me if I am a homosexual, NO, I am not, so find an american man to sponser you. Yes, I am a verile masculine hairy man, your envy is appreciated. Yes, I do own a motorcycle. Do you own one? Bicycles don't count. You're only 19, LOL!

  • I have been thinking about selling my CBR600RR to buy another 650R. It was much more comfortable and got much better gas mileage. I just can't get over how hott the CBR looks though lol

  • lol wave and GOODBYE

  • NICE FORD F150!

  • Idk about anyone else on this page, but is this tophairybutt a gay brit or what?

  • the hell ...

  • @Cornhole242, you are a girlie american.

  • @Fishburn, I have worked very hard to accomplish a perfectly masculine male body, however, if you are the same height and weight as I am, congratulations. The only problem is that you are only in your early 20s, hardly a real man yet. Keep working at it. You may achieve the success I have in another 25 years, but you must keep working hard at becoming the ultimate masculine man. Hopefully genetics will be good to you, and gift you with lots of body hair like myself, because without it, ...sorry.

  • @Vrublevskogo, I looked on your profile, you have quite a bit of sickle/hammer emblems in your profile. Are you a practicing communist? I hate to tell you this, but communism just doesn't work, and you are fighting a losing battle trying to convert people. You need to read my profile, and you will learn that I am quite a successful man, somebody that you can emulate. I don't mind when people like you emulate me, because it gives you a goal to better yourself.

  • @ Cornaby, I'm the idiot? You are the one who can't even spell properly in the Queen's English. When you typed "Your", that would mean something that I would possess. Like in the following sentence...I should plant my foot up (your) ass! So, I'm sure you meant to type...Tophairybutt, "you're" the smartest and most handsome man on Earth. So Cornaby, now this proves how much of an idiot YOU are!

  • @ ddude55, "I've seen a girl on any kind of bike." What? That sentence doesn't even make any sense! You are correct in calling me "Sir". However, I would wager that my I.Q. is at least 43 points over your average I.Q.. Also, that is the reason that I am successful, and you will be working at McDonald's Restaurant for the rest of your life. Sorry, you FAIL!

  • @Tophairybutt

    thanks for your comment.

  • @dardar188 lol read his bio

  • @Tophairybutt lol what a tool. this guy's just a troll looking for attention. Take a look at his other comments.

  • @Tophairybutt I've seen a girl on any kind of bike. You sir, are retarded.

  • @Tophairybutt your an idiot.

  • @Tophairybutt

    You're so cool.

  • @Tophairybutt Ah, you must be child. Am I correct? " I am 6' tall, 183 pounds, very toned body, very much a masculine man, work out daily, typical of European men, with lots of body hair. " Sounds like you want to date yourself. In addition, you clearly don't know anything about sportsbikes because if you did, you'd know that a 650 is no "14 year old girl's" bike, 650cc bikes are completely sufficient, not to mention they aren't as heavy as 1000cc bikes, so they are much more maneuverable.

  • @Tophairybutt By looking at your channel I can assume that you're just a loser. So stfu.

  • @Tophairybutt sounds like you dont have a life have to talk shit about ppls bikes ypu FAIL

  • @Tophairybutt your an idiot

  • @Tophairybutt Also in your country, people have nothing better to do than go around and talk shit about what other people have. Every video i go to, it has a comment of you hating on it. And how many videos have you uploaded? NONE! Do you have a bike? Doubt it. Does your name make you sound gay? YES! Hairy butt? Lmao. Move along troll.

  • @Tophairybutt i was going to say something like: thats all you fucking have to say? or your probably the gay one for bringing that up.

but your stupid name says it all :D

  • @Tophairybutt its not all about horsepower mate get your facts right. this bike has great low down grunt unlike the supersport bikes so its a joy to ride on the street, take your rude comments elsewhere

  • @Tophairybutt well in our country you probably wouldnt say that to someone. you just cower behind your pc monitor

  • @Tophairybutt y u hating ?

  • @wing911 he is upset that he don't have a bike.... poor him :-(

  • @Tophairybutt ........ your a real dick..... i don't thing u have a a harly and eveen if u did this bike would still kick your ass.... and I bet the men and lady's run away from you.............................. PEOPLE HAVE YOU READ HIS PROFILE.... funny shit hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • @Tophairybutt lol no license for a 650cc bike hey... go live ur fantasy land hater...I smell a biker wannabe that cant get his license because hes too gay :D

  • this exhaust isnt stock right?

  • @squarecnix it's a leo vince

  • @dardar188

    Thumbs up for that.

  • @dardar188 are you sure it's a leo vince because it sounds different from the leo vince videos i have looked up. ?

  • @squarecnix go with arrow for the 650R and get rid of the db killer...absolute best for this bike

  • FZR-6-Ninja650R

  • how many mpg do these bikes get?

  • @ShabaLabaDingDong531 the websites say like 55 but thats being super conservative. some people can do it(Hold clutch and coast to stops and ride in sixth) but normally its aroung 40-45 riding dirty. lol or riding for fun. your choice iof words

  • @ShabaLabaDingDong531 between 40 and 50

  • it's a friends bike. year is 2008 i believe with a leo vince exhaust. and yes it has lower handlebars.

  • @dardar188 May I ask what the handlebar mod is called?

  • @dardar188 how much did your exhaust setup cost?

  • Anyone, are those lower handlebars?

  • this bike is cool... but it is not the best looking

  • @chris627627 its a sport touring looks beefy tho looks compared to the 250r and zx you right

  • kawi is my favorite

  • yes

  • @dardar188 exhagust and year of the bike?

  • those are lower handlebars than stock right?

  • i've had the pleasure of driving one of these, and let me tell you this thing hauls ass!

    Nice vid

  • if it were a 4 cylinder it would really take off.

  • @Indigozek yep but our parallel twin will drag a 4 cylinder around any parkin lot. Muscle baby. LOLOL----I do like a 4 cylinder too, just effin with ya, ride safe.

  • @8TBALL haha, yeah well I actually ride a ninja650. I just get jealous of how fast my friends take off when we're goin 80. But I still smoke em from a stop.

  • @Indigozek lol zx6r

  • ive never understood why some ppl have all their gear 1 color, but then the helmet is another color lol

  • i think i was doing about 70-75mph

  • @dardar188 Brilliant. Great vid thanks!
