I think Im one of those broken deviants. Thats why I found a home in 12 step movement. Ive been broken out the gate of my life. Now welding shattered scattered pieces together. Im one of those went through the bottom. Many levels. free falling. I have my doubts about the 12. Yet I continue to live for some reason. A purpose. I must find a purpose to my life. Looking forward to my college, so i can educate myself. Grow. Cope with this life.

I'm ashamed to say that I've spoken harshly to those who preach the AA program on occasion - especially immediately after leaving the program.

It was a classic case of misdirected aggression, since it was the organization itself that had earned my contempt as a result of investigation, not the fellow victim of the program.

Ironically, it had been me doing the preaching only months earlier.

Very, very good and true. It sounds like what quickcap did to me when I first met him! Had to block him. If that is AA serenity I sure wouldn't want that!!!! Thanks again, I never knew there were others who felt as I did about this farce of a "program"!!!
