@turtleninja101 no, you don't throw 60. If you do, then post a video of you being clocked by a radar gun turtleninja, I'm tired of people gloating about their speed. That doesn't maker you a good pitcher.
Well since this video is 4 years old he should be starting to work on pitching mechanics. For such a young kid he actually does some stuff well. He definitely needs to make sure he doesn't dangle his glove arm while throwing because that arm/shoulder is what pulls the rest of your body through the pitch.
im being trained by a pro baseball player i suggest that u call a like coach or someone to help him he's good no thinking to do about that but if u want him to go pro i suggest a trainer
Damn! For his age haha that's good! If he sticks with it, and gets his mechanics down when he's older, he will be great! I sucked ass at 7 I really got into baseball at age 12 and started playing competitive, which if he likes baseball I recommend. More games, in a more serious atmosphere. Just got back from KU baseball prospects camp, college scouts from across the us were there scouting, and liked me, but I bet if this guy works on it he'd kick my ass haha keep it up!
the best thing to do is dont let him throw a curve till he is 13 to where he can build a dominant fastball, than add on the curve once his arm can take stress
Good luck hawker445 in your baseball career. This is my grandson ... he is 9 now and starting to put things together. Pitching mechanics, etc. The biggest thing is _ he is having fun, always learning and loves the game of baseball.
I just attended the ABCA conference in Texas and listened to many great baseball coaches. Develop confidence in yourself, work on strength and stretching, track your pitches (don't throw if you are fatigued) and stay loose by having fun! Good Luck
wow nice. It definetey would be faster, because if you think about it, the pitchers mound is closer to the batter than centerfield. The league probably don't let you throw of the mound because it would be dangerous for the other kids to face pitches at that speed.
A 98 MPH Change Up? THAT IS BAD! VERY BAD.... YOUR CHANGE UP SHOULD BE 10-20 MPH DIFFERENCE.... NOT EVEN NOLAN RYAN CAN THROW A 98 MPH CHANGE UP WHILE THROWING LIKE 120 FASTBALL....
lol u said it dude a 98 mph pitch is one of the fastest fastballs u can get at the bigs level. The average pitcher in the bigs throws his 4 seam at about 89-95 mph. And a changeup about about 75-80 a 98 mph change up is like a fastball from jon lester lmao
I can believe that if your like 6 feet and there are plenty of kids i know that have that height, just none of them have good enough form to pitch that fast
Yeah, yeah. You'd be in the reccord books for sure if you did. At ten you lack too much in coordinatio nand you don'T even have teh physical strenght to push hard enough. This aside, your joints can't take 86mph fastball.
in my leauge (shitty houseball league) its still fun but i play with a whole bunch of shitty players there was no contest. i was pitching 73 at 48 ft its like a 90mph fastball. now our mounds at 60ft and im throwing 67-71
It doesnt matter if you you can throw 100 mph if you cant control your pitch it better to throw slower and place your pitches than it is to throw fast and walk people
GOOD POTENTIAL.. BE SURE HE STAYS CLOSED AS HE GOES TO PLATE, HE IS OPENING UP TOO SOON AND FRONT SHOULDER IS FLYING OPEN.YOUNGER PLAYERS DO THIS AS THEIR HIPS ARE NOT AS POWERFUL AT THIS AGE.. BE SURE HE DOESN'T PITCH TOO MUCH AT YOUNG AGE, ALSO WORK ON BASICALLY ARM STRENGTH AND CONTROL., no trick pitches or junk. long toss great at this age for building arm strength. most of all have fun !!!!!!!!!!
I love how all you guys argue about who throws hard and who doesnt, its all about location and movement. Velocity is nice, but that comes after you master your control. I'm 15 and i throw mid to high 70's and i have decent success. Doesnt matter how much you pop the glove, its where on the plate you pop it.

yeah im 13 thats what happend to me.. i got a chipped elbow from pitching with a lil slider.. making the ligaments tug on my elbow and it finally chipped.. then i went through all this physical theropy.. and they were gna put me in surgery to put pins in my arm.. but yeah i coultnt pitch for one year. then last year i got to pitch in our penant and then in that game i got us to the championship then we won the championship and then i started pitching each game for the all stars

ive been playin ball all my life and kids always think they throw harder then they really do..go watch some college games where ages range from 18-23 and tell me how fast..70's to the mid 80's. Very few throw upper 80's and 90's so dont say ur 14 throwing 86 bc thats bull..u dont have one vid of baseball just gay airsoft..get one up and id bey u dont break 80 on a gun from 60 ft 6 inches away..o btw..the meijer radar baseball is garbage and its time u throw that away kid
The best pitcher for my JHS team is 14 and he throws 80 he pitched 5 complete games and 2 no hitters Thwn he got hurt (to much lactate in his arm or something weird)he is beast
alright heres for all of you who are saying that its impossible for a kid around 12 or 13 to throw over 80 mph. sometime in the begining of august the little league world series is gonna be on tv. there are 12 to 13 year old pitchers who will be throwing over 80. my friend is gonna be going into highschool next year and he throws 84. and the coach is already talking to him. most kids cant throw that fast yes. but its no where near impossible.
yea right ur just sayin that cuz the 7 yr old is better than u no way u can hit 70 or 80 at 13 what r u super human, if notthan u must be taking steriods yea right my ass ur throwing above 70 at 13 stop telliing fairy tales ur are just a jelous butt munching retard SHUT UP STOP BRAGGING AND LIEING

how fast can this kid throw???
AlFredandBogey 3 years ago
alright heres for all of you who are saying that its impossible for a kid around 12 or 13 to throw over 80 mph. sometime in the begining of august the little league world series is gonna be on tv. there are 12 to 13 year old pitchers who will be throwing over 80. my friend is gonna be going into highschool next year and he throws 84. and the coach is already talking to him. most kids cant throw that fast yes. but its no where near impossible.
