  • Isn't it as long as the shooter is on the ground and it is after the ball has left his hand it isn't a foul?

  • Man Tim Duncan is like the best-not even because of that shot! He is a constant reminder of what basketball and sports are truly about- teamwork, hard work , and sportsmanship

  • why shaq gave that much help is beyond me

  • 3 years ago..DAMN

  • HOLY SH!T HELL YEAH

  • This was one of the best playoff games that year but I couldn't see cuz my newstation was giving away a free house and they had the giveaway at the time slot when the game was gon be on.

  • he got hit too. easily could've been a 4-pt play

  • oood gold dum tincan

  • EPIC 3 pointer from THE GREATEST PF EVER

  • tim = legend

  • i remember watching this, omfg spurs never fail ;D

  • Tim was too far for Shaq try and stop him so he didn't even bother. lol

  • Greatest three pointer ever!

  • i felt like shooting myself when that happened...

  • hahaha....travel at 0:36

  • @hardcoreharcourt LOL I SAW THAT TOO!

  • @hardcoreharcourt it was 2 steps

  • aside from the championships, the greatest spurs moment of my life

  • lol im surprised he didnt bank it

  • That celebration was badass.

  • Was this the played Greg meant to execute?

    LoL?

Damn He must have a shitload of trust in duncans ability to make that 3.

  • Tim Horry

  • hahahahaha

  • i watched dis game wtf duncan is amazing dis

game and suns suck after dis loss

  • tim duncan is far too talented down in the post for him to be spending his time on the perimeter

  • To the people saying he travelled. Watch it closer. His left foot is moving as he catches the ball and once he has possession of the ball, his left foot is set as his pivot, he then moves his right foot forward to set up for the shot. Its close, but a player is allowed to have his foot in motion as he catches the ball and use that foot as the pivot. This is not a travel.

  • Hell yeah timmy. Rip their fucking hearts out!!!!!!

  • Look like he traveled.

  • Who cares...That was pure clutch!!! Lol wow duncan you should shoot 3's more often ;)

  • suns fans crybabyes...."ref got payed" bla bla bla bla......play some basketball and win...THEN talk....after losin to the spurs that many times (when it counts, playoffs) you all still think its an easy team...when will you learn its a CHAMPIONSHIP team?

  • so far this is the best quality video of the hundreds posted. yep, go cry suns fans, it hadn't happened, and prolly won't happen now.

  • u guys r idiots havent u heard of a pivet foot morons lol tim drained that joint

  • he fucking travel

  • Hahaha, u called adjusting ur feet a travel? U must be fucking retarted. Before u make a stupid call like this, find out what is a travel in the NBA. It's three steps fool.

  • LOL? 2 steps fool.

  • Hahaha, another fool in youtube. If it was two steps, they will call a travel every time someone drives in for a lay up, idiot. Why don't u look up the NBA rules and find out for urself? The Spurs move on to the next round and there's no excuses this year. So suns fans, deal with it. Spurs are just too much for the suns.

  • wow lols. 3 steps = a travel

the most you could take is 2 steps..not 3

3 is a travel. kobe/lebron drives in for a layup especially on a fastbreak, many people think they travel but they actually take only 2 steps cause on the "1st step" he has the ball in one hand then 2 hands and takes the 2 steps..

  • Exactly, that's what I'm saying. 3 steps is a travel.

  • i still cannot believe sun have lost *sob

  • yo he fuckin travel! that fuckin ref didnt blow the whistle cuz he got piad like last year in game 4

  • Watch the game again and u will see that the game was more in ur favor than the spurs. There was a lot of fouls that they didn't call when the spurs got fouled and u guys got every single call. And u call that a travel when duncan made the three pointer? Hahaha, u must be a comedian. Stop crying and accept reality. The spurs are gonna win the series because the suns can't beat them.

  • smh who cares if he travel all that matters is the fuckin ball went in so give credit

  • But don't listen to these suns' fans cry babies. They are just looking for excuses cuz they lost the game. He didn't travel at all, I saw the replay and all he was doing was adjusting his feet and made the shot. In fact, there was a lot of fouls that the spurs didn't get the call and the suns got every single call and the spurs still won. That proves they are the best.

  • All he did was adjusting his feet, that's all. Lifted one foot, staying in the same place without moving forward, just adjusting his foot, then he put down that foot and lifted the other foot, staying in the same place without moving forward, just adjusting that other foot for a nice 3 point shot. It is not even called a step just so u know. Learn the NBA rules before making a comment like this. U just probably scared of the spurs cuz u know they will eliminate the lakers if they beat utah.

  • duncan is the fuken best pf ever

  • no way kevin garnett is !

  • i agree, but this isn't the case. he catches the ball with both his feet the floor, and after he catches it he makes 2 steps. this is how i see it. of course it's true that travelling isn't called much in the nba, and on plays much more obvious than this one (i don't know why)

  • too bad he traveled. look at 0:07, or 0:31 or 0:36

  • Actually Serjycalstryke, if you look at it his left foot would have been his pivot as he was in the process taking the step when he recieved the ball, his right foot was the foot that took the step for spotting up to take the shot, pretty much any nba player has to spot up to take a clutch shot. A player isnt penalized for a step he was taking in route to catch a ball, the traveling rule doesnt apply until he receives possession then takes his full steps.

  • nope, he caught the ball first step (which is allowed right when u get the ball), his 2nd step is okay because he didnt leave his pivot foot

  • even if he did the refs won't call it at that stage....blowing the whistle at that point would definitely be more controversial...

  • yep, the ref would probly get ejected like that clown crawford. the travel didn't affect the shot and he moved what, 2 inches?? good shot by my fav all time player, timmy is immortal son!

  • thats was bullcrap his first 3 point in the whole season why did he have to make it there!! against my suns suns woulda won but everybody got fouled out

  • maybe they should stop fouling then lol...such a baby...

  • Seems to me like someones making excuses for their loss? I guess its to be expected when your dealing with a dynasty. Suns came out really agressive, not bad if you intend on playing a 4 qtr game. Anyone whos been watching the playoffs for finals would know that the Spurs have the tendency for late comebacks. As for Timmys 3 pointer being bullcrap, after all he is a professional athlete, what would the playoffs be if not for last second heroics, youd be singing a different tune if it was Shaq.

  • lmao if it was shaq id be cracking up that would be a sight

  • LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Duncan is a fucking legend.

(He probably should have swung it to Parker in the corner though...)

  • Robert Horry gave Duncan the magic touch!

  • Maybe it wasn't a set play in the sense that it is designed for Duncan to take a 3, but it is a classic big man/high post set that draws the other team's big guy (Shaq) away from the basket to allow better penetration by either Ginobili or Parker. Once Shaq sees that Duncan has a wide open 3, he quits on the play. This is just terrible D. The Suns are up by 3, so even if Manu drives and scores, the Suns are still up by one with only three or four seconds left in the game.

  • it wasnt a set play, in the interview with duncan afterwards he said he had no clue it was going to happen, it was just great play from manu to draw shaq and realise that tim had the wiiiiiiiiide open shot, an he had good faith in duncan to make it. suns made sure that finley and parker were covered in the corners, no one would have bet on duncan making that shot, incredible play though.

    the spurs will repeat!

  • Amazing that that was his first of the season. If a guy like Duncan attempts 20 field goals each game, then that means that..........out of nearly 1,700 shots taken, this was his first 3-pointer?

  • no u retard all the shots hes taken werent 3s..

  • Of course I know that, but still.....that he makes so few 3-point attempts, is interesting. Each plays to his own strength I guess.

  • Duncan ROCKS!!!!!!!!!! Nobody guessed he could make crutch shot!!!!
