I have the Samsung Intercept and I noticed yours looks different (wake screen, home screen and top task bar look different). I have updated it but maybe mine didn't actually update? Mine looks pretty much the same as it did before the update. When I check my phone for updates it says my phone is already updated. Can you please tell me what your Samsung Intercept says under Firmware Version? Mine says "2.1-update1". Thank you

@xoClaireAliceox if you got the update you should be android version 2.2.2 . I posted another video for people who are still stock but never got the update. how to manually update. But first you should back up contacts, calendar, and anything else you wan to save such as mms to sd card. Perform a hard reset (see video I posted how to do that) to eliminate any possible issue, reboot. check for update through phone (menu, settings, about phone, system updates. if nothing then ..cont....

This update is for stock Samsung Intercept only or you will get and error number like 7. look at you kernel version and match it to the one show in video to see if you are stock. if you are wanting to perform the root hotspot video I also posted for intercept, get the 2.2.2 update first. let me know how it goes.

@edward18361 Lower the number the less sensitive to light less grainy. outside bright light, and standing still lower iso. dim, inside, higher action shots higher iso. the high you go the grainier you will get but less dark the picture with out use of a flash and hard shadows. you can leave it on auto or you can play with it and try to guess better then the camera. but don't forget to put it on auto when done or next time you open camera for quick shot it will look off and miss the moment.

@oKritical I can tell you from reading the specs for the Samsung Transform Ultra the screen resolution is less, screen size GUESSING about 3.5" or little less, has snapdragon 1ghz, it looks like it might only be 1900 cdma too, the ROM is less at only 1GB, 3MP back camera less & flash w/ vga forward camera, wifi is just b&g, Nobody stating RAM amount. Boost did that too with prevail wouldn't say how much till release. no hdmi out and few things less but physical keyboard and gingerbread

@jbreezyswagrus as frustrating as the slow GPS lock is on the triumph to me. I still prefer the Triumph. I still have my Optimus V and can easily swap back and I continue to stay with the Triumph. That is why I recommend only purchasing from a local retailer that will give a full refund if you find that is not working for you. You can always wait for LG Optimus Black that might be coming out OCT. Black willNOT outperform the triumph atALL speed wise but will have brighter screen and sadNO hdmi.

So it depends on your service area. see my video on Triumph love or hate. those in very lower service areas need to be aware of some things. Triumph not a perfect phone but it may be a great phone for you. For me I wanted the better camera, adobe flash support, and bigger screen, and more supported apps so I currently use Triumph. But if low service area that you don't need all that extra stuff and want reliability now Optimus

Optimus black looks like a good phone as well and selling point will be better screen (differences in hardware) but with sale of 30% off till 20th hurry... doesn't hurt to try triumph cause everybody has a different experience. You don't like it exchange for optimus. you will know with in 24hrs of testing everything out if it is for you.

@Rjs3611 yes I too suggest reading best buy reviews. that is why I made video that went over just the Triumph and things you should be aware of called Triumph Love or Hate. though not everybody has same experience most all complain about slow lock on GPS and slightly lower antenna signal. though download showsame. I am going to try changing a file in the system to see if that helps. as soon as I can video tape processes and results. I won't post what I can't prove. Or direct to more information.

@Rjs3611 Um dude I have one, it's flawless. I mean any android phone is going to have problems, even the almighty htc evo has bugs and quirks. For the money the triumph is the best phone. Please we've got a 1900 mhz overclocked kernel now! Trust me I dev on android phones alot and the triumph is the best, but if you can't afford it go for the optimus v because it is like 100 times better than the intercept.

There have been times that my service was disrupted and they said wait 72 for fix. I did a swap to rumor and a swap back to my regular phone and didn't have to wait 72 hrs to reset my service LOL when I called in on second swap back I just told them I lost my phone and found it. My fix took 30 min.

@victoriaisntsosecret this is the updated intercept running android version 2.2.2. it still sucked performance wise. it does have a great camera for pictures and external speaker for music, physical querty keyboard (though spongy and flat) but that's about all I can say nice about it. akkk video recording was the lowest resolution capture and fps of these phones cause the cpu can't handle it.
