Es la primera vez que escucho esta canción, y antes de llegar a los 20 segunos ya sabía que me encontraba delante de una increíble canción de una de las mejores bandas de la historia.
Many artists may seem "over-glorified", but if you look at their work in its context, you'll realize that they changed things, introduced new forms of human expression. And that's something I tip my hat to, even though I'm not a fan of Warhol.
I used to think so too. It shows everything Dawkins' wrote about concerning ideas, though. This is how she goes, but THIS is an example of how she goes well.
This is a guess, but I would say the guitars are probably fender strats through a vox AC30 amp, and the distortion on the lead is probably from a Fuzz Face pedal.
the rest of their songs doesn't sound a bit like this, it's just the another view album that's differs a lot from their other, well every album is different in a way, just listen for yourself, good times will come with the following listens ;)
Guitars can speak louder than words.

Gorgeous, understated and half of what lead to everything I love about music. The other half is everything else this band did. Wow.

modern bands just CANT better this and other velvet underground stuff! why are most modern bands so obsessed with perfect production and clothes?
these guys just play it from their heart and favourite drugs! honest music, even when they lie!

i heard this song 200 times in a row,it s so addictive the chords,the solo,the final solo,the drums.
i should replace religion for the velvet underground music wich is surely more espiritual.

andy's 'art' is way way way over-glorified. and the band seemed to try too hard to look cool

do u know anything about what guitars, amps are used ? the lead is amazing, think he just hits an overdrive pedal for the second lead part

23issues 2 years ago
In bar chords, it's D, A, Bmin, A, G, A, D.
You can probably work out the rythm, and if you don't know the chords they won't be hard to find.

Well, i wonder, too: i got the Peel Slowly And See Box and was a bit disappointed that with all that's on it, this is not. Where to get it?

Supposedly Warhol once said that while the Velvets existed 'only 10000 ever bought a Velvet Underground record, but everyone of them started a band.'
dizzarch1 2 years ago 2
I think Brian Eno said that.
