  • Guitars can speak louder than words.

  • Gorgeous, understated and half of what lead to everything I love about music. The other half is everything else this band did. Wow.

  • This reminds of All along the Watchtower by jimi.

  • THIS IS A MASTERPIECE IN MEMORY OF ANDY!!!!! THANK YOU FOR POSTING IT!!! I LIKE IT BETTER WITHOUT WORDS!!!!

  • ( Sniff sniff ) ... What is that funny smell

  • WHY IS THIS NOT ON ITUNES?!

  • yes this stands on its own

  • Brilliant...always chill me out when I need to...

  • Crimson and cloveresque styling

  • a somewhat close look at a time and moment that has passed.Wont happen again and those there when it did grow fewer day by day.Their finest moment.

  • Religion

  • Makes me think of being on the beach in the 1950s.

  • khreat, thanks!!!!!!!(7)

  • Beginning at 0:52. One of the coolest, most brilliant photos Ive ever seen. Nice. Thanks for putting this up.

  • Sterling Morrison was the man - this is beautiful guitar work.

  • 人の生きる悲しみと、希望を表現した曲だと思います。

    素晴らしい曲、僕は大好きです。

  • I love this song

  • The main riff is magic.. what a great band

  • modern bands just CANT better this and other velvet underground stuff! why are most modern bands so obsessed with perfect production and clothes?

these guys just play it from their heart and favourite drugs! honest music, even when they lie!

  • i'd dance meself to certain death if i had this track on repeat all the time, absolutely BEEEEEEYOOOOOOTIFUL!!!!

  • i heard this song 200 times in a row,it s so addictive the chords,the solo,the final solo,the drums.

i should replace religion for the velvet underground music wich is surely more espiritual.

  • @tinchoguitar5 I think your right. There truely Gods.

  • Bloody hell, I never thought I'd find a song that can compete Pink Floyd's Echoes....

  • Electric guitars $29.95, How do they do it.....The Velvet Underground!

  • Es la primera vez que escucho esta canción, y antes de llegar a los 20 segunos ya sabía que me encontraba delante de una increíble canción de una de las mejores bandas de la historia.

  • I feel I can fly *-*

  • but the words?

  • Words would disturb this cosmic beauty.

  • @ohrenrabe33 yeah, i've heard a number of versions of this song and this one is the best, esp. w/the glockenspiel [sic]

  • @twobit211 you're and idiot, pal

  • @itsnotgoodforme Lou recorded this song on his first solo album. It's not terrible, but this is a lot better.

  • very Luna.fuck...luna stole thir sound off this song,

  • @stankler thats true. and i saw luna open for lou reed once. thats balls!

  • Andy Warhol -- a lunatic talented artist, source of fashion inspiration nowady.

  • @peakclouds warhol had nothing to do the the production of the velvet music or sound

  • i want to walk down the aisle to this.. is that weird??

  • @cara1988 I think this would actually be very appropriate for that.

  • this song is so fucking beautiful.

  • if your high this song makes you feel like your vibrateing

  • Never been into them but this is beautiful.

  • @carb13 Same here

  • this was one of elliott smith's favourites.

  • Praise music

  • Damn... Everybody here knows how to make MUSIC. I'm only appreciating VU as a listener... I have to keep up with you all!

  • the best version <3

  • oh yes, the velvet underground is a band with that kind of fans on the brink of blindness

  • Many artists may seem "over-glorified", but if you look at their work in its context, you'll realize that they changed things, introduced new forms of human expression. And that's something I tip my hat to, even though I'm not a fan of Warhol.

  • I used to think so too. It shows everything Dawkins' wrote about concerning ideas, though. This is how she goes, but THIS is an example of how she goes well.

  • awesome! not heard this version before. sweet. cheers for uploading this!

  • this is my favorite version of this song and i cant find it anywhere. thanks a million for posting!

  • John Frusciante does a pretty good job too,

but its live and like 1 minute

  • Play 6th's on the 3rd and 1st strings and you'll get it.

  • soooooo dope

  • TUUNE

  • Moe's beautifully understated drumming, as usual, is the highlight. :)

  • thanks alot will have a go now

do u know anything about what guitars, amps are used ? the lead is amazing, think he just hits an overdrive pedal for the second lead part

  • This is a guess, but I would say the guitars are probably fender strats through a vox AC30 amp, and the distortion on the lead is probably from a Fuzz Face pedal.

  • beautiful ...Any know where u can find guitar tabs for this ? i dont seem to be able to find it

    cheers x

  • In bar chords, it's D, A, Bmin, A, G, A, D.

You can probably work out the rythm, and if you don't know the chords they won't be hard to find.

  • Well, i wonder, too: i got the Peel Slowly And See Box and was a bit disappointed that with all that's on it, this is not. Where to get it?

  • from the album called Another View

  • i like this better than the vocal version..where does this recording come from?

  • my velvet fav. memories...

  • Fuckin' beautiful...

  • bah!..sou wonderful, this song.... it reminds of good old times.... :)

  • Me too FallenAngelXDD...innocence...

  • i thought this was the song from school of rock with the cool bass intro

  • Supposedly Warhol once said that while the Velvets existed 'only 10000 ever bought a Velvet Underground record, but everyone of them started a band.'

  • I think Brian Eno said that.

  • can you tell me what is the song with that bass intro; cant find it on School of Rock Soundtrack list.

  • yes so did i! do you know what song is that?

maybe it was done for the movie since it fits so well in the visual parts...

  • first time i hear for them, but they are really good

  • the rest of their songs doesn't sound a bit like this, it's just the another view album that's differs a lot from their other, well every album is different in a way, just listen for yourself, good times will come with the following listens ;)

  • Best band ever!

  • The instrumental version just takes you off into space

  • @Lovegood44 its the only version

  • I've been looking for this song for so long. Thanks for posting!
