3800 v6 3.8L ldle problem! 2000 grand prix.

Not sure if you fixed this yet, but seems to be the idle control valve

Could be the map sensor (aka) mass air flow sensor

my 2000 grand prix se idles the same way after. when i start it, i goes a little above 1000 rpms, drops below 500 and then goes back up and has the idling problem. did the o2 sensor work at all?

o2 sensor, my 2000 grand prix gt did the same thing and i let it go until one day it wouldnt stay running and i had it replaced... that was 30k miles ago so its a pretty easy fix. cost me like 250-300 done at a chain tire shop.
