not all dhimmi's are treated the same, depends on who the ruler of the Islamic ruled nation they live in is. In some cases the trement of dhimmi's can be good and they can gain poistions of power and influence. Maimonides comes to mind. There is no way out of Islam, the punishment by Islamic Sharia Law is DEATH for apostates of Islam.
When the majority of a country is Muslim there are three choices for non-muslims:
1. Convert to islam
2. Submit, live as a second class citizen and pay Jizyah(tax)
3. Death by beheading if you refuse option 1 or 2.
It's not a religion, it's a system. And that system is trying to destroy freedom, like in Iran for example...

There is something very fishy going on in Europe. There are already far too many fast breeding Muslims that are unassimilable, and irreconcilable with the West, sworn implacable enemies of its values and culture, and yet the leftist dhimmi governments are bringing in more and more of them. This is how muslim 'logic' works: Under the dhimmi pact they refuse the non-muslim population the right to bear arms so they can defend THEMSELFS and they refuse the non-muslims to serve in the army. Thus the non-muslims are rendered completely defenseless and then the muslims step in offerring them 'protection' in exchange for which the non-muslims need to pay up heavy taxes (basically it's just extortion money) and accept to live like second class citizens.

not all dhimmi's are treated the same, depends on who the ruler of the Islamic ruled nation they live in is. In some cases the trement of dhimmi's can be good and they can gain poistions of power and influence. Maimonides comes to mind. Than again Obama is presdent but that dosen't mean racism dosen't exest.. In other cases dhimmi's are treated like 4th or 5th class citzens. Regaurdless the dhimmi is something that no tolerant society should ever allow, impose or except.

Where is the proof for all these false claims? The Jizyah was an affordable tax which gave non-Muslims rights and freedom to remain in their own religions. The tax made them exempt from serving in the Muslim military. Their lives, property and places of worship were protected by the Muslims forces. History is full of examples of the Islamic Empire protecting Jews and Christians. Jews and Christians did serve in Islamic Governments.
