  • DinGO Babieess...

  • i dnt get it what is it about?

  • why are so many people being abusive towards australians...

  • great film

  • I love how the main actor loses his shit for real and goes all crazy writing messages on the ground around his rented out properties. Total Ledgend

  • Probably one of the scariest, or at least most disturbing, Australian horror films. Based on true events incorporates Peter Falconio's disappearence as well as the Ivan Milat killings. Also, the mine in which they use in the film as Mick's lair was home to a murder of a woman and locals thought, at the time of filming, that the movie was based on that.

If you want to, head over to Truly Disturbing . com to read It Came From Down Under: Wolf Creek

  • How bout i cut yer tits off eh?... Cut yer tits off?...

You're all the same you foreign cunts. Weak as piss.

  • its funny cause, what like, a real lot of horror films based on true events in america have been made, you dont see people saying 'avoid america. thats the message of the flm'

fuck sake you guys are a bunch of dingo wankers

  • @DukeSecom Cause no one really expects to see a good Aussie film. And when you see one, it kinda freaks you out if you get what i'm saying. Right now you might think that a certain small country might be safe and looks great...but you don't expect much from them or really know too much...and if they make a horror film that says the same shit then you'd be freaked out cause u don't really know what the actual country is like. In other words, ppl outside Aus don't know this country very well.

  • @DukeSecom And when a good movie like this gets heard about, they think that Aus is all about this. But since everyone watches American films, we know what's bs and what's not. Further demonstrations of what a country seems like to an ignorant person who's never been to it, makes em think of how it really is through a film..

  • turns out this was actually insurance fraud....never found the bodies or the killer and reckon they saw the woman in south america recently

  • alcohol kills

  • It is actually based on a true story. There were 2 people from the UK on there honeymoon. The husband got killed but the wife managed to hide and get away the next morning. I know this because the womans best friend used to work with my mum

  • @ThatHipHopEffect that a lie it is not based on a true story it is based on many stories the story you are talking about is the murder of peter falcone look it up smart one!!!!!!!

  • @SuperMaxoman fuck you, who the fuck are you to call me a liar?! Cunt. And it's actually peter falconio, and yes, that is what it means when it says 'based on true events'. Knob

  • doesn't look that scary.

  • This was originally a reality show.

  • i live in australia, you dont hear people going "oh, lets avoid america because of all the that go there get killed at night. Its a movie, and its not based on an actual event. Its based of a couple of different things when they say "actual events" The characters arent real people, but the murder is based on a real person with a different name who actually kidnapped people by stuffing the car, pretending to help them, taking there to an unknown area and then killing/torturing/raping them.

  • Not a bad Aussie movie - along with Mad Max 1 & 2, Chopper and Romper Stomper.

  • This is why I dont go camping.

  • dammit i liked that actor before i watched this! :(

  • so is this the austrailain version of wrong turn

  • caranba ainda tem gente comentando sobre esse filme

  • The Human Centipede and the old-timer Delierance were way better than this. This crap reminded me of Hostel.

  • ivan milat

  • Based on true events my arse!! The only thing true about it is that people live in Australia.

  • @Willowman35 it actually is based on true events, based on, so a little tweak. but the people in australia are NOTHING like this bloke.

  • It's like watching House Of Wax all over again! .. at least House of Wax was better.

  • looks RLY FUCKING GOOD!!! gotta watch sumtime

  • "based of true events" lmfao

  • @jhonnykiller90 its not funny coz it is you fuck head

  • @MrGAWQ if you say soo -_-

  • One of the few Slasher-Type Movies that I really enjoy, it's cleverly done and has a really great and nasty villain. Check it out!

  • wtf, this movie is so unrealistic

  • @ekall100 the film is based on the Ivan Milat backpacker murders

  • @tuzza688 i am aware...however, it is so disturbingly inaccurate.

  • Comment removed

  • avoid australia

that's the message of this film

  • @bluewhale18 Oh really now?

  • @bluewhale18 Haha i just watched this movie on tv with my uncle and i said i would never go to australia haha xd

  • @bluewhale18 i live in australia, fml

  • @bluewhale18 Australia isnt like that, i live there so i know. Remember they say "based on true events" NOT "based in a true story" There is a big difference between the 2. Heres a website quote --> "The character of Mick Taylor, the seemingly friendly and helpful bush bloke, is modelled on Ivan Milat. Milat was a serial killer who picked up hitchhikers and took them into the woods where he tortured and killed them." That was 1 person, not a country. Also, Those kids arent based on people

  • @bluewhale18 i live in australia and i aviod the outback

  • he is such a dickhead, but his laugh at the end is sooo cute!

  • the movie is not very scary but quite gory

  • The one thing i LOVED about this movie is the realism. What I mean is that most people are killed by people they know. Not some no name guy with a hook and a mask that makes 27 second collective appearance in the entire film.

  • this film scared me and my friends sooo much, I hate it when films are based on a true story, then you think the killer will get you!!! I had to go sleep in my mum and dad's room.......lol

  • @minniefluff9595 hahaha me too!

  • Crap. I've seen movies like this before. There so predictable and not scary.

  • Never know where I might.... POP UP! Comedy Gold!

  • WARNING: Do not scroll down and read the comments, they are all SPOILERS!

  • My first thought was when I fully watched this movie...was WTF?? This isn't right...how can ppl be murdered at that's the end of the movie...in most horror situations...it is imperative too survive the killer...not be killed by him...and typical...the guy does not get killed...but the females do...that is so sexists!! LOL!!

  • i watched this and its pretty scary

  • this is one of my favorites

  • I remember watching this movie when I was 10 years old...that's where all my fears of being in the middle of nowhere bega

  • Let's go outback tonight.

  • Wolf Creek was a top movie.. but The Loved Ones was a bit better thou.

  • "Based on true events" ohhh fuckk me

  • reminds me of train.

  • This was the scariest film EVER!!!

  • Very good Australian shocker, reminds me of other shockers like Last House on The Left, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies, Maniac, Henry:Portrait of a Serial Killer and Funny Games. Who agrees?

  • good movie not great

  • OLA NECESSIITTOOOOO Lika SomBooooooooooooDEEE

  • great movie!

  • the scary part of this movie is that it's realistic, and based off a true story. Though, I must admit, the dog scene scared me.

  • @cacticrisis It's very loosely based on a true story. Really it should of said inspired by a true story because it takes events from the Ivan Millat who picked up hitch-hikers around sydney. He actually cut peopleup and tortured them etc. Then it takes events from that murder in the outback involving two british people travelling around australia and a man who stopped to help them and killed the man, letting the woman escape.

  • why is it always white people that get in troble.

  • Worst horror film I have ever seen.

  • @Segeric may i just take this time to say... GO FUCK YOURSELF!!!

  • @mickelwick Why you mad? I just stated my honest opinion. I hated this movie.

  • @Segeric why, it is the epitome of horror, it is australia's greatest achievement, it makes saw look like a pussyfest!!! how can you not love this if you love horror movies!!!!!

  • @mickelwick If this movie is Australia's greatest achievement I feel sorry for them.

  • @Segeric ...you suck cocks...

  • @Segeric Watch The Human Centipede Part 2. Now that's violent and bad.

  • Every time we go on school camp, we camp in the bush, and the guys in my tent would whisper stuff like "don't let ivan milat get you" or "ssh i think i hear ivan milat." At any other time, that wouldn't be scary. but then you're stuck in the australian bush in the middle of nowhere its fucking scary. >3>

  • I'm proud to be aussie

  • Oi gtrville! Whoever the bloody hell you are! Dont be trashing out australians mate!! This flim is bloody good! So we dont bloody need to go back to flipping joeys!!! You flamin mungrul !!!

  • I watched this when I was 9- biggest mistake of my life

  • @TheElectrichearts how was it? :\

  • This stupidity of characters in horror movies really annoys me. There's a scene in this movie where one character shoots the killer in the neck. She's clearly not sure if he's dead, but just leaves him lying there on the ground. Wtf they're out in the middle of nowhere and can't get help. Why does she not bash his head in with the back of the gun or a rock or something to insure that he's dead? Then they wouldn't have to worry about him waking up and hunting them down.

  • @Chloe24ify

It's A MOVIE! If they do that then the is will be SHORT & the People watching will be PISSED! Understand?!

  • @Chloe24ify lol true every horror movie has really dumb chatacters

  • @Chloe24ify Well put mate, well put.

  • @Chloe24ify Could not agree more!!!! Lol xD

  • @Chloe24ify And why didn't they have mobile phones??

  • @Chloe24ify but then it would be a shitty movie

  • @Chloe24ify I totally agree but this is what makes movies and what gives them cult status. It's not real life it's the movie life and it's genius.

  • @Chloe24ify I think that to myself all the time too

  • @Chloe24ify Double Tap!

  • @Chloe24ify OMG! THANK YOU! I watched this last night and that fucking scene pissed me off the whole way through the movie, I kept yelling at the screen like a retard "THIS WOULDN'T BE FUCKING HAPPENING IF YOU HAD JUST FUCKING FINISHED HIM!!" Ugh! People....

  • @Chloe24ify yes i always think that in movies, like when someone has a chance to kill the bad guy but hesitate or talk then end up getting killed or like in this film. i doubt that would happen in real life but i suppose it would make a boring film if they just killed him and got away lol

  • @Chloe24ify because it's a movie.

  • @Chloe24ify I was screaming this at my tv for a solid 10 minutes. :)

  • @Chloe24ify haha fucking true man....

  • @Chloe24ify its true bet then the movie is like: Boom killer is dead... the end and noone likes that

  • @Chloe24ify yeah i thought the fucking same ! hahaha

  • @Chloe24ify if she did that it would have been real life and thus not A MOVIE MADE FOR BRAIN NUMBING ENTERTAINMENT.

  • I didn't like this movie all too much.

I mean, it was good and all, but there was never any ... hard to explain. If you expect splatter, gore and pure horror, this movie would not be something for you, since it's more about setting the atmosphere and wanting you to think of what happened to them.

It was a one-time-watch for me, wouldn't watch it again, if I had the chance to revert the time back. But if I would do that, I would be a millionaire and make my own movies!

  • sooo glad i didn't watch this before going to WA this summer !

  • @Charlotteking32 idk if this is true but today my teacher said that the dude that they are referring to in this movie buried people in a forest somewhere and got locked up for it and now his nephew just got locked up yesterday for killing ppl and apparently said "it runs in the family" O.0 (sorry if you didn't wanna hear the bunch of crap I just wrote :p) but the point is no he is not ^.^

  • @gtrville89 i know it was. i didn't say in the movie is exactly how this man murderd people, but he did do this to many people and he is still out there.

  • @gtrville89 have you even seen it?? its not dumb, this stuff actually happened. and there are like no kangaroos to film unless you don't have a life.

  • this movie is great. very intense, some scenes it felt like you were right there with them while everything is happening. this is more scarier then paranormal activity ,or some ghosts cause it could actually happen.

  • But that guy is super hardcore

  • Now this guy is a proper psycho, to say he was an evil bastard is an understatement. The first time he appears in the movie, you just know he has very bad intentions, very creepy laugh as well. Just don't watch it if you are a backpacker planning on heading to Australia anytime soon lol!

  • I live in WA like omg im scared o_O

  • @pokingu2death LOL me too! It reminds me of driving in the bush- its creepy :P

  • @pokingu2death bro, us noongas would kill all of dem

  • i cant believe this came out on Christmas!!! :O

  • @motzlegend I felt inspired

  • his laugh, :s

  • i felt depressed after watching this, does anyone else feel the same? please reply

  • @motzlegend i didnt actually, why would you feel depressed specifically after watching this?

  • @wow3214 not the trailer, the actual movie, i have watched very few of these types of movies and i found some scenes depressing, i'd talk to you more, but I'd have heaps to say..

  • @motzlegend well people get tortured and killed, so i guess that can make you depressed, if you take these kinds of movies too seriously. but why would you watch them if thats the case? ;)

  • @wow3214 yeah i realized that i dont like seeing people get tortured and killed, thanks for talking to me friend :)

  • @motzlegend sure mate, keep it up

  • PRESS 9

    HHHHHUURRRRRMMMUURRRHEHEHEHEE

  • I hated this serial killer guy!

  • Worst serial killers are from yorkshire england i think should have been set then

  • This is one the most scariest shit I've ever seen. I could sort of relate to it because I was doing a roadtrip with a friend on the east coast of Australia 1988...and that makes this flick even more frightening.

This serialkiller who Mick Turner's character is built upon was in action about the time we were there. So the police went out with warnings and stuff...

  • this is the freakiest movie I've ever seen... I love it though.

  • can I just clear something up with everyone. the kidnapping part was based around one true event involing some stalker. The murdering part is based on the killings of Ivan milat (which were very gruesome in some cases)

  • They are so many opportunities for them to kill this guy, but that never happens. Funny that.

I'd have bashed him over the head with the thermos from behind and taken the truck as soon as he showed up, its the outback who'd know. That'll scare the shit out of you old man.

  • Hi, does anybody know wich car did they drive in their travel?

  • Very good true story horror movie in the tradition of Last House on The Left, Maniac (1980), I Spit on Your Grave, Hills Have Eyes (Both) and The Texas chainsaw Massacre, i was on my edge to my seat.

  • australia WILL eat you.

  • @beaum1cah Damn Drop-bears.

  • @ngksri lol sorry, after a bit of researching on my part I realized that the movie didn't follow the tale to the exact point, my bad....

  • @ngksri there won't be a second one,

It's based on true events so there is no sequel

  • @AusLittleRock Yes there is going to be a Wolf Creek 2. Just google "Wolf Creek 2" and you'll see for yourself ;)

  • "I could tell ya...but then I'd have to kill ya"

    Awkward silence...

  • I can't wait for Wolf Creek 2. Does anyone know when it's being released?

  • I soooooo want to see it 

  • Cool I soooooo want to see it 

  • pess 9 in 1 second intervals ive done it like 50 times classic

  • First 8 seconds I thought it was Jersey Shore. Then I noticed the people were actually attractive.

    Whoops.

  • Very nice movie. Definitely recommended.

  • *sigh* don't believe them when they say this is a good film it isn't :P but if you want stupid character then watch this.. :) i wanna kill those girls myself they got a chance to kill the pyscho but they didnt how stupid!!

  • @fayis4everlove So, that' syour opinion on the thing. but did you watch it? The girl did try, and she almost succeeded. In fact, she did for the most part, she just didn't completely killed him and was out of bullets when she went to make sure. Also, if you were faced with the exact situation, I doubt you would have thought clearly yourself.

  • @YuriHanaY duh? what a you a toddler? the gun has bullet but the girl is so dumb she didnt know how to realod and come on did you forgot the psycho has a knife?? why didnt she use it?? DUH!!

  • @fayis4everlove The fact that you seem to be trying to insult me by calling me a toddler is very immature for one. And secondly, once again, if you were in that situation, I doubt you'd be thinking clearly either.

  • @YuriHanaY if i know a pyscho following me i'll run LOL

  • I want to see a parody where someone replaces Mr.Kelly in "Hey Dad" with the Murder guy from this movie.

  • @KingofTownz I'm not gonna start listing them all but when u talk of the most popular horror films I reckon this and the saw movies are right up there. In terms of new stuff check out The Loved Ones. Looks kinda weird and different but no doubt highly entertaining haha

  • Wow this movie is early life like. No flesh eating creatures, or chainsaw killer. Just good old lunatic killing people

  • is this a real story ? :S

  • @MrIbby12

    yes :S:S:S

  • @pigbossa HOLLY SHIT !!!!

  • The creepy laugh at the end lol

  • Too bad they didn't ask him what he was doing on February 14, 1900 at Hanging Rock....

  • @KOSMOSandTELOS yeah I've noticed that too. But Australian films don't usually have a budget as high. This is why Australian horror films are the best. Much more attention on the actual script (better writers) and far better actors which make it more believable - that's what makes a good horror film

  • @mikejl91 ....and what other australian films are there?

  • I've noticed that most Australian movies seem to have superior acting compared to most American movies. The acting seems pretty good in this movie, but I still can't tell much from the trailer. Can anyone tell me if this is a good movie for someone who's rather critical when it comes to acting in movies?

  • @KOSMOSandTELOS I watched it last night and the acting is superb.

  • 30 lifes in prison i hope you die in the first 10 seconds peace of filth

  • I didn't know they made a movie about Christian Brutal Sniper! Cool!

  • the worst horror film I have ever seen!

  • a very scared movie!! But I think a good movie!

  • Australian Tourism at it's best!

  • @YuniiBebyyy A cunt is a fanny but I didn't mean it in the sense you thought. It's an unpleasant word bu they should have killed him the moment they had the chance. Now you mention it at that point it was two girls. hhhhmmmm

  • @YuniiBebyyy Why was I sexist? I'm lost!

  • it's real?

No, because nobody knows what happened t the girls ^^

The man was the nest who came away.

    sorry for my english

  • its very beatiful :D

  • WOLF CREEK 2 in 2012.

  • a brilliant aussie film

  • press 9 for lols

  • The stupid cunts COULD HAVE KILLED HIM

  • Muito Bom esse Filme, Baseado em Fatos Reais, Terror de Um Louco Australiano de já foi da Guerra, matando pessoas inocentes!

  • my favorite movie of all

  • any1 who dislikes this movie is fucking crazy,i bet alot of yanks dislike this movie because they like hollywood bullshit like saw halloweenect, where as this film is based on actual events.

  • Now i know a great thriller movie when i saw one....and this wasnt one of your ordinary one. at first it was like this depressing indie movie, and i saw the long narrative descriptions about people in australia keep gone missing, i never thought it'll be like this. twas terrifying, and has this moral value about the environment, rock from outer space, and i was just speechless. all i could say, becareful in Aus, there;s a lot of deserts

even critics says, this movie is too freaky and sick
