Could you point me to an actual medical journal link on the subjet? I can only find links from religious message boards trying to spread the supposed "miracle". My guess is that the girl had Aniridia which is not the same as being born without pupils and it doesn't necessarily result in complete blindness. Also, the medical community is far from baffled about the condition.
I just found an old photo of the girl and I'm certain that it's Aniridia which is an iris defect... not missing pupils. It also occurs in both eyes and doesn't result in complete blindness. Again, show me a medical journal where Science is puzzled and I'll be happy to read it. It appears, however, that this is just another fake miracle that's spreading because nobody tries to read the details before they post it online.

I can GUARANTEE millions of faces have appeared in random places and on random objects, so there is bound to be some that appear to resemble Jesus, despite the fact that no-one even knows his face. Most of those don't even resemble what Jesus is supposed to look like, people just jump to conclusions.. PURE chance those are.
This is just an example of how ridiculous religion is. If Jesus really wanted to reveal himself to us he could just appear right in front of us. Materialize in front of all 6 billion of us at the same time and end the debate once and for all. Maybe give us a new book, more up to date with less flaws and contradictions. we have absolutely no idea wut jesus looked like. paintings from the renaissance era depict jesus as a white man with light brown, straight hair and a beard, yet the bible describes jesus as a man with hair of wool and skin of bronze. so people forget that they're just basing their image of jesus on some artist's imagination, and not from an actual photograph. so its impossible to ever identify any physical resemblance to jesus.

How about Padre Pio, a Catholic Monk, a man of the 20th Century. Hundreds if not thousands of healings and miracles attributed to his prayers to God. He had many gifts; bi-location, reading hearts in the confessional, conversions and more.

A secular, non-Catholic, mentioning a tale is hardly a first hand account. There are lots of people today that "believe" that a miracle was performed. Someone's leg being blown off in war, later praying, and finally the leg growing back... that's a miracle. Also, that has and never will ever happen.

How can people go through life believing something solely based on someone telling them it's true? It astonishes me. A missing limb growing back, which is not possible, would be proof. An ailing organ doesn't count because it can't be observed as easily and a persons immune system can assist, and often does, in recovery. Just like praying and taking medicine is NOT a miracle. If all you have are second hand, hearsay tales of miracles and trying to set rules for which prayers will be answered to justify amputees NEVER getting their prayers answered then don't bother replying.

we have absolutely no idea wut jesus looked like. paintings from the renaissance era depict jesus as a white man with light brown, straight hair and a beard, yet the bible describes jesus as a man with hair of wool and skin of bronze. so people forget that they're just basing their image of jesus on some artist's imagination, and not from an actual photograph. so its impossible to ever identify any physical resemblance to jesus.

Surprising, no historian of the time wrote of him... there was just that one forgery by the Catholic church. Other than that, no major historian of the time he is elleged to have existed ever wrote of him. Just people that lived 200+ years after he supposedly existed. True. You can't prove or disprove an untestable statement... However, it makes no logical sense to say that "God" is all-loving, all-knowing, all-powerful and all-present. Too many bad situations can be used as an example to show the contradiction. If there is a God, it's more likely that he created us and has no involvement anymore.
