I think I prefer this to Villazon's version, in the end. Ainsley's voice just sounds more natural and the sound seems to come out more easily. I think it makes him more communicative, at least for this music.
It's beautiful and like the video apart from the vehicles passing by which I think look as if they weren't supposed to be there. Why is there a video? What's it promoting?

That's why arias are staged in a modern way, to show people how feelings in Händel music remain the same and can be adapted to any age without changing their meaning.

@tomasitok2 Hi... in fact I just got that out of the Uni library and have seen it all now. I have been on an opera course and am on one now.
