Bush did secure iraqi oil but he's done nothing to curb it's usage or implement renewable alternatives (where possible). no president can allow the petrodollar to collapse, but at some point the US is going to have to prepare for a world without oil. the saudi oil figure 269.8bn barrel of oil would only last 8 years if were the only world oil supplier.
