  • I have a 93 eclipse 2.0 non turbo and the muffler i have on it is a little too ricey for my liking. would anyone know of a good replacement muffler that is a deeper sound? thanks

  • ile ma do setki???

  • i have a 94 mitsubishi eclipse gs 2.0 non turbod

  • te przeróbki coś ci dały?

  • Can anyone give me step by step instructions on how to not run the maf? or bypass it? i also have a 93 eclipse 4g63 2.0 n/t

  • wheres the cold air intake from? does it accept the maf?

  • are the 94 eclipse gs 1.8 liters good ??

  • @masonc531 yes but 2.0 is better

  • this isnt turbo?

  • I use to have the exact the same car.. And man that was a blast!!

    Fun car for sure...

  • Hahaha I miss my old rev-happy 4G63 NT. It was slow but loads of fun to drive!

  • thtss the 4g63

  • hey i have the same question that nakars asked. where is your mass air flow sensor? or what did you do plz respond i have exact same car but white

  • @treadwak @nakars @markbuhler007 MAF is gone. I made a conversion to MAP sensor and ECU Master - polish alternative to SMT6/7. It can translate readings from MAP sensor to those needed by ECU. This way I have no restrictions and can use 3'' intake with any filter.

  • where is your MAF sensor...how did you bypass it..?

  • @nakars its inside the cone, the maf is so huge that the only way to put aftermarket on is to get the same size filter thats on it stock

  • @BrendelxD No, it's not. There is no MAF in this car. As I said - it's run on MAP sensor.

  • @cyberluk27 ahhhhh i see. srry, lol

  • I have the same car as you do but how did you get your air intake on with out useing your intake air temperature sensor cuz mine is bigger than the actual filter!

  • i have a 94 eagle talon es but has a 1.8 n it, im just makin it look good its a waist of time and money to do heavy mods to a 94hp sohc motor

  • My mom had a 92 Gs, I think it had a 1.8, it was auto, but did that little heavy ass car move. Did 150mph by a cop for suree. Now I got a 89 cutlass with a Cobalt SS motor, automatic to. Holla =P Me be lazy lol

  • Unless you were going down a huge hill, it is a physical imposibility for a 92hp 1.8l motor to move a 2400lb car to 150mph.

  • @oSt0n3rKiDo Yeahhh I think you're a liar kiddo. No way in hell a 1.8 would do 150, unless you were going down a 90' hill; oh no, wait, the gearing wouldn't even allow it to do 150. And an 89 cutlass with a cobalt SS motor? Riiight.. Kiddo, you do realize that if the little shitty 4 banger in your cutlas is a 2.2, it's NO WHERE NEAR the same engine the cobalt uses, just because it's a 2.2l aswell, doesnt mean it's the same motor, and it wouldn't mate to a rear drive automatic. Go die, faggot.

  • clean engine noob!

  • oh yea because the car that you obviously has is in mint condition.

  • I'm guessing that it's a Clutch thats wearing out.

But yeah, I'm planning to flush the tranny and change with a better fluid.

    Linkage are fine.

    Hopefully not the Synchro.

    I'd be broke as hell.

  • y do u have to almost redline to go 80mph i think ur motors has just about had it time for a rebuild.a decent running na 4g63 shouldnt have to redline in every gear to gain top speed.

  • How's your gas consumption on this car?

    Got the same one today..

Do you have any grinding problems while shifting?

  • If you have grinding while shifting i would do two things to start with. I would change my transmission fluid, check the shift linkage and if after that it was still grinding I would get angry because the syncronizer are going bad lol.

  • i have one but i let me stupid brother used it and he burnt of the freaking transmission plus my other bro just rebuilt and it kept stalling unless u put ur foot on the gass it sucks though now i cant drive it wont move

  • where did you get that intake im looking to get one for a 94 na

  • Drive it off a cliff... All it's worth.

  • lame

  • how did you bypas your MAF??

  • 3:16 minutos perdidos da minha vida vendo está merda!

  • how can u tell the difference between the n/a 4g63 and the d20

  • what the hell is a d20, no dsm has a d20. there a 4g63, 4g63t, 4g37 and the crappy 420a.

  • keep reving it like that and see how long that tranny lasts

  • The tranny has 140 000 km and last 5000 km were made in very hard conditions - mostly on track, keeping revs between 5500 and 7500 most of the time. The tranny is still in perfect condition. Anyway, once it brokes, I will buy a new one :)

  • what does reving a car have to do with the tranny???

  • Technically revving your car in park is a bad idea because its in gear. Generally if your going to rev it neutral would be Ideal. Like with a manual tranny you cant rev it in gear at all.

  • you can't tell if this car is a stick or not though??? thats why slush boxes are a horrible invention... buy cars with real transmissions! they are called a standard for a reason lol

  • Your not that stupid right? Autos in most cases and most cars are faster than manaual transmissions. If their in good working order they shift faster and more firmly and eliminate the lag between gears. If you put two of the same car up next to eachother stock for stock the manual will lose unless the driver in the manual is a professional and the person in the auto is a complete idiot never driven a car in his life before the manual will win.

  • I understand that... but from the repair standpoint, and the quality I'd rather replace a clutch than a torque converter! and a whole transmission. Plus whats the fun in pushing just one pedal

  • You have a point there. If i were going to auto-X or drift or something yes a manual would be ideal. But drag racing auto is the way to go. Most drag racers will tell you they have an auto tranny most likely with a shift kit. Hell i work at a ford dealership and i drive manual mustangs, focuses and used cars all day but i still like autos.. manuals are fun for about a week then its just a hassle..

  • Yeah... I drive a manual every day... Fun sometimes... hassle all the time... But I just trust it more, like the option... These new semi manuals are looking to be the way to go!!! a car that gives you the option to shift or the let the car take control sounds great, but I haven't actually read how they work so i dont know

  • Yeah we have had a few tiptronic or w/e come thru. We have a 08 Lancer on the lot with paddle shifters. Its awesome!

  • you are wrong. automatic transmission have longer gearing because they have less gears than manuals. which in turn means slower acceleration

  • I LOVE 4G63!
