Not on the hair; and better with dry hair; damp hair might rust the blades; put oil (came with the package) on blades and turn the unit on for a few seconds to lubricate them as instructed in the manual then start trimming hair
This thing saved my life 19 years ago, I absolutely hated going to the barber shop, then worrying if the "new" guy or girl would screw up my hair and also i hated sitting still for that time, So I've been thrilled with mine ever since 1992 and will not get a haircut any other way. Thanks "Flow".
Hey, how are you doing? I was wondering... when they say put two drops of oil on the blades everytime you use it, do they mean 2 drops on every blade?
I haven't been to a barber since I bought my Flowbee 14 years ago. It works great and I can give myself a perfect haircut in about 10 minutes or less.
I figure that I have saved between three and four thousand dollars that I would have paid to a barber during that time. The real advantage though is that I can give myself a haircut once a week and my hair always looks perfect.
It isn't a great deal of work. It takes me less time to accomplish a perfect haircut than it did to drive to the barber or stylist. It takes me less time to accomplish a perfect haircut than it did waiting in line at the barber or stylist.
Flowbee is a great product. Its ease, cost savings and simplicity are still waiting to be discovered.
It doesn't look so bad. Just needs a little trimming. I could do my husbands hair. I have some clippers I could trim it up with. Maybe I'll order one of these.
The trick is, get a good haircut first and then use the spacers to figure out just what you need to duplicate the cut with a Flowbee and write it down. I've had mine for 20 years and it's great...only thing that has had to be replaced is the spacers.
Yes, you do need trimmers to do the bottom of the back of your hair, around ears, etc.
Tip: Wash your hair beforehand and afterward! It will cut much better with clean hair then it will fluff up when you wash it after cutting it. I know because I do it this way.
I use a flowbee and love it. For the first time, you did a good job. You still need to use a pair of scissors (or electric trimmer) to trim around the ears, sideburns, and the back of the neck.
Very nice. Looks good, especially for the first time.
DId the Flowbee people send you a basket of fruit as a thank you?

Did you put oil in your hair prior to using the Flowbee?

So these things really work? Impressive. I don't think it would go so well with longer ladies' hair though.

Actually I put one drop on each "pair" of teeth and let it buzz for a few seconds. (I was confused of the instruction as well...)

Why is this video hilarious? I guess if he got his wife to trim his sideburns and back of neck it would look a lot better. LOL.
