i want to be the mantoss! how does he manage those psi storm drops so fast. lol, merging that archon was like mocking poor Boxer's powerful yet futile attack. great game and thanks for presenting it so well.
fantastic commentating on the series. Really interesting games as well, it's amazing how good these guys are in the mid and end game with so many units and expansions.
thanks for commentating on this series, you did a great job, but I would also suggest you talk a bit more about the players themselves. Other than that the only thing you might want to work on is your undying love for Reach xD
cholera, i want to give you my support 100%! love your style and the quality of your strategy analysis. One thing that I would like to hear more of, though, is background history on the players. I don't know much about them individually.
Another thing that I'd like to hear about more often are your starcraft visions, such as your ultralisk-like dog and overlord jellyfish hiding scourge beneath them!
I really enjoyed this series, both players are really good but, due to the sheer playing ability Reach has and had even back than with Protoss, he won.
I loved it. And again, great commentary Cholera. I like your style as you keep up nicely with the video and really give us non-competitive Starcraft playing folks a simple cut and dry way of knowing whats going in these games, especially during the tactics and why a player does something.
I thought it was great commentary, though I've only watched a couple SC games so far :P
In the future I'd suggest having 15 vids per series, even if the last one or two need to be filler of a short/blank video. Just having the 4+5 in the video title gave away the fact that there was no game 5, simply because the first 3 games were all 3 vids long as well.
pwnage. great job commentating. as far as future commentating - could you maybe find some games where boxer actually wins? supposedly he used to be the man, but every time i watch classic games of his, it's like this. he seems a bit newbish in this set, with the insistance on m&m and the poor drops that come too late. seems kind'a cheesey.
All right, sounds good. I'm planning on doing one of the two Boxer v Yellow series next - and if you know Yellow's reputation, you should guess who wins ^^
Yea, someone else posted about the medic marines too. I think maybe Boxer had used this strategy effectively against Protosses who expanded or teched too quickly in the recent past. But Reach builds up quite a lot of goons/zealots in every game that Boxer goes MM, so he was well prepared.
i wonder if boxer, after winning so many titles already, wasn't trying to prove something with these games. maybe he was trying to prove that m&m is a viable strategy v protoss. clearly, however, he has proven that it's not, as not even the emporor can pull it off. who the heck knows - in this set it just made it seem like he had no faith in his marco, trying to win early and then constantly trying to drop even though reach was pretty secure. where do you get these games?

Boxer brought back MM rush vs toss just recently with great success vs Nal_Ra, so maybe he's been working on it all these years secretly ;)

I'm fairly interested in seeing this M&M vs Nal_Ra game. Do you have a link to it? When did it happen? I don't remember having watched it...
