i know this project is for a night light but if i had the kit i would take it alot further and have a circuit that will charge a battery or charge a phone or somthing that will charge with at least 2-3 volts.

i got it, somehow ill make it so when i ride a bike its a generator powering a battery connected to lights and then when i stop to cross the streets i point the front wheel in the way i want to go and then when i do that it lights a light on the left ofthe bike so then drivers know that im going that way its just like a blinker on a car

In fact, what you could even do is attach a small gear onto the axle holding the magnet wheel, then attach a larger gear to the rodent-turned wheel (the driver's gear teeth number > the driven gear's) and get over twice the mount of power for each rotation, as its an inductive gear ratio. However, you'd need a bigger mouse, though it's a good idea anyway.
